Frosting Her Christmas Cookies

(Frost Brothers #3)

Dear Santa, I do not want a Frost brother for Christmas.

In fact I do not want anything for Christmas—no annoying Christmas carols, no holiday family drama, and no last-minute presents.

And I certainly don’t want to be a bachelorette in The Great Christmas Bake-Off. Yes in the spirit of holiday commercialism, the bake-off is also a date-off and Jonathan Frost is

Morticia DiRizzo is an artist trying to get accepted into a prestigious internship but in the mean time she needs money to get by. When she is asked to fill in as a contestant on a bachelor bake off cooking show she figures she will get voted out right away and have a chunk of change in her hand. Morticia though is wrong and Jonathan Frost interest in her is peaked.

Jonathan knows Morticia doesn't want to be there, he also knows she doesn't like him one bit. The surly woman has a gift though she

This is the first time I've read a book by Mrs. Jacobs and also the first book I've read in this series. I believe each and everyone of these books are standalones, so I don't think it really matter what order you read them in.

So I want to say lately or probably for the past year & a half, almost two years I've been reading darker books, academy/bully, reverse harem, and paranormal. So this was the first book in a long time that was light and righteously laugh out funny. I don't think I've laugh

I love this book just like I love all of her books. It was so great getting to know Morticia better, getting to see different sides of her. I can’t believe this Christmas bake off is still going on and now it’s kind of like the bachelor and Christmas bake off. The one thing that always gets on my nerves is how many times the mean girl does bad things to our heroine when cooking and no one sees it, it drives me crazy. I love Jonathan and I feel really bad for him because he really wants a relatio ...more

I love shenanigans and snarky misfit heroines, and I can work with man-child alphas who grow up by the end of the story. I like big books, not gonna lie. But I felt like there was a bit more book than this story really needed. All of it was entertaining and my sides still hurt from laughing so hard. I just would have preferred if there wasn’t quite so much to go through to get to the end. Like the previous pair of Frost brothers, this too is set against the backdrop of The Great Christmas Bake-O ...more

This a hilarious holiday romance. I literally couldn't put this one down. I mean it's got is off the wall crazy, but it so works. I laughed from start to finish. Reading this book just out me in a good mood. I loved Morticia. I want to be friends with her and her little group. Fun will be had. I mean she has a cat she takes everywhere. That is my kind of people. Plus Jonathan ends up getting a cat as well. For me that is swoon worthy material. Morticia and Jonathan are great. I loved th
Too much drama

< sigh > I really dislike leaving negative reviews, however, this book really bugged me. I wanted to like it. It had so many 5 stars ratings. Dating shows and Bridget Jones’ Diary knock off’s are one of my favorite tropes.

This book simply has too many things happening, it’s too much. Both Jonathan & Morticia are simultaneously lying & using each other and to themselves. Jonathan is too whiny & needy to believable as an alpha billionaire forging his own empire. The goth tragic arti

What a warm and funny holiday story. I enjoyed the fact that Moriticia is not a Christmas Fan and Jonathan seems to be one. There is a bake off with Jonahton being the prize and money. I laughed and thought the chemstry between the two was off the pages. The story flowed and it was easy to stay with it through the story. It was a please to read the plot was great and the characters made the book work. Now I need to go back and read the other books in the series. If they are like this book it wil ...more

The Great Christmas Bake-Off is back!!!

Remember Morticia from Harrogate? The goth Halloween lover who hates Christmas? If there was ever a Grinch, that would be her. Commisioned to decorate the Frost Tower for The Great Christmas Bake-Off, she finds herself a contenstant not only for the baking part, but as an eligible bachelorette for Jonathan Frost's heart as well!!!

Another laugh-out-loud installment in the Frost Brother saga (which is interconnected with Alina's other series), full of banter,

Good plot...

I wasn’t very excited for this one after being so disappointed with Eating Her Christmas Cookies. When Morticia was the main character, I wasn’t real sure. But I love a series and I had to finish. I really liked Morticia’s character. And I liked there was a plot that focused on their attraction to one another instead of the sex they were having.

The two things that could have been developed better: Jonathan and Holly. Holly and Morticia were best friends in the last book. How did shi

What happens when a Goth girl who looks forward to Halloween is made to join a Christmas bake off with a twist of bachelorette. You have a great story that you will not want to put down. The characters, Morticia and Jonathan are the complete opposite, he loves Christmas, she could let it pass. The banter is fun and lively, their attraction is hot and burns up the pages.

Will they find a Merry Christmas?

What a warm, funny storyline! I thoroughly enjoyed this witty, full of banter enemies to lovers romantic novel which was my 6th book from this talented author. There is nothing like a good laugh to get one out of a funk and let's face it, the world has little to smile about right now. Jonathan and Morticia couldn't be more different in their likes and priorities, yet their undeniable attraction gradually leads them into territories neither of them anticipated. As the story unfolded, it had becom ...more

What a great book

Oh my goodness, the people in this book were wild! Morticia and Jonathan were destined to be together but they didn't have bumps in the road, they had boulders. Morticia's family were completely crazy and Jonathan's parents were completely self centered. It was like watching the old Keystone Cops, it was great. Thanks for such a good book. Loved this story so much. I could not put it down or stop reading it. I laughed so much throughout it. The plot was very detailed and contained a lot of different characters. This is a third in a series but I didn’t feel like I needed to read the first two to understand what was going on. However after reading this I am looking forward to seeking out the first two and other works by the author. The main characters struggled with their own problems, recovering from events that have impacted them ...more

Cute, unexpected couple

My favorite of Alina Jacob’s books so far!

The story was cute, filled with steamy scenes, and strangely fun. I actually would have given it 5 stars if the cousin thing wasn’t sooo strange. It didn’t take away from the story, but made the resolution less romantic.... when you read it, you will understand!!
(I also would have liked an epilogue, but Alina gives us a follow up novella to get more of the couple!)

Welll, this title caught my attention. The cover didn’t do much for me, but the story inside, man, that was different! I’ve read reality tv show stories before and they were meh, I was pleased with this one! While some of the jokes and one liners were corny, I did have some laugh out loud moments! Morticia was a great character with a very impressive personality. I really enjoyed how the story played out!
I have never read this author before but she caught my attention!

Morticia DiRizzo hates Christmas and she has many good reasons. She is an artist, not quite starving, and she is trying to get an internship at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. When her temporary boss talks her in filling in for one night on The Great Christmas Bake-Off she only agrees, eventually because she can always use the extra cash. It's only one night after all, right? Jonathan Frost is the lucky billionaire bachelor who has agreed to participate on the bake-off/dating reality show to he ...more

Morticia DiRizzo Hates Christmas! She’s a goth girl and Halloween is her holiday! One of my all time favorite authors had done it again! I tell you - Jacobs can't do wrong. I well written romantic comedy that is funny and sweet and steamy all in one fantastic read with characters you love and some you love to hate. Morticia is a goth wearing Christmas hating character who is artistic and devoted to her friends, Jonathan is a rich billionaire, Frost brother and flirty playboy. These two find they need each other and while there are definitely sparks flying, both are deceiving ...more

Opposites attract

This book has a lovely heroine who has gothic style and awesome talents! Hero is a hot billionaire struggling with feeling accepted by his parents, he is actually humble, loving, sweet and sexy. It is true I love Alina’s books and am thrilled there is a possibility for more Frost brothers stories. All the feels🥰

Another great read from AlinJacobs

I enjoy reading these books, they make me smile, even laugh out loud ( which earns me a funny look from the other half). I like how all the previous characters have a part in the story it’s good to see what they’re up to too. Looking forward to the next book.

A truly enjoyable read that had me entertained from the beginning. I fell in love with the characters in this story. The supporting cast of characters added drama to their story and they had an amazing chemistry which bled through the pages.

I requested a copy of this book so I could provide an honest review.
This one is about Morticia, who we met briefly in book 2, and Jonathan, the third adult Frost brother.

This was my least favorite: lots of lies and deception... and no one has questioned how this show can coincidentally have relatives as contestants?

J is a jerk. M is goth and protests too much. Ugh.

Morticia has entered a baking competition - that is also a bachelorette style event with Jonathon as the prize. She needs the money - and although she hates Christmas, she aims to win.
Jonathon is trying hard to gain his father's approval, and finds that he might be able to use Morticia to finalise a deal which will increase his billions even more.
Morticia's cousins are both determined to win Jonathon's heart and hand - and will stoop to any level to do so.
Jonathon's business partners will stoop

Alina Jacobs weaves a holiday rom-com story that you won't be able to put down.
Morticia and Jonathan meet on a bake-off/dating show where neither really want to be. On paper these two are complete opposites. She is a gothic dressing struggling artist who is trying to get her dream job at a Museum, and he is a smart dressing billionaire business man. Yet despite their differences they share an undeniable connection and sizzling chemistry.
Their story which is riddled with humour, witty banter, s
