Fated Souls #2

Is it really considered kidnapping if I go willingly?
Asking for a friend.

If it were up to Christian, Athos, Nix, or Liam, their answer would be a resounding yes.
Yet it’s my fifth and final mate who steals me away—Kade. He’s the definition of bad boy, and he draws me in like no other with his dimpled smile and haunted eyes.

Kade yanks the veil away from my eyes, hinting at the intricate motivations of each of my fated mates, but my devious rogue isn’t just opening my eyes to them. He’s also unraveling the history of my ancestors and just what it means to be blessed by a goddess.

Unfortunately, each of my mates holds a hidden agenda that has nothing to do with me and everything to do with family ties, past rendezvous, and a secret that could destroy all of lycan kind. It shouldn’t bother me, really, I’m just the crazy blessed one they got stuck with.

All those secrets, and they still want me to submit to them, but I’ll make them kneel before their queen instead.

Honestly this entire series is SO DRAWN OUT it makes it so boring and long to read.
There’s rarely anything exciting happening so I’m slow to read it. Normally I can read 1 or 2 full books in a day but this series has just been a drag. Taken me over a week to finish 2 of the books. And fyi all of what happened in both of these book could have absolutely been put into 200 pages, no reason why I had to read 800 pages for the story lol

The plot has potential, it’s the execution for me.

Either way, Im glad to be done with the second book and will not be going to book 3 rn.
Don’t get me wrong, eventually I will probably read it. But I need a break from this series.

ARGH! And not in a pirate way. I'm so frustrated. What I thought would happen when I read the cliffhanger of Surrender occurred, and I'm not happy about it. I hate delayed gratification. I'm basically a human-cat --we human-cats don't do that.

Submission introduces mate número cinco. Kade isn't a full dozen doughnuts, and since Bean can't help but devour all the doughnuts she sees, she's a-okay with the whacked-out lycan. But with Kade comes a lesson in how the lycan world really works. That might be more than she is ready for, considering Bean becomes a vampire juice box on the first go. Kade might be crazy, but Sabina must be losing her mind. The Stockholm Syndrome she suffers has her wanting more of the danger that comes with the secrets of her new life.

My complaint is that one more mate means that there was a stagnancy in the relationships that were developing. And there was stagnancy with a character I want more of, dammit! Athos and Nix took a backseat to the Kade-centric storyline. And I really wanted to see Sabina grow more of a bond with them as a whole, and this book didn't work for me in this way.

I enjoy the POV of the mates, though. It is good seeing beyond Sabina's world, and I liked that there is a bigger picture beyond Bean and her guys' relationship. I have my suspicions about grandma, though--goddess save us all if I'm right.

I love this series. Kade, not so much. I like Sabina as the chaos agent, and I don't think we need another one. This still overall works for me. I want to buy the series in paperback to hug it and kiss it and praise it like it's my best friend.

I give it 8 of 5 stars for the fact Dakota is a girl-time-translator.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary advance copy of this book.

The Fated Souls series might have become my new favorite series. For sure, i love all the men in this harem.

So Submission picks up right where Surrender left off: Sabina meeting her fifth mate, Kade.

Which, hellllllllllo Kade 😍 between him and Liam, be still my freaking heart.

This book answers some questions from Surrender but it will still leave you with more. It also mixes up POVs and we get more of the guys perspective, which is amazing. I love that the cliffhangers keep you wanting to read the next book but not in a and anxiety-inducing “holy shit did someone die??” way. And i actually like that this is a slow burn series. Granted, there still are sex scenes are still scorching. But the characters also continue to build chemistry.

I am a total fan girl of Sabina. I said in my review of Surrender that i connect with her. She’s awkward, quirky, funny, and a foodie. I feel like i’m reading about my book-twin. And the guys, holy hot alphas.

Also, the pharmacy scene 🤣 this book/series is so entertaining. I highly recommend reading it!

NOOOOOO!

Why did it have to end there! I wasn't ready for that to be the last page! Now I have to wait for more pages which I will gladly do but I am like Kade with the no patience thing. Seriously this book just killed it. Loved every single word of it and can't wait for more.

This is a re-read review. A few pages in I realized I have already read it before however I didn't leave a review. And now I totally remember why. Here goes.

Read my review on first book.. I definitely love the 2nd book more due to it's more action-packed and Sabina is less annoying here though still annoying nonetheless.

🍩 Genre: Paranormal Romance Reverse Harem

🍩 Supernatural specific: lycans, mage, goddess & greekgods. Though it is described as All imaginable monsters exists. Though in this 2nd book there are lycan-mage hybrid, vampires, seer/healer(maybe), pixies too. Goddess Artemis, Selena, 3sister goddess called the Fates and another male god unknown appears in the story. Also an unknown horned god trying to re - repeat Zeus werewolves curse.

🍩 Setting: Human world who lives alongside these species. But unknown to the situation that monsters living among them.

🍩 Storyline rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

🍩 Storyline comments: I actually love the idea and storyline. It's unique enough compare to typical wolf shifters stories I've read before. I love that a lot of thought is put into the history and storyline and not just a smut fest. Though there is soo much unanswered questions from previous book (the dream where Sabina gets hurt in a dream the graze scar at the back of her neck and appeared in her body when she wakes up) is still unanswered.

🍩 History: men cursed to be wolves by the God Zeus. Meant to be werewolves however the curse was tweaked by Goddess Selene and instead of a cursed they became lycans instead. Gifted yet unbound by the full moon and set on mission to protect humankind.

However over the years the gods and goddesses have abandoned humankind and disappear from getting involved in their affairs with lesser and lesser humans worshipping the gods due to modernization. Future Lycans, born and not made. Means their bites can't turn other humans to werewolves.

They are supposed to procreate with other Lycan females to ensure the continuity of their species for the safety of the worlds.

Lycans Is so call the police of the supernatural kind. Goes on mission to kill rouges Supernatural that harms humankind's peaceful ignorance and lives. rogues vampires that so called massacre humans get killed by lycans..

rouge lycans are those who have killed and eaten a human, supposedly to be crazy insane and uncontrollable with bloodlust. Supposed to be killed and hunted down by the regular lycans.

At this point there are only male lycans as female lycans are hunted down since every Lycan packs that didn't have a female gets jealous and want to get the females for their own pack to be a broodmare.

Lycans can mate with other species however they are not supposed to have offspring.. Lycan-mage offspring is supposed to be an abomination since they possess both powers from both species.

Sabine's family all consist of females born is a bloodline blessed by Goddess Artemis. Means each of there bloodline is supposedly fated mates to supernatural and compatible for breeding Supernatural. Regular human women are not compatible for intimacy with Supernatural ( like Twilight Stefanie Meyer, supposedly human body cannot sustain the Force of having sex with a supernatural. They supposed to break.)

The human male husbands of grandmother's, aunts and mom so called died young. Reason being their downlines supposed to be fated mates of Supernatural species thus thoug they are able to marry human men and have daughters they are not meant to love these human men . Thus the men died in a way that allow them to free their souls as they are supposed mates of Supernatural.

🍩 Female Main Character: Sabine / Bean (24yo) Human

🍩 Male Main Character: Athos, Christian, Phoenix, (37-30yo) Lycans.. Liam (28yo) lycan-mage hybrid , Kade (77yo) rogue Lycan also estranged pack brother to the other 4. These 5 fated mate to Sabine.

🍩Sub characters: shadow (rival pack alpha also lycan-mage hybrid) , Donovan & Connor (light mage twins also fated mates to Sabina's cousin pepper) pepper (Sabina's female cousin, human ) ash (Sabina's female cousin, in the military under supernatural division, humans military group who are aware of the supernatural), Nessa ( probably seer, gets dreams and premonition, behaves like a yoga meditation guru)

🍩 Characters rating: ⭐⭐⭐

🍩 Favourite character: surprisingly I love all the sub-charaters. ⭐⭐ Two stars for them. If I really have to pick favourite: Kade⭐ . Is my favourite main character.

🍩 FMC Character critics : If u read my review for the first book u wold know I totally hate Sabina.. though I appreciate the author has tamed down her annoyingness in this book. I still hate her though..her focus is still all over the place. And I still have problems with her priorities. I have rants on her stupidity in the first book review and u know what I don't even have the effort to comment on her attitude in this book now. My comments on her from the previous book (copied below) still stands.

"At this point I didn't know how many times I roll my eyes annoyed with her behaviour.. really she's supposed to be 24yo and a teacher.. but I can't decide if she's dumb, immature, naive or just certifiably insane.. no normal human would act like her.. okay, when in danger, we panic, we worry.. our mind goes a mild a minute, we get chased by a wolf and supposed to run for our lives the last thing on our mind would be desserts.. I mean it's not even sustanance food meant for survival.. I don't even know if she's supposedly meant to be portrayed that's she's brave or a coward with how she handles her situation all I see is deflection.."

🍩 MMC character critics: I totally had a disconnect with the 'heros' in this book.. For me I find myself as someone with a great imagination.. usually when I read something in my mind I can pun an image of the character. Even if there is lots of characters in the book I can imagine how they would look like. Even is the author are new writer or not good at description. (But the male characters in here, I cant whenever I imagine them.) Whenever I tried all I see is Athos: Faceless man with manbun hair. Liam: A faceless male body wearing Hawaiian shirt. Christian: faceless male in a police uniform. U get the idea.. I can't put a face to this character, is their jaw squarish? Their nose? Their eyebrows? Gahh I can't.. I dunno if I'm not interested in the character enough to care or I just skimmed over the details or the author didn't described them enough. Even then I love that they are different individuals and their behaviour or lack there of defer from one another..

🍩 Romance rating: ⭐ 1 star .

🍩 Romance critics: I'm sorry I don't even find this romantic at all.. okay I'll explain.. some shifter mates books have insta-lust just because the universe says they are mates and they just get horny instantly with each other.. I hate that but to me atleast it's something.. in my opinion for this story bean and the guys don't even have that.. There is no romance, the is no love build up.. there is not even insta-lust .. there is only a burning ache need to fuck but has nothing to do with attraction towards the female. Dont get me wrong, the author did described how incredibly sexy the males are to her.. but not once described how sexy she is to them.. there is not even a description of how sexy her lips look to them or whatever.. or how her hair flowss or how the whole world disappear and they can only see her.. u know those moments where only she exists.. there's nothing like that in this story.

🍩 Sex scenes: 2/3 scenes

🍩 Sexy smut scene star: ⭐ 1 star, sorry not explosive enough for my liking.

🍩 Cliffhanger: Yes

🍩 Will I read the 3rd book or abandoned this series: I love the story line enough to continue.. however with the disconnect and how unromantic everything is I don't know how long I will last though at this point I'm only going further into the series because of the unique back story and how I want to find out what happened and how the mystery unravels.. I don't hold much hope on the romances the relationship building between them and things like that.. honestly I'm quite disappointed.. I would categories this as a paranormal mystery rather than a paranormal reverse harem romance.

Overall good

I really liked the first book, even though there were a few things that were irritating. This book moves along the storyline, somewhat, buts it’s super confusing. There’s so many groups moving here and there and the internal sense of the book contradicts itself in places (or at least seems to do so). The blurb made it sound like Sabina would get a look into the hidden motivations of the guys, but in reality, that’s not strictly true. The reader certainly gets a lot of info, but that information is confusing and is not shared with the FMC. At the end, she does have more info, but not enough as she should.

There are two main issues that cause this book to falter:. 1) faults cohesive world-building; 2) the lack of time markers, and 3) lack of consistency in details.

The world the author builds in book one is fairly cohesive and it makes sense in context, although it certainly lacks a lot of details. The world of the lycans is fairly well described, if not simply, but it’s enough. However, this book attempts to complicate and undermine both the reader’s understanding as well as the FMC’s, and to some extent the MMC’s as well. The problem is that it doesn’t make much sense. The overall structure is re-explained in this book, but the FMC and others keep interrupting and at the end, it’s so confusing to have more than one group in the hierarchy called elders. At the end of the book, I’m still confused. The first book tells us that lycans were isolated from each other, hunted (by whom? 🤷‍♀️) and only recently found safe places. Is that all of them? Only some of them? The world of the lycans is much cloudier and more confusing by the end of this book. Is it intentional? 🤷‍♀️

There’s also a lack of enough time markers to make sense of when things are happening. I have no idea how long it took in internal chronology to get from the beginning to the end, but I think it was maybe like 3 days? But even smaller bits of time are confusing- how did character A get to this place? At what point did they get there? There are a lot of secondary characters, and they seem to pop up without much explanation. How long does this battle take? How long did they drive for? There’s so much coming and going, it’s confusing to follow.

Last, there are details that don’t make sense. In the first book, it clearly states that Sabina is 5’4, which is actually the average height of American women. Later it says she’s 5’. Either way, she wouldn’t need a booster seat to drive most vehicles. Now we get confusing descriptions of characters ages, plus the general lack of knowledge that the MMCs have about the human world. They have a duty to protect it, and they’ve lived among them, even, the have access to the internet and technology, but none of them know what a period is? That seems a little OTT. It was a funny scene, but it just didn’t ring true.

Overall, I think the author tried to do too much with too many characters. There are other issues I had with characters, but I’m reserving judgment because I think they might be issues that are addressed as the plot progresses.

Tl;Dr: a somewhat messy and confusing second installment, but it moves the plot along enough that I will read the third book, in hopes that some of these issues will be tidied up there.

RH MMMMM/Shifters,Fae, Gods & Goddesses/Fated Mates

SYNOPSIS (of Books 1-4): The story is set in a word where shifters live side by side with humans but humans are unaware. The FC, Sabine or Bean, goes to her father‘s cabin in the woods to scatter his ashes and find out who murdered him. She meets her fated mates and discovers that shifters, Gods and Magic exist. The story covers how the FC learns who she is and the reality of the world she lives in as well as getting to know her fated mates and find out who killed her father. This is against a backdrop of the shifter council trying to make some fundamental changes to how they rule. There are Gods and Goddesses involved and a small amount of angst. There are currently about 10 plus books in this series but they are broken down into different characters but all from the same family. The first 4 books are about Sabine.

🌶️🌶️🌶️/🍆🍆🍆 - there are quite a few sex scenes and they are well written and hot but not OTT and relatively vanilla

A lot of reviewers have given this book a low rating and whilst I agree with some of the comments I think that this book had a decent story and a likeable (but quirky) FC. I agree that there are a lot of typo and editing issues and parts where a sentence or paragraph just doesn‘t make sense, it‘s like the author changed something somewhere and forgot to make the consequential changes or just failed to read over what she had written. This does detract from the story and is very annoying.

I still gave this book a 4 as I liked the quirkiness of the FC and the plot started off well. Unfortunately as the story (and Books) progress there are real holes in the story and parts that make no sense. I also felt that the climax, as seems to be the case with a lot of books that have a big build up, just didn‘t deliver and the villains did not get what was coming to them. I find it irritating when authors introduce powerful beings such as Gods but then ignore the fact that in reality that being could just kill or punish those that have done wrong and end all the issues that the FC is suffering. That is the case here.

The FC, as mentioned, is quirky and talks to herself a lot. Some of it I found quite funny. There is the issue of her constantly wanting to eat snacks and being hungry which is never explained and there is limited backstory regarding the MCs or the world they live in. The relationships are all insta as this is fated mates and there is no real character development.

On the whole I found the Books enjoyable but too many issues with the storyline and the lack of closure for me to continue on. I‘m also not a fan of Gods or Goddesses in stories.

Has potential but scattered

I struggled to finish this book though I do think the writing has potential. It seemed like the author didn't write the backstory for the main characters until after finishing book 1 because there were a lot of inconsistencies and incongruous details between book 1 and 2. Also, I do love a good mystery but a bunch of secrets and mysteries can't be confused with plot and character development. I think part of the problem was that there were no hints dropped to any of these secrets in the first book so they seem to come out of nowhere and very conveniently in book 2. We spent this book being frustrated and mystified because there was no natural logical conclusions that could be drawn from the information we were given. The secrets make the plot and characters also seem scattered and it makes me feel disconnected and not invested enough in them to continue the series. It may have worked better if the story had started before the dad died so we got to know the characters, the world, and the intrigues first so it wouldn't be so confusing and jumbled. I love a good twisty turnt plot but it only works if you feel invested and connected to the character, their potential, and what motivates them...I don't feel like I have any of that info on these characters.

It probably doesn't help that I find the H increasingly annoying, ditzy, and whiny. She can't seem to stay focused on anything and she is slow to put 2 and 2 together sometimes and other times makes crazy logical leaps that don't make sense. And she has way too many convenient skills and knowledge that pop up at just the right time that were never mentioned before. The glib "I took an extra college class on it bc it was cool" will only fly so many times. Maybe more flashbacks with her dad growing up and telling her stories would have made these random skills more believable.

Woah, buddy. This story has certainly changed quite a bit from the first book, and I love the route that the author is taking with the storyline. I don't think there was a minute of this book when I wasn't fully invested in the plot and what was happening in the story. Even the little parts that may have seemed insignificant at the time end up meaning something later on. If you're wanting a story that allows you to play detective a bit and make guesses while reading, this is a perfect one for that. I have to admit though, a lot of the plot twists I never even saw coming at the time. Some were predictable but others came from way so far right field that I was in shock when they were revealed. I think one of the biggest surprises for me this time around was Kade and how much I actually ended up liking him as a character. For someone supposedly crazy with bloodlust, he's a pretty alright guy, eccentric, but overall more mentally stable than first believed. The tipping point for me with him was how he was able to push Sabina, preparing her for the life of a shifter so she wouldn't be the weakest link and susceptible to harm. Instead of hiding her away, he is giving her the means to protect and educate herself about their world, keeping her safe in a whole other way.  However, people and things are much more than they seem in this story and everyone seems to have a different agenda as well as many hidden secrets. I'm pretty excited to see how everything plays out when each coveted secret is shared with the group and how they all handle it. Will they be considered a benefit, hidden without a reason to worry, or will they cause distrust between the group, in turn weakening them when they need to be at their strongest? But the most important question...will Nix ever get his Netflix and chill. The poor guy has been waiting forever.

This was a solid read! I’m really enjoying these characters, even when the plot got a little twisted for me. There were just a lot of questions constantly popping up and totally a me thing, but I started getting confused some by the end.

I like the guys. They’re all distinct enough, and the addition of Kade was interesting. I like that he came in at the end of the last book. Not a fan of when the guys have a romantic connection before they do with the FMC, so I didn’t totally love that aspect. I would’ve much rather have seen their relationship unravel on page. The addition of Kade also kind of threw some of the other relationships to the back. We don’t see much of Athos or Nix in this one.

Sabina is a great FMC, i feel like she has solid reactions to things. I am interested in the whole gods and goddesses storyline. Not sure where it’s all going.

I do hope in the next books we get to see their relationships unravel more past the external plot, and feel the guys falling for her as more than just their fated mate. Especially with Christian and Kade, since they’re each other’s chosen mate. In stories like these, I always want to feel like the mates love the FMC for who she truly is, and not just as being their mate. It’s been a solid start so far! I also love her family.

My oh my!

Who would have thought that Kade's POV was exactly what hit the spot at the end.

I enjoyed this book more than the first book in the series. The story is still mainly told in Sabina's POV with a sprinkle of parts told by her mates that we had met in the 1st book of the series. The real game changer of this book is Kade. I was an unsuspecting reader ready to hate Kade as he kidnapped Bean at the start of the book but I started to fall for him and hyped up his redemption. Now I question have I misplaced my hype.

Who would have though periods were such novel things.

As per usual, Liam is an absolute sweetheart that makes me melt whenever he says anything. I enjoyed that Nix has started to come out his shell and we are able to see him become a stronger character whilst Christian and Athos took a back seat.

Would have read this faster if not for family requiring attention during the holidays...

Much better than the first if only because it’s developing andI feel like we’re moving past the trademark behaviour of the FMC in RH books.

This book does not unravel like you’d expect, thank goddess. You think it’s going to be a week with Kade and little side quests of crazy. Wrong! That plans derailed by day two and it’s one chapter after another of these characters challenging each other and fighting the baddies and getting answers and more questions. Run on sentence. I don’t care. It was good which is nice because usually by a sequel my interest starts to wane. Now Im sitting here on Christmas wishing the third book was out today instead of in 4 days.

Instead of reading it I need to hunt down a semi decent book on Unlimited that won’t fry my brain cells or call question to my sanity.

Okay so apparently I'm done the book? 😅😅 I wasn't paying attention to how far I was and then my kindle is telling me it's over.

Honestly I am so enjoying this series. I hope we keep this energy up throughout the next books because I hate multi book series when the plot and development teeter out or you get a bunch of filler books.

I fucking love Sabina. She's snarky and awkward and hilarious. It is such a fun time to be in her head going through this series. I love her no holds back. Even if she is a fated mate she doesn't let that become her whole personality which is fantastic.

We do need some more smut though! She needs to get on mating with more of her mates. I need a Kade/Christian/Sabine sandwich. I need to see how much of a Daddy that Athos can be. And Nix. I love his nerdy little selfs.

I don't understand all of what's happening with fates and time and everything else but I think I get the jist of it! Lol. Hopefully it'll make more sense as we uncover more.

Paranormal urban fantasy

No plot spoilers
No real potential triggers
There is copious amounts of swearing.
The characterisation is okay, enough to draw you in and keep you there.
There are a few grammatical errors that irritated but not enough to detract from the storyline, however the sentence structure is a little clumsy which can make you have to read it through again (& mentally restructure)
I didn't enjoy the FL Sabina as much this time, a lot of her snarky comments were missing, but, we got a much more in depth peek into the male characters making them feel more alive and less of the fated mate angle.
The book reveals more about the events going on around them which is a hell of a leap forward from the first book.
There are a few sex scenes and plenty of swearing. I will be purchasing the next book in this series.

A BIG NO

DNF 29%
I rarely give up on a book but this one is certainly one of the worse I ever read. I respect totally the work of the author but this is not possible (for me).
The FMC, Sabina is just a childish "damsel in distress", weak, submitted like a brainless puppy to her guys, and hasn't any personnality...well, you've understood my point.
About the guys, it's even worse. Two are toxic people, they manipulated her, put her in danger just "for her own sake" and didn't respect her. They all lied to her, refused to answer to her questions, and are jealous prick. ψ( ` ∇ ´ )ψ
The plot is ununderstandable, nothing goes ahead in this book, just more and more secrets which make us dislike more and more all the characters.
Well, sorry but not sorry, this story definitely not for me ┐( ˘_˘ )┌

AGH!! There is a yet unfinished Book 3! I despise cliffhangers! Nonetheless, here we are. Fated to five lycan mates. One who appears to be older and nearly insane maybe from the taste of human flesh causing him to be cast out of the pack and go rogue. The other four a sub-pack within the pack all good friends and alphas in their own way. Having unique personalities and flaws that keep them bound with acceptance from their pack brothers.
Sabina has her own pack in a way with her cousins who are a diverse as the guys. Pepper, Ash and Nessa (not a cousin, just a hippie bestie) all have their quirks and help Sabina make it through her trials and tribulations. Not to mention her Irish twin neighbors who run the local bar. And never forget her pirate grandmother Mary.

Excellent story. A rogue wolf that was supposed to have been killed a year ago, comes back. He talks Sabina into leaving the safety of her cousins and mates. His name is Kade and he once was part of the sub pack with Althos, Nix, Liam, and Christian. He shows Sabina a different way to live so that she will not get killed like the other female mates were.
There is still the mystery of who killed Sabina's father plus other mysteries that have to be solved. Sabina is realizing that she wants to learn how to protect herself and her mates. So many twists and turns involved in the story.

Fantastic.

This is book two in the Fated Souls series and I loved it just as much as the first . Once again I was completely hooked start to finish. I loved the characters and the continued world building. We get introduced to mate number five .Sabrina continues to grow as she gets introduced to more of the supernatural world and the bonds with her other mates slowly continues to grow even though there is still many things still go discover. Sabrina is such a strong and sassy character. The story has lots of suspense and steam. I love that sometimes the story is from one the guys point of view. Looking forward to reading book three.

Love it but slightly Conflicted

I love this series and I can’t wait for the next book but there’s just one part that annoys me so much. Sabina keeps talking about how she wants to be an equal and Kade just fully ignores that and pulls the strings to suit his purposes with basically no regard for how it affects other in his mating group. I want to like him but every time he pulls his I know better routine it just makes me mad. He doesn’t seem to care about how his actions affect others and just solely is focused on his end goal to take down the council.

I need more

First off, holy cliffhanger. I’m not one to start series if all books aren’t already out, or almost all out. But the description of the first book reeled me in. I am in love with Sabina (Bean)’s character. I am a little sad that while I did get glimpses into the men’s lives, I didn’t get a whole lot of relationship development between a couple of them. Hoping the next book will satisfy that need. The story line, is insane and kept me in my toes. 5/5 stars for the fact that I couldn’t put this book down today.

Need More Funny

XXX! ADULT CONTENT, READER DISCRETION ADVISED. Okay, seriously what happened to all the funny. You brought it back in the last four chapters. It is seriously missing in the rest of the book. Bring back Beans snarkiness. Made gets fun at the very end. He is just punchable in the beginning.

This is still a fun series. Sabina meeting her final mate. Artie, the goddess in her head that occasionally takes over. Athos, Christian, Liam and Nix scrabbling to keep up. Who has money that Artimas is Mary?

Holy Cliffhanger Batman!

I have read books that pull you in and chew you up and keep you on that emotional roller coaster and then spits you out at the end... Elle Lincoln does not do that you in her books. No. Elle's books pull you in and chew you up but she doesn't spit you out... she just keeps on chewing and you stay on your toes anxiously waiting to read the next book! Good thing book 3 is out because I have quite literally been sucked into this world and I need answers!!!

This was good - maybe even slightly better than book 1. We earn more about Sabina’s bloodline and a bit more about each of the guys stories. It’s not fast moving but enough action to keep the story flowing. There are times I question Sabina’s age due to her immaturity but I quickly move on and hope that the moments where she shows her strength and ‘badass’ side become a permanent fixture.
Kade features more than the others here which is a slight disappointment as I would like to know Nix and Athos more. Onto book 3 which I hope brings more answers and a much stronger more mature Sabina.

Sexy, funny and action packed!

I stumbled on this series when looking for a new obsession, and boy did I find it! The author intricately weaves in humor and badassery throughout the series. I am enthralled and about to read more of her books. I don’t really write reviews unless I am completely full of pixie love for an author. So Ell has joined the few. Good job and keep writing!

Wow this book like the last is full of action throughout such a great storyline.
We get to see the characters grow even more plus we get to meet and understand Kade abit more but still not fully by the end of the book. With that crazy cliffhanger ending. In this book we also get to see her gain another mate fully with such a steamy scene with has a little m/m action in the background.
Can't wait for the next book

Submission is book two of the Fated Souls series and it picks up where book one Surrender left off. Sabina meets her fifth mate and boy does he reveal a lot. She finds out more about her family and past and finds out the intentions of her four other mates. Loved the tampon scene and it had me laughing out loud. This is a great addition to the series and I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
