Admittedly, the thought of a troll and a wolf shifter caught my eye, and I was pleasantly surprised by this sweet holiday story.
Yes, Arlo is a troll. Convention tells him he must stand guard and diligently take care of his newly designated bridge, never to leave it until he’s ready to start his own family. He’s an assumed solitary sort, and despite his love of bantering for tributes, deep down Arlo is lonely.

I enjoyed this title very much, even if I would have preferred a more profound connection with the readers through the writing style: at times, I felt like it was a bit too "light".
I loved the two main characters, their personal stories and their meaningful friendship (and love), as well as the setting: I could see, through the pages, the bridge and the forest and the magical aura around them.
A solid 3.5 stars for me. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fluff and cute reading!

Arlo and Tobias met when Tobias was walking to his family's home and had to cross a bridge. Arlo was the troll and guarded the bridge and expected a tribute of some kind in order to pass over the bridge but the first time they met, Tobias had nothing to give the troll. Arlo let Tobias pass the first time for free but that night on the way back, Tobias brought a plate of cookies for the big troll. Tobias invited himself to eat a cookie with Arlo and they sat and talked and slowly became friends.

This is an absolutely sweet and adorable PNR romance. It features a troll who isn't very good at being a troll but is kind and such a sweetheart and a wolf shifter who is anything but ordinary despite what he thinks. There is no angst, a bit of steam and a whole lot of cute encounters. I liked that the author introduced a bit of body positivity and gave Arlo the troll a big family of his own. This book just absolutely warmed my heart. A kind of grumpy giant bridge troll and a hyper happy wolf shifter falling in love (which they both so desperately crave)? Sign me up! Smiling from smart to finish, I recommend this book to all looking for a light, fluffy, sweet holiday story that will have you rooting for love and leaving completely happy.

Bridge to Love is a very sweet, very simple story. It reads like a fairytale with a very light touch of eroticism. There’s nothing dramatic or overly angsty here and equally, there isn’t a lot of depth. It’s the sort of thing you want to pick up when you’re looking for warm and fuzzy without much substance.

This is a heartwarming, adorable story with a plucky wolf shifter, a very kindly troll, and tons of holiday cheer. I loved the way that the story unfolds over the span of months, and how each milestone in the relationship is carefully and beautifully outlined before moving on to the next. You can see both Toby and Arlo working to build their relationship from interest to friendship to something more, and I loved the gentle certainty of that progression. This was such a cute, quick read. We have Toby who is the sweetest wolf shifter ever, that has such a big heart. Arlo is a troll, I think this is my first PNR troll, who pretends to be a gruff mean troll, but he is just a sweetheart. This was a cute short story. Both Toby and Arlo are just adorable. Arlo was so sweet, so was Toby, but I found Arlo to be a wonderful troll. Many of their encounters are endearing and warmed my heart.

This book has left me in a saccharine-induced daze. Toby and Arlo are adorable (but damaged of course) MCs who deserve each other as well as all the goodness that fate, friends and family bring them. An excellent festive season novella to indulge in each year IMO.

This was a new author that I discovered online when I saw the cover and blurb of her newest release and I'm so glad I gave this book a chance! I loved the title, cover art and blurb. How adorable would a troll and wolf shifter pairing be? Absolutely adorable to the umpteenth power. I loved Arlo and Toby and Toby's pack was so supportive and loving.

This is one heartwarming story that just fits the Christmas season. I just really loved this. The M/M subjects appeared like a potentially odd match (a troll and a wolf shifter) but the plot just seemed to flow perfectly. The troll Arlo has no family, all alone, with only his commitment to tending his bridge. That is the way with trolls. What a unique book. I loved it! This is such a sweet little holiday story and a quick read. Here we have the story of Arlo the troll under the bridge, who is tired of being alone, and Toby the wolf shifter, a messenger running back and forth between packs on opposite sides of the bridge.
