The series continues! with “Golden Time”, the second part of the Light and Shadow trilogy. Alex, the Duke Eli and Duchess Edna’s eldest son, has accomplished brilliant achievements. But he doesn’t want to be a frog in a well protected from dangers by his parents, thus he sets out on a journey to become a real king. While he gathers trustworthy companions, one by one, Alex begins to feel attracted to Kenny, an extroverted wandering young boy that joins the group by accident. It turns out that Kenny’s real identity is Northia’s Second Princess and Duke Frederick’s wife. The joy of the meeting in another era, the love of the two would bring the burning fire of a great war.

This story has a lot of potential to be just as great as Light and Shadow. I love how the author still is able to portray their youthfulness with impulsive, impatient, or hasty actions. I love all the characters so far and I'm excited to see how Alex becomes his own person. p.s. he has his mother's deadly stare

I think the last chapters were a bit rushed, but it was a really good story!

Recuerdo cuando anunciaron esta secuela, habia pasado un tiempo desde que habia leido "Luz y Sombra" (y de paso me lo maratoneara porque ya estaba terminado xd) y luego me entere que son 3 historias asi que haber si se lanzan la 3ra parte. El punto es que sabia que al igual que su antecesora me lo iba a maratonear y solo habian salido los primeros caps, el caso es que recien me entere que termino asi que vei corriendo a leerlo y NO DECEPCIONO. Obviamente no es la historia de Edna y Eli sino de su hijo Alexis junto con Jessica la nueva prota quien es una princesa que escapa de su pais por el tiranismo que esta siendo infinjido, ES HERMOSA SU HISTORIA, como sus caminos se cruzan como Jessica se tuvo que hacer pasar por hombre, enfrentar las guerras y adversidades, me encanta como esta historia no perdio su esencia, el mundo de la historia como nos muestra como progreso desde "Luz y Sombra", aunque parezca mucha información siguen siento facil de leer y el dibujo 💖 GRACIAS ARTISTA POR EXISTIR. Claro al ser una historia continuación con diferentes protas, no quita el hecho que me emociono enormemente volver a ver a esos personajes porque ocuparon un lugar en mi cora. No recuerdo el titulo del 3er libro pero se trataba de la hija menor de Edna y Eli 🤔 haber que sale

man, i can’t believe it’s already been over two years since i started reading this… time sure goes by fast, haha. i’ve been following ‘golden time’ since the very first chapter was released (because light & shadow was, and still is, a favorite of mine), and i gotta say that this hasn’t been disappointing me at all. i’ve loved all the dynamics and emotional bonding between the characters, the overall character development, as well as the actual plot-progression, of course! the art’s freakin’ exquisite, too. i’m really looking forward to these two upcoming side-stories!

(yes, this review is embarrassingly short, i’m well aware, but i just wanted to say that i’ll 100% be back for the author’s next story—whatever it might be. i already know it’ll be quality content.)

Absolutely loved this sequel! The moment I realized this was the sequel to Light and Shadow, I jumped at the opportunity to read it! It's full of fun, laughter, and adventure with great struggles to overcome. And it's always a treat to come back to a story where you already know some of the great characters. This was basically the sequel I never knew I needed because I was convinced Light and Shadow was great on its own

Me pareció taaaaaaaaan largo el principio, sentía que no avanzaba hasta que los dos pudieron reencontrarse.

No creí que me gustaría tanto debebido a que Edna y Elis no serían tan relevantes, pero todo fue muy interesante y entretenido. La historia fue "realista" y desgarradora, el final fue satisfactorio.

PD: ¡Donde están los hermanos de Alex! Literalmente solo sale la hermanita menor ¿Y el otro?, creo que la autora los olvidó, ya que ni siquiera aparecen en eventos importantes o familiares.

Masih ongoing. Kalau membaca beberapa review tentang lanjutan dari manhwa Light & Shadow ini, katanya sih agak lambat progresnya, tapi karena masih belum tamat jadi ya mungkin saja review yang saya baca itu kurang tepat.

Kesan saya membacanya, tokohnya kuat! Baik itu sang FL ataupun ML. Tidak menye-menye. Khas banget ala Edna.

I get why some people consider this lacking compared to prequel.
It's because this sequel doesn't focus on the two leads in terms of romance, rather how they grew as people. They were both bound by responsibility and and the author did great in showing their development.

Light and Shadow, though a great read as well focused more on the romance aspect of the characters.

I love it!
I loved the first one and am so happy to get to read the second one! Edna is my favorite still, I loved seeing her and Eli again. But the Love story between 'Kenny' and Alex was so sweet! <3

Amé demasiado este manhwa. Llevaba dos años siguiéndolo y me alegra demasiado por fin leer el final, y que este haya sido feliz. Los amo con todo mi corazón, Alexis y Jessica ❤️❤️❤️

Al igual que la primera entrega, esta historia tiene excelentes personajes que atrapan y que te dan ganas de seguir leyendo hasta descubrir que hay detrás de cada una de sus historias. Además, seguimos viendo en acción a nuestros protas de la primera entrega que tanto nos enamoraron y como siguió su vida después de que lograron sus objetivos. Sigo pensando el arte del Manhwa es hermoso y que vale el tiempo leyendo y apreciando cada página. Recomendadísimos "Light & Shadow" y su continuación "Golden Time".
