Didn't read quite all of this but read most. It's a solid theological commentary on Ephesians from one of the premier Reformed (definitely his preferred moniker, over 'Calvinist') dogmatic theologians writing today. He's a self-avowed Reformed catholic, so he makes use of theologians from many different branches of our common faith.
The late John Webster had been assigned this volume, but Allen took up the task after Webster's untimely death. In my judgment, Allen did an admirable job--though he doesn't quite have Webster's gift for the felicitous phrase.
