My Magical Foods is a book that talks about children making healthier eating choices. This book encourages children to eat more fruits and vegetables in fun ways. Children will enjoy the book because it compares healthy eating habits to animals almost like a superpower. Children will enjoy eating their green vegetables when they know it makes them strong like a gorilla. I would recommend this book as many children are picky eaters. This book makes trying new foods fun and appealing to young children. While also helping children gain better eating habits the book is very diverse and shows children from a variety of different cultures. I believe families and teachers can both benefit from this book as picky eating is a subject that happens at both home and school. I recommend this book for younger children ages three through six.

This adorable picture book takes readers on a journey to learn about all the healthy foods that grow below your feet. This message is very important because today's children are mainly fueled by Mcdonald's and other foods that are not the greatest for our bodies. The author did a great job writing the text of this book. Using rhyming words keeps the story entertaining and fun to read for young children. The illustrations are very colorful and detailed! I love that they show the different animals eating fruits and vegetables. This small detail will make children that much more eager to eat clean. I will definitely be reading this book to my future children to encourage them to make wise decisions when deciding what to eat.

Great story for young children. It rhymes which is catchy. It talks about how fruits and vegetables grow and how they are good for you. This can help kids want to try other foods. The book also explains that reasons why all the foods are healthy for you. This can be a great book to read to picky eaters to introduce them to different foods. Or you can read it to a child if you are going to start to grow a garden. They will be able to learn about some of the foods that they will be growing. I absolutely loved the illustrations. They were so cute and colorful. It makes the healthy food look fun to eat.
