It had 0 plot. There's only about half a scene that didn't contain very explicit sex. It's the first 2 pages, in case you were wondering.
Decent porn though if you like holes...being filled...with large things... It's like, 4-star porn, 1-star story.

Good idea but crappy execution
It was... Eh. It was mostly sex, but not really GOOD sex. I've never read such sexy things happening and felt so little. With the right author those scenes would literally set you on fire; this was not the right author. I felt nothing for either MC which is not surprising since neither really had a personality at all.
The idea was actually promising if you're into demon erotica (which I usually am) but there was no anything to bring it together. Other reviewers warned that this was kind of dub-con but it really wasn't even that. Like maybe that's what the author was going for but it really didn't feel like that to me. "I'm a big guy I could never submit and call someone master!" "Yes you can you totally want to." "Huh I guess I do. I love you master!" That's basically the book. And its about on the same level as the plot and dialogue so if you found that interesting, this is the book for you.
Glad I got this on KU because I wouldn't want to spend money on this. Have absolutely no interest in continuing the series or ever reading anything from this author again. 2.5 stars because I did actually finish the book, but rounded that sucker right down because I'm annoyed with myself for doing so.

Definetly a pornographic novel
So, as the titel says, if you're looking for a pornographic novel well, you've found one. Personally I find these kind of novels to be like reading one of the author's sexual fantasies.
I think erotic fiction can be a beautifully crafted story not just sex but this book unfortunately almost explicitly contains sexual content which is why I give it one star. It wasn't one of those beautifully crafted stories I was hoping for.
It's also a rather short story compared to what I usually read so yeah.
Decent porn if that's what you want and a rather poor story in my opinion.
Constructive feedback would be to add more backstory and story away from the erotics.

Why do the demons have a sex club? Is it just sexual pleasures and "slaves" they seek or is there a deeper meaning to why they seek out these things? There were hints of devouring souls etc, perhaps that's what they do? If so it would be interesting to read why the are like they are and do what they do.
It's also very vague how mat found the club to begin with, was it a popular place? If so, did Boone raise an eyebrow at missing people?
There's so much one could have added to in my opinion make the story come to life more.

Hmm. I don't often read purely M-M books. This is my second book in about 2/3 weeks. And it is such a contrast.
I had an issue with the pet names. Boy, baby boy, master. All of them were a huge no for me.
I both love and hate the aspect that it is a demon we are dealing with. What I hated were the scenes where Matt clearly isn't 100% into what is taking place, then Blaze either plants the image into his head that "this will please me" or he "encourages" him by calling him a good boy/mine. It was very manipulative. The whole book is basically dubious-consent.
Then we have the final aspect of their relationship, he has to recruit a new "boy" into the fold. You see what I mean? It is deviously in line with being a demon, but so wrong.
It was a hot read in some aspects. In others, the consent aspect made me power read through. I think the most unpleasant aspect was that from the start, Matt didn't seem to be into sounding, let alone Blaze being a big guy aspect. But he finally does it, not for himself but because it pleases master. Nope, didn't like that...at all.

I don't know how to rate this. I've never read a book quite like this. So I'm going with a "3?"
It's a demon/human dom/sub relationship. So that's unique, at least. The demons (Blaze) are freakishly large, so they want their humans (Matt, called "Boy" and "Baby Boy") to be body builder gym rats.
The demons live in a kind of monster sex club. So that's kind of cool. They have monster sized sex toys, like eggplant sized butt plugs, because the demons have clubs for dicks. I haven't read a book with urethral sounding in it, so props (ugh. No pun intended) for bringing some fetishes in. But as a nurse I should say that the urethra and bladder are sterile, so UTIs can occur so make sure that stuff is done properly (I should probably say don't do it but I don't want to kink shame).
I wasn't so keen on Blaze reading Matt's mind. Like, stay out of his thoughts. That's very rude.

I was surprised by this story. It's told in dual POV's - Matthew, a muscled gym rat and the Demon, Blaze. Matt's been recruited to a "sex club" by his friend, Don, and it's there that he meets Blaze. I wasn't sure at first how I felt about the way the story started. There's a lot of dub con and it's not usually something I prefer to read. However, as the story progressed, I could see how it was kind of essential to the building relationship. Blaze feeds off of Matt's reluctant submission, as much as his willing, and it really emphasizes Blaze's demonic nature. There's a certain progression that needs to take place before Blaze can truly claim Matt. The was intrigued by this nature of the demons relationships and, all in all, I actually enjoyed how things evolved. The heat factor is definitely 🔥🔥 and I'm interested to see it there are other demon books by this author.

truly one of the unseggsiest seggsy stories i have ever read. which is SUPER sad,because the premise had SUCH promise!! matt comes off as a petulant man child,and blaze is really boring to be a supernatural being. there was basically no character development,true character descriptions,explaination or any deeper plot other than matt deciding to stay. i guess it's a "thing" in the same seggs genre that "boy" is seggsy,but reading it every two paragraphs was really repetitive and annoying. i would have prefered that blaze call matt a pet name or something. overall,just fell super flat when it really could have been amazing! my thoughts only. feel free to read and form your own opinion. but don't say you weren't warned.

This book was very hot, as I expect, and love, from this author. But it didn’t really explore the characters as well as I wanted. Don didn’t have to push very hard at all to get Matt to try things out. And yet, Matt is constantly contradicting himself. He knows that he enjoys bottoming, and yet argues with Blaze that he isn’t a bottom. He craves being with someone stronger than himself, but repeatedly has issues with his masculinity for being submissive. I’d love to have more insight into Matt’s emotions and the evolution of his thoughts, rather than it just magically happening because of Blaze’s magic demon dick.

Demons...
Who knew they were into kinky sexytimes? This book was so confusing. Not the dubcon nor the non ending sex scenes, but the story itself. You may be asking yourself why would I need a story when there is so much sex going on?
Because it was frigging added by the writer and I need answers.
So demons hang out on the 13th floor of a building and have humans lure others to the demons waiting for pets and no one notices? Do all these humans not have families? Did that one demon kill his pets? Will the ones going into the demon world be free? Or will they be sex slaves for eternity?

strange and a bit confusing
Depending on what kind of (reading)-kink you’re in too it’s either a romantic tale about a boy and his loving demon, or a rather disturbing story about a man who is brainwashed in to a relationship with a psychological abusive demon who confuse sexual ownership with love. I kind of liked it but the fact that it’s hinted on that the guy is being compelled to have this feelings grate a bit. But, it’s a book about sexual fantasies and everything goes in your fantasy.

This was a smutty, erotic, demon and human story. No real plot, just start to finish smut. Matt is a gym bro, he is the definition of a top, until he sees his caged and plugged in both ends. He’s intrigued and he allows Don to convince him to come to the club. Matt goes and is seduced by Blaze. He tries to fight the craving and the need but in the end, he can’t. It’s kinky and smutty and very enjoyable if you want a sexy read. Well written and a creative twist to BDSM, with yummy demons.

Great Start
This was a wonderful start to a new series. I loved how the author gave voice to the mental and emotional struggles that Matt was going through. His acceptance of what he was and what he not only wanted but needed made this book so much more enjoyable for me. I definitely can't wait for the next book. ...so glad that I have this author a chance.
