Miss Jenesequa’s romance novels are known for their powerful and convincing storylines filled with love, drama, and passion. If you’re eager to explore unique and captivating stories, she’s the indie author for you.
I love an alpha male who wears his heart on his sleeve and isn’t afraid to express his feelings. Ezra was a man on a mission. When he saw Ava that was it. He found his lobster and set out to make her his. Ava had no idea the trajectory her life was about to take. Not only did she have the eye of the richest man in Miami but also, the owner of the establishment she worked at. These two embark on the sweetest love journey and I loved watching them fall for each other so organically. Ava didn’t judge Ezra for his past and Ezra encouraged Ava to pursue her passion in photography. The constant affirmations they gave one another just warmed my heart. We had a little bit of drama. An ex who refused to accept the relationship was over, a delusional FWB who won’t acknowledge he’s just not that into you, and some overbearing parents. Whew chile! I wanted to slap the piss out of Ava’s mama. That woman was a judgmental mess hot. Thank God for Eden. She’s the sister we all deserve. I loved the relationship and bond between Ava and Eden and how they defended each other when their parents were showin’ their azz. You're Mine: Chosen By A Miami King was a sweet instant love story. The ending will have you crying, drinking wine, and rooting for Ava and Ezra from start to finish. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a story on Eden and Amal. Listen, it’s been two years. It’s time for them to let go of those foolish single people rules and lets gets this thang poppin’!
This was an interesting tale...I think that I enjoyed this book and the developing relationship between Ava & Ezra because this story didn't have a lot of drama...However, there was just enough to keep the story flowing. Ezra invited Ava into his world and he wanted her to know in no uncertain terms that she belong to him. I would love to see if there will be a developing friendship between Eden & Amaal....that would be cute....The was two (2) narrators that was new to me that really did a nice job telling this story.
If Miss Jenesequa doesn’t do anything, she’s going to write a grown man! I loved Ezra so much! The parents in this book PMO so bad but I was glad to see Ava and Eden stand up to them.
i hate to say it. I so wanted to love this book but it fell short. I don't know what happened but at50% the writing changes. It's like two different people wrote this book. At 50% Mark it seemed like a fifth grader wrote it. The beginning was great the end not so much
I loved this story all around. I liked the sisterly bond between Ava and Eden and how they encouraged each other and had each others back. I loved Ezra's confidence and the way he encouraged Ava from the beginning to pursue her passion of photography. The love between these two blossomed beautifully and I liked how they were constantly affirming one another.
The 2 narrators for this book were new to me but I thought they did a great job. I hope to see Eden fall in love in a future book.
Chhhiiilleee Ezra is ❤️🔥😍👀🥰💦🙌🏾All that. He definitely was a man use to getting his way so the words no meant nothing to him. He went after what he wanted but he was definitely a prize all his own. I loved the story hoping to see more from Ms Eden 👀
My second book by Miss Jenesequa and she is becoming one of my favorite authors! I was amazed once again by her beautiful writing style and the way she drew me into the story from the first page.
Ezra is a successful bar owner of Regal and has multiple locations across Miami. He also invests in other bars. He very much had a stronghold in the bar industry in Florida. At one of his Regal locations, he sets his sight of Ava, who is working as a bartender. From that moment onwards, he knew in his spirit that Ava was the woman for him. Ezra was a man on a mission to get the woman for him. The first time he crossed parts with Ava, he wanted her. He makes it his business to see her again, so he shows up during her shift so that he could learn more about the beauty who he couldn't stop thinking about.
Ava is at a crossroads in her life. She just finished her degree in biochemistry and is in a gap year before she goes to dentist school, working as a bartender at Regal. However, becoming a dentist isn’t what she wants. Her passion, the career that breathes fire into her soul, is photography. But after witnessing the breakdown of the relationship between her sister Eden and her parents because Eden went her own way and do what she wanted and not what her parents wanted, Ava is in a dilemma on what she should do: do what she loves, or please her parents.
From the moment they met, Ezra and Ava couldn’t get enough of each other and as they spent more time together, their relationship blossomed into a love that was beautiful and genuine. They were drawn to one another and despite them both trying to not seem too clingy, they couldn’t stop thinking about and wanting to be around each other. I felt the love Ezra and Ava had for each other.
What made me fall in love with Ezra was his way with words. The way he was able to say the right things and his ability to communicate really drew me to him. He believed in communication, protecting what he deemed his and showed his love through his support of Ava’s dreams. His love was shown in his actions and I loved every part of it. Ezra was very much an alpha male, but Ava allowed him to lead. They loved each other for just being themselves.
Queen Miss Jenesequa has done it again honey!!! This beauty never cease to amaze me with her writing style. She just draws you in and have you stuck not wanting to put the book down, lbvvs. Ava and her sister Eden were pretty much told what they could and couldn't wear, what school to attends and the career path they should take. Once Eden turned 18, she chose to go out on her own and live her live on her terms which lead to her parents disowning her😔. Ava being the people pleaser and not wanting her parents to hate her, did everything her mom told her to do, until it came time to enroll in school to become a dentist. So she lied about why she was taking a gap year, all the while working as a bartender in one of the hottest bars in Miami. Ezra just exuded Big🍆Energy😜! That man was building his empire and investing in others, while giving back and ensuring that the boys on his basketball team had a positive male remodel. The first time the crossed parts with Ava he wanted her. He makes it his business to see her again, so he things out what he can and shows up during her shift so that he could learn more about the beauty who he couldn't stop thinking about. Now these two are drawn to one another like never before and despite them both trying to not seem so clingy, that can't stop thinning about and wanting to be around each other. Their first sexual encounter had Ezra ready to hold Ava captive😂. Blake was a mess🤦🏾. She was the typical bestie/sister-friend who only wanted the best for Ezra and after some of his part choices in women felt the need to protect him. She realized what he had with Ava wasn't just a fling, and they shared something way more. I'm glad she apologized to Ava. That dang Amel kept me laughing. Now Zeke ol controlling, emotionally and mental abusive a** was delusional asf. He really tried to force Ava to be with him, thought that🍆was gonna keep her coming back, poor tink tink😂. Her own momma and daddy tried to make her be with him😔. I bet after that a** whooping he got from Ezra, his a** got the picture😂😂😂. Shanelle ol silly a** got what she deserved trying to drug Ava because Ezra stopped letting her coffee him mouth services😡😂. It sucked that her cousin Javina ended up drinking it instead😔. I loved her cousin Javina who just so happened to be friends with Ava. Although that was family she cursed her out for trying to drug Ava over a man that never wanted her for more than sex. Boy Mr. Murphy was a punk a**, sorry excise for a man. The way the allowed his wife to treat their daughters, the way she talked down to them had me hotter than fish grease😡😡😡. See that's why Ezra is a true King! That man went to her parents to help repair their relationship with their daughters who only wanted love and support. The way he respectfully read them both, especially they daddy made me wanna thank him properly😏😂. As with her other books that I've read, you felt the love Ezra & Ava had for each other. I'm glad Ezra was the man that he was who believed in communication, protecting what he deemed his and showed his love through his support of her dreams, in how he spoke life into her, his love was shown in his actions and that shit is priceless💕 IT'S A MUST READ FOR ME😘
Loved this book from start to finish. Miss Jen did a great job with this book Ezra was such a loveable man and a good provider to all of the people in his life although he had a past his past didn't reflect who we was as a person.Ava was such a smart girl whom was confused at what she wanted in life because of her parents but her king came in and saved her. I hated for this bok to end. Great job!!!
I never write reviews so I’m gonna keep this short and sweet. Lord have mercy these two are the cutest things! I laughed out loud, cried a couple tears, had to calm my damn anger because who do they think they are, iykyk. Anyways best book I’ve read by far this week. Just hit all the right buttons for me! If you’re reading the reviews to decide whether to read this (like I do all the damn time) this is your sigh. READ IT BOO❤️
This book was so good. I loved that Ezra did not take no for an answer with Ava. He knew what he wanted and he went after it. I can’t wait to read your next book because you never disappoint. Ava’s parents were a hot mess, I’m glad they got it together or they would have been miserable.
Ezra is my kinda guy! He is about his.business and he don't play about his heart. He knew Ava was meant to be his when he saw her and nobody was stopping him,not even her😂 Ava wanted Ezra but she couldn't be easy like the rest of the women he's used to having. He needed a challenge and that's exactly what she gave him!
Damnnn this was good!! First read from the author and it did not disappoint!! Can I have an Ezra please?!?! Omg that man was everthing! I loved how he knew what he wanted and went after it. I'm glad Ava let him in. Her parents were trash though. Glad Ezra made her parents see the error of their ways. Great book and so hot!❤🔥
This story is taking too long for anything to happen, I can’t find interest in any of the characters, and I hate when grown a$$ ppl let other ppl (parents or not) control their lives. You making yourself unnecessarily miserable when u don’t have to. It’s stupid and annoying. I can’t finish this book I feel like I’ve been reading forever even skipping several pages and still nothing has happened yet.
In a true romantic at heart and fully believe in knowing when you've met The One. I love how unconditionally Ezra loved Ava! He pushed her to be a better and pursue her dreams. She loved him completely no matter how past. Are you going to write a story on her sister, Eden????
This book was so good from the moment it started to the ending I’m so happy she found her Prince Charming and he found his queen in her I new Sahara was gonna do something stupid at the birthday gathering she was so jealous to the point she could have killed her cousin tryna do jealous things to Ava but I’m happy they got there happy ending
What a beautiful love story 🥺 Ezra and Ava made me smile often and I thoroughly enjoyed going on this journey of their love, it was simply beautiful. Everything they didn’t know they needed they found in each other. The author is amazing I couldn’t put this down and now that it’s over I want more. Amazing work Queen 👏🏾
I really enjoyed this story. Ezra and Ava story was very realistic. I love that it was a complete story without a cliffhanger. I would enjoy reading about her sister Eden. My only issue was the parents attitude change was a little quick. I would read a book from this author again.
All of the sistahs need an Ezra. He's a grown man - handling his business and Ava.
This is for every author out there. Stop giving full-grown dialogue to fetuses. The child is ONE year old... One. Please. It pisses me off and erases all the good feelings and thoughts I had up to that point. I was going to remove a star for that silliness, but the story stands on its own merit.
Miss Jenesequa will write a man that loves you like fat kids love cake, you hear me! The Miami king wasted no time, played no games, and got what he wanted - just like the vows said!!
Not the most detailed and extreme story of losing or overcoming but I did enjoy the drama with his ex Sahara and the parents. He was a fixer. He fixed her life from beginning to end.
As always you make want read more. I am honored and grateful to get the opportunity to read your work. Please don’t stop writing because it gives us hope for love and helps to find out what our journey could look like if we give it a chance to grow. Thanks for sharing your gift.
Captured their story so well. I couldn't put it down. Ezra made you fall for hum and Ava made you love her beauty and independence. I an waiting for Eden and Amal to get together!
Loved this standalone story. Ezra was that grown man deal 😍😍 Ava was a good girl even though younger she knew how to handle Erza. Her parents were to much. Let ur kids live they make the right choices when raised right. Good Job!
Where do I start this book was everything the luv was real in this book nd everybody got their happily ever after hands down this was lit I really enjoyed reading this book!!.
I'm so glad that the girls were able to mend things with their part and have a successful career. Ezra and Ava were the perfect couple to me the way he supported her career was everything.
This was one of the most amazing love stories I’ve read in a long time. This book has me waiting on my Ezra. The way that man loves Ava is nothing short of a love designed by God. Well written and I would love to see a love blossom with Amal and Eden.
I loved this book from start to finish. Took me only hours to read because I couldn’t put it down. You won’t be disappointed. I’m looking for other books from this author
Ezra was a Real Alpha male..... With confidence and Actions to back his Stature. Ava was shy but knew exactly what she wanted. Opposites really do attract. This was an Awesome story about Black, street and career driven love
I so loved this story of love Compassion The growth The heart the love it was all so wonderful as the story Progressed that I had to read it all wasn't able to put it down until I was finished thank you for a beautiful story of love
