Okay, so I know it goes without saying but, it’s my thing so … gaaaaaaah, I love this cover #winning I’ve actually seen this cover before, but not with these vibrant colors! This is how it was meant to be showcased! Well done!

Lola West just keeps on giving! You guys, Jamison and Cody are outstanding * happy sigh* people and their journey was just … *heart eyes* Not gonna lie to you, I cried a little with this one because it was so touching at times. I mean it is a romantic comedy, but it’s real and relatable and real life is not a constant rom-com so this was just perfect. Lola just knows how to pack a punch with little to no angst. I just love getting lost in one of her stories! They are always full of heart and hope and easy-breezy! They are the perfect escape at any time of the day! Add little James to the mix and oh my heart!!

I’ve mentioned this before but let’s repeat for those in the back :) I have enjoyed Lola West immensely this year and I hope she continues blessing us with her word wizardry forever and ever, Amen!

Lola has once again given me a couple that I couldn't help but fall in love with and enjoy the ride. Cody and Jamison have an instant attraction. The cowboy and the wild child burned hot and fast. We then see James go back to her world but never forgot that handsome man and Cody was left thinking about her. Now she has arrived back in his town and she is not alone! Get ready for some swooning and courting!
This was filled with fun, lust, wonderful witty banter, angst and sizzle! They were surrounded by so much family, love and chemistry. Great this series!

Romance/RomCom

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Lola West is a smart, savvy author who writes incredibly badass characters. Her books are quick and easy reads, with stories that make you laugh, sigh, and cry. This book is the next installment in her Big Sky Cowboy series.

“And he was gorgeous, like ache-in-your-loins-full-lips-blond-hair-gray-eyes-chiseled-jaw-bite-your-bottom-lip-and-groan-out-loud gorgeous.”

This book made me cry like the complete sucker for a fantastic rom-com that I am.

We meet another Morgan, Cody, this time, as he meets party girl Jameson at a rodeo Sarah is performing at. They have a whirlwind night together, then Jameson drops Cody off and drives away. One night together, and that is that. Tied neatly with a bow. Until Jameson shows up in Conway almost three years later, will love be the answer? Is forgiveness an option?

I loved this one. As always, Lola writes such strong female characters, and Jameson is no exception. She is beautiful, witty, confident, and a total badass. I appreciate how Lola brings her male characters to life and how they are seriously the perfect men. Respectful, sexy, naughty, chivalrous, smart, hardworking, and looking for their equal.

This installment in the Big Sky Cowboy series is such a beautifully unconventional love story. We see how powerful a choice can be. We see how scary and beautiful vulnerability can be. We see how evident to everyone except ourselves, just how true love can be.

The Morgan clan is full of hardworking, big loving people, and in this sweet book, the family just continues to grow. I would love to see Papa Morgan find his second chance at love, simply because he is an incredible character and an amazing grandpa and loving father. He deserves to be stupid in love, happy, again.

I spent the final chapters of this book crying. Because it is so damn beautiful. Lola West has such a brilliant gift for bringing the full spectrum of emotion into her writing. We aren’t just getting great steamy scenes. We are getting the total package. The good, the bad, and the sexy. This is another delicious gift from the always brilliant Lola West, and I am already waiting for the next one.

Forever? Forever. *cue tears*

OK so I’m so in love with these characters it's not even funny. I absolutely love Lola West. In these 4 short stories she managed to make me fall in love with this small town and Morgan family.

I like Cody since the first book. His funny ways and a big heart made him irresistible so I could understand Jamison for falling for him. The plot was light on drama (but it's still more dramatic than the rest of the books), filled with funny banter and a whole lot of love between family.

After finishing this I see there will be more to read in this series and I couldn’t be more happy about that.

Jamison and Cody had a passionate night together that left them with a son that Cody doesn’t know about. Now four years later, Jamison is back in the small town and she knows that Cody needs to know that Flynn is his son.

I loved the story, even though I’m not a big fan of secret pregnancy and the parent hiding their baby from the other one, this one really interested me. It was a cute, full of sweet and adorable moments book.

I really can't get enough of this series. This might be the heaviest of the books, plot subject wise to date and I was living for the angst. I really was. I had to nudge a little of my usual five star rating for the books in this series, because Jamie did my boy Cody a lil dirty...but I still love each and every character and new addition to this series with my whole heart and soul. I stan the Big Sky Cowboys and you can't tell me nothin'. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this and all opinions are my own.

Sweet romance

Wild Child is now my favourite book so far in the Big Sky Boys series!

Although a quick read, it doesn't skimp on the feels. I spent a majority of it wearing my "silly reader's grin", laughed out loud at some of the humour, and felt Cody's pain.

Well written with plenty of steam and humour (and a dash of angst) I enjoyed the sweetness of the story, and I'm looking forward to Wyatt's book. ❤

This book was so great. At first I didn’t think it was going to go the way it did.

I’m a sucker for these kinds of stories.

It was great getting to know Cody especially after reading Sarah’s story.

I loved these two. Especially after seeing each other again.

Yes you can fall for someone immediately. Yes love can game your wild heart. Yes all your dreams can come true. This is what this story tells you.

Can’t wait for Wyatt’s book. I love the Morgan’s.

Cody and James gets 💛💙💛💙💛

Book 4 in the Big Sky Cowboys series and it was so good. A great second chance/secret baby romance. Loved Cody and Jamison. They were so good together. They met 3 years ago at his sister’s concert and they spent one steamy night. They parted ways and never saw each other again. Fast forward 3 years later and she is back in his life with a secret. Quick steamy read that will leave you wanting more of the them and the entire Morgan family. Loved it and can’t wait for Wyatt’s story. So glad that I found this author. Loving her work.

description

The moment Jamieson and Cody met, there was definitely something in the air, a hint of wildness, mixed with a strong chemistry turning into a night they would remember all their lives.
If you haven’t met the Morgans, you'd totally fall in love with this family, a little noisy but always with the best interests at heart. They endured a lot and the whole family brought emotional times and so many laughs, sassiness and also knowing how to make the other face the truth.
Back to the main characters, Cody is not a guy to commit and Jamieson is also no string attached.
When these two wild spirits meet, they melt perfectly and knowing that they had only one night, well, you did things differently. They seized their chance, trusting their instincts and enjoying that moment to the fullest. But when this incredible moment ended, the magic faded but developed something more, as crazy as it was. Their instant connection was powerful and many years later, it never faded.
This experience was going to be a tough one, making Cody to step out of his comfort zone, to finally open his heart and face his own fears and insecurities. I could understand Jamieson’s reasons even if it frustrated me little but knowing they had to face it together, to build something together, as partners not as strangers.
There were so many feels in here, one moment heavier and darker, the other more lighthearted.
I adored how the Morgans were once more involved, loving and caring, in the forefront of Cody and Jamieson’s story but never overshadowing. It melted just perfectly.
It was for sure a challenging time for these two and their little boy, the good, the bad and all the things in between.
The author brought the big guns in this story, spanning a wide range of emotions as the main characters finally finding their way into their happily ever after. Damn, it was so well-written, gut-wrenching but also bringing so much joy and humour.
Can’t wait to read the next story!

Who doesn’t love a hot sexy cowboy with a great big, generous heart? Cody is just a dream of a guy with one little flaw....he is a commitment-phobe. But James (Jamison) wasn’t looking for more than one night with anyone when she met Cody. She is the daughter of uber-wealthy parents, who give her everything but their time and affection. Her need to be wanted, to be seen by any and everyone has made her into a wild child....partying, flaunting her wealth and her body. Cody was the sexy cowboy she noticed at a rodeo venue and couldn’t help but try to seduce him. For his part, Cody was more than willing to be seduced by beautiful, forthright James. They shared one very unforgettable night together, then parted. But James was left with an adorable souvenir from that beautiful, passionate night with handsome cowboy Cody.... a son she named Flynn.

Fast forward three plus years and little Flynn is asking questions about his daddy. James decides to track Cody down to his home in Montana in order to see what type of guy he is now, and his life situation.....whether he is attached to someone else or single. She knows she should have tried to contact him and let him know she was pregnant, but she feared he would not have wanted the baby or her, or would have wanted to take the baby from her. Growing up with so little personal affection, she just wanted her son to herself, a person who would love her unconditionally and whom she could shower with her love. Wouldn’t you know it, the first person her son meets in Montana is Cody, his daddy, though neither are aware of it. The moment Cade and James see each other again, body chemistry and attraction take over. The connection they felt on that one shared night is reestablished in a heartbeat. Cody hasn’t forgotten James in the years since they parted, and really wants to take the time to get to know her better while she is Montana on vacation (her excuse for her sudden appearance) and her little boy is not a deterrent to that. Her decision to wait before telling Cody he is little Flynn’s father could well come back to ruin everything between them. This time their hearts and the heart of a tiny boy are at stake. What happens next?

• Read this book here. Read this book there. Read this book everywhere. This world is full of so
. much strife, You need to get this book in your life. *

Seriously, this addition to the Big Sky Cowboys series by Lola West is wonderful in so many ways. Cody and Jameson are both just looking for a good time when they hook up at a concert. Since the book is advertised as a ‘Secret Baby’ story, I’m not divulging a spoiler when I say that she ends up pregnant and doesn’t get in touch with him to let him know. She has her reasons, but as her son is reaching towards his third birthday, Jameson’s guilt about not letting Cody know becomes overwhelming and she decides she has to go to him and introduce him to his son.

I freely confess that I cried more than once reading this book. The backgrounds and emotions of the main characters are authentic and powerful. And the chemistry between them … get a fire extinguisher! Flynn, their son, is so important to the story that he’s really a third main character, and he is absolutely adorable.

If you read the other books in the series you’ll be happy to see those characters appear in this one, but if you haven’t read them yet don’t worry, you will still enjoy this book. (I have to mention that the character of Horse, who was in ‘Imperfect Harmony’, melted my heart again in this book). As this story winds its way down to the end, as you’re reading you know there’s going to be a big reveal, and it is anxiety inducing to wait for it. Rest assured, the fantastic epilogue makes it all worthwhile. Love Wins!

4.5 Star Review of Wild Child (Big Sky Cowboys #3) by Lola West

Although book four in the series, you do not need to have read the previous books in the series to enjoy Wild Child. All it takes it one night to chance a life forever. That is the position that Jamison (Jamie) Hildebrand and Cody Morgan find themselves after a night of passion leads to a whole lot more.

Neither Jamie or Cody were looking for anything more than a one night stand but fate often plays tricks with people and that is what happens. Fast forward a number of years and imagine Cody’s surprise when a toddler sits down next to him in his hometown diner and he learns that Jamie has a son.

Secret’s have a way of coming out and Wild Child is a story of love, acceptance and family, there is some angst and drama as you would expect when secrets are revealed. I really liked Jamie, she is strong, feisty and confident and determined to make it on her own. Whilst Cody was totally swoon worthy, I felt for him when all was revealed. Can he forgive Jamie? Or are they destined to remain apart forever?

It was wonderful to see the other Morgan’s and catch up with what is happening in their lives. Wild Child was another entertaining story to and a great addition to the series.

Wild Child is a stand-alone story. Having said that, go back and start at the beginning of Lola West’s Big Sky series. It makes each subsequent book in the series that much better. You get little tidbits of updates about each couple, which is lovely. Plus you appreciate just how unique Lola makes each story. It’s impressive.

This romance starts a$$ backwards...the fun times happen quickly and then the story is almost like a slow burn in reverse. Jamison, our heroine, is not my typical favorite type of heroine. But she turns into one. Cody is my kind of hero. And he stays that way. Both of them have demons to fight. Jamison’s are out there front and center and she’s honest about them, then she isn’t. Cody’s aren’t and he buries them. But they don’t stay that way. Then there is little Flynn, their child. The elephant in the room, so to speak.

This may seem like it’s going to be a high flyin, sexy romp, after all, a child is born so there was some kind of fun to be had, but remember I told you...slow burn in reverse. It’s a unique thing in a romance and you should take advantage and read it for yourself.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. This is my honest review.

Oh Wow what a fantastic read,I thoroughly enjoyed reading every single part of it.
A Gorgeous Romcom that made me Laugh, cry and swoon.
Cody Morgan is a bit of a player not really wanting a relationship just fun, which he finds in the form of Jamison. One night of Blissful passion and they part ways, but that night is unforgettable and ignites something in them both.
But it is 3 years until they meet again but Jamison is not alone she has a son.!..so they both now have an even bigger connection to eachother than before, and this is were everything gets very interesting.
But can true Love prevail or is the deception going to be their downfall.
Lola West has written a beautiful story and it filled my heart with laughter and delight I loved seeing how the characters grew.
I loved the way they were with one another and they stole my heart, the whole book was so easy to get lost in.This is my first book from Lola West and it will not be the last as I thought it was incedible,I was totally captivated.
An emotional and feel good read.
I Highly Recommend it.

I'm not a reviewer that hashes out the plot, if you're reading the reviews you know what it's about. I'll tell you what I look for in a review - what I liked (and didn't) about the book. I absolutely LOVE this series and this book was as good as the rest. As usual, Lola West has hit all the marks for me. I laughed, teared up, smiled, then cried (I'm not usually a crier). My heart broke and then mended at the appropriate parts. The characters are well developed (usually fun and sassy), the dialog is intelligent (I can't stand stilted conversations), and the pace is great (no lagging or lulls). Lola West is quickly becoming a favorite. Don't miss this one.

Jamison is a wild card. Her rich parent had never cared for her and she is so used to be by herself that she doesn’t know how to love. A wild night with handsome cowboy Cody will changer her life for ver. Will she be brave enough to find him three years after their adventure? Will Cody really his heart to love when Jamison is back in his love again? You will laugh, cry and fall in love with Jamison and Cody’s story

4.5 Stars for Wild Child
This book is a bit different to previous books in the Big Sky Cowboys Series, Wild Child is still a romantic comedy but it has more drama and angst than the previous but that being said it’s still a very entertaining read.
It was only meant to be one night of fun for Cody Morgan and Jamison (Jamie) Hildebrand because this cowboy is not ready to settle down, he keeps his heart under lock and key and Jamie is only looking for some fun but little did they know that night was going to turn their worlds upside down.
If you love rom-coms and second chance romance Wild a child should certainly be on your list of books to read. This book ticked my boxes, I laughed, I swooned, I smiled and I shed a tear as I joined Cody and Jamie on their journey of a second chance at love, problem is will the secret Jamie kept make or break this couple.....
Great addition to the series but I believe this book can certainly be read as a stand-alone.

Really continue to enjoy the Morgan family stories. Cody shares the middle child role with his twin sister. He loves his family and his life as a cowboy at his family’s farm but has no plans to have a family of his own. While visiting his sister on tour, he meets Jamison. Jamison has everything she could possibly want, except for parents that pay attention and act like a family. They share an amazing connection on the night they meet but neither can image anything more. Turns out they don’t have to imagine more since they now have a more permanent connection. Loved watching them connect and work through the fears and feelings.

The Morgan family is amazing...love them. Jamison and Cody are instantly attracted to each other but feel they can have a relationship beyond their one night together. They reunite several years later and their feelings are the same with one additional surprise. The Morgan family provides unwavering support for both Jamison and Cody. Will they have the courage to try again?

Loved

Lola has done it again. My heart! This series just keeps getting better and better. Cody and Jamison's love story is full of angst and I'm all here for it. I laughed, I grinned, I sobbed...They have this connection they can't run from. Even with a few years apart, they still have the same zing as they had before. Only now they have a little something extra. I love these characters so much. I love how we still get to see the entire Morgan clan in each book. I hope it never ends.

I didn’t think I could love the series more, but Lola has made me a bigger believer in love as we meet the youngest Morgan, Cody. Cody is as carefree as his heart is big. He loves his family fiercely, loves to joke around, and works harder than most. Jamison is an adventurous girl who knows exactly what she she wants and how to get it. In this second chance romance, you get to see exactly how love prevails all. You’ll laugh and cry and once again believe that love conquers all. Here’s to another Cowboy Fairytale!

I always love to read a surprise baby romance and this one is no exception. Wild Child has it all - hot cowboys, steamy love scenes, just enough drama, cutie pie toddler and chemistry rekindle that will set your device on fire. Lola west has worked her magic on this one and you will not want to put it down. From the first chapter to the last she weaves a story to pulls you in and has you routing for Jamison, Cody and little Flynn. A definite must read!

I absolutely adored Lola West's "Wild Child," a funny, sweet, and emotional story that I highly recommend for all fans of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. Main characters Jamison and Cody were very likeable and sympathetic, and I loved how playful they were with each other from the start. The Dr. Seuss-style rhymes they exchanged were adorable and certainly unique. They both had fears to overcome before they could be together, but IMO the reasons for those fears were perfectly understandable, and it was very easy for me to root for them both individually and as a couple.

The book's secondary characters were also incredibly likeable and added a great deal of depth and humor to the narrative. I particularly enjoyed Flynn, Jamison's toddler son, and Maggie, Flynn's nanny and Jamison's best friend. Flynn was an adorable scene stealer and watching him bond with Cody was very sweet. I loved Maggie's snarky sense of humor as well as how supportive she was of Jamison when she needed it the most. I hope there are plans for Maggie to get a story of her own in the future!

I'm pretty sure I said the same thing after reading the last book in this series, but "Wild Child" was my favorite book of the series so far. I can't wait to see what's coming next for the Morgan family!

Lola West’s Big Sky Cowboys series just keeps getting better with each book! This was another quick, steamy read with a good dose of angst that kept me glued to the pages.

Cody and Jameson were fantastic together and separately. The sass that Lola seems to write into each of her heroines is just magic! And Cody? Swoony-worthy as they come.

I really enjoyed WILD CHILD and can’t wait for more from Lola West!

Each book in this series just keeps getting better. I think this is my new favorite. I gobbled this one right up. I loved Cody and Jamison. They have such great chemistry. I love the playful silly side Jamison brings out in Cody. Little Flynn is way too cute for words. He is an adorable little cowboy in the making. This is a beautiful story. I'm not gonna lie towards the end it had me tearing a bit. I would highly recommend this one! The epilogue is the cherry on top of the book!

Cody might be my new favorite cowboy. This story has the same recipe of love and laughter but we also got some more angst in this one. I usually don't like all the angst with the rom-com but it worked so well here because the characters are so well written and developed and they have depth. I loved seeing Jamison and Cody navigate their relationship and the chemistry was just WOW!

What a great story. Love that Jamieson knew what she wanted and went after it from the very beginning. Cody is one of those Morgan boys so we know he is hot. Loved Flynn too!

Jamison : A rich girl intent on a good time. Cody: A cowboy only too willing to oblige.

One post-rodeo, wildly-hot, one-night-stand later, and she inevitably disappears from his life. But the memory of their unbelievable connection remains.

Will he ever get her back where she belongs? And if she somehow does get there, can he open himself up to the prospect he fears most: forever?

‘Wild Child’ is a hot yet oh-so-sweet, fabulous read, that’ll make you hanker for a hunky cowboy all of your very own.
