As a student of the keyboard before I moved to guitar, this beginner's book is a little redundant with its notation exercises, but is a great place to begin.

I would heavily recommend one familiarize themself with the keyboard and drums before moving on to a guitar, to develop their rhythm and musical theory foundation, but otherwise, would recommend this book.

Nice little book for beginners. There's lots of material here to get a student through the basics and onto guitar pieces by famous composers.
