I found this better than Masterson, purely as it was a bit more relationship focused, albeit one sided.
Sam is another master vampire we met in the previous book.
He is chasing Trina and Trina is giving him a hard time.
Not really any action with Trina being a necromancer which is a pity.
Once again no real conclusive HEA but lots of sex in abnormal places.
Read through Kindle Unlimited.

TRIGGER: whispers of LGBTQ
Better than the book Masterson, but a bit boring. The cycle of what they do together is just on repeat. There is no story per se. Thankfully, there is only one disposal of a human body and the details are less explicit than in Masterson.

Short but good
Or maybe I just read too fast!
An intriguing world, starting with Masterson.
I feel like more could have been done with her job issues. I feel like I was left hanging on that.

A fun, quick read. Perfect for bedtime reading with steamy parts. Can be a stand alone but read Masterson first (if I were you).
