The World and Then Some is a beautiful debut novel by Sharon Randall. It is a step back in time to its beginning in 1898, The novel based on faith, family and the challenges of life in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I read it in two days and would have finished it in one, but it was Election Day. Sharon is a gifted writer whose stories pull you into the lives of her characters. I experienced a roller coaster of emotions when reading this book, including a wider appreciation of the world around us and the challenges and love that we face across time in our culture and our families.
