hilariously outdated (there's a section on the merits of Olestra)

still, useful if you were just starting a walking program with a goal of improving your fitness or losing weight

motivated me to keep a more detailed exercise log

Was a very interesting read, especially since I am now trying to walk more because of my diabetes as well as to lose weight. I'm not sure I'll get quite into so detailed aspects of walking however. I would recommend this book for sure though.

Most of the books about walking are written for women and also put too much emphasis on dieting.
Liz instead focuses more on the walking and has tips and programs ideal for both men and women.
