From the moment my eyes grazed over much more of Sasha than I deserved to see, I was infatuated. She was gorgeous, but it was the light in those blue-gray eyes that pulled me in. A beautiful little spitfire.Sure, she’s a bit sheltered, even spoiled. That isn’t her fault. We’ve all done things we aren’t proud of. I certainly have – and I’d have to keep those hidden until long after my sweet angel had fallen in love with me. I will tease her, hell, even court her, until I win her over.No matter what her parents thought, no matter how much of my past came to light, all that matters in this world is that I make Sasha mine.(Well, that and the fact that morning coffee must be served black. This world has rules, after all.) ***This sweet and steamy romance is a standalone 43,000 word novel. No cliffhangers, no cheating, and an adorable HEA.Please click the author’s name for the email list and website.

Sasha’s mother had set her up with her friends sons on dates in total she went on 66 dates. The last date they discovered straight off that they wouldn’t work so just decided to enjoy the meal. When Sasha got home it was still early so she decided to go for a swim. Her father and his friends were down the other end enjoying a barbecue. She went into the pool house and had just taken her clothes off when someone came out of the bathroom naked. He quickly turned around to put swimming trunks on while she put her bikini on. He introduced himself as Oakley his brother was a friend of her father. They went swimming together and then Oakley left her. Sasha couldn’t wait to tell Sarah her friend all about him. Since Oakley was older than her he wanted to court her and take it slow as he knew she was the one for him. They had there ups and downs mostly to do with the fact that her parents found out about him. This is a great story of an older man and young woman.

Sasha and Oakley are the main characters in this book, they unexpectedly meet and are immediately drawn to each other. Both main characters have their own issues to deal with. Oakley has a past he’s not fond of and Sasha has two parents who are desperately trying to introduce her to men they feel are suitable for her to not only date but marry as well. This is an entertaining read with a good plot to it. An enjoyable book to spend a couple of hours reading.

“The intensity of his eyes revealed what I always suspected. Oakley was a little obsessed with me.”

What a fun read! Oakley is an older man with a bit of a troubled past that falls instantly in love with 21 year old Sasha. They both have artistic souls and seem to fit well together. Oakley wants to do everything possible to make Sasha fall in love with him before she finds out about his embarrassing past. With his quirky antics she falls fast and hard. I loved them together and definitely will be storing Oakley away as one of my book boyfriends!

Sasha still lives at home with mom and dad. Her mom keeps fixing her up with dates every Saturday night. She's had 66 unsuccessful dates and is tired. She tells her mom she needs a break. Her dad is having a guys night in the backyard, she decides to go for a swim in the pool. She goes to the pool house to change into a suit and when she's naked, out comes a naked man from the bathroom. This is how she meets Oakley. He's the younger brother of one of her father's friends. He starts bringing her coffee to work and meeting her after she closes the art gallery she works at. Once she falls for him and loves him, she finds out his past. He parents refuse to let her see him, but she realizes she's an adult and can choose her own path. Loved the ending!

Fabulous

I loved this book. Sasha and Oakley made for such a wonderful couple. At first I wasn’t sure if was going to like Sasha because she did feel very spoiled but it was enjoyable getting to watch her grow into her own. And seeing how Oakley helped her to do that was fabulous. Great book.

[did not finish] stopped at 29%, the attraction between the characters came out of nowhere. also, the hero keeps evading the heroine's questions like he is hiding a lot of things, which in turn feels very shady.

Beautifully sweet

This was a beautifully written story. Loved how Sasha stood up for her love for Oakley and that they let nothing and no one stop them from being together.
