An eye-opening book
First, I have to say, this book is not aimed at turning you into a master manipulator, but tries to teach you the way the human mind works. There are no good or bad people, we’re all a mix of both. Our choices and actions define how we will be perceived by others. By reading this book you’ll also learn to notice when someone is trying to manipulate you, or if they have certain intentions.
You can learn a lot about yourself with the help of his guide, you might even discover you have been doing certain things to achieve your goals without even realizing it. I honestly recommend everyone to read this book, because it has the potential to make you escape from dangerous situations. If you learn how to profile someone with a dark motive or with a disturbed personality, you could walk away before you become a victim, like many others. Read this especially if you’ve been in an abusive relationship at one point.
Overall I think Darren Brown has done a wonderful job with this book,. he’s truly an inspiring author.

This is an extreme knock off of absolutely everything 'Darren Brown', has ever done or ever will.
It's almost like, "this is the best that he can do now that everyone knows his trick for free on YouTube", so he did this 100% for 'some' money.

Lots of grammatical errors… strange to make it past an editor…

Good start but underwhelming ending
About 70% through the book and it begins to take a nose dive. To grammar errors to discredited experiments. Mediocre towards the end at best.

I thought this was about a "dark history of psychology"... it is not.
Just a glorified "pick up artist" manual with A LOT OF SCIENTIFIC ERRORS.
