I am seriously loving these Murphy brothers. They keep getting better and better. Same is the youngest of them and he is sexy AF. And can you say dominant? Holy hotness. He takes charge in the bedroom and she loves it. She needs it.

I enjoyed Nina and Sam's story, they were made for each other. From the moment they met, they were drawn to one another, the attraction was strong was strong between them. The chemistry between them was sexy, they were good together.

Sam and Nina’s story is good, but too quick. Hearing myself say that, I cringe. Mainly, because I know it's an insta-love story. But hello, in less than twenty-four hours, and a sex-capade later, they're in love.
She's a new lawyer on the lot the guys don't know and she doesn't know them. Their reality show does pranks on people and she gets punked by Sam via earbuds per his brothers feeding him lines. Not good for him since he had just been crushing on her as he watched her through the store window shopping. But, when it all hits the fan he and she come to terms the following Monday her first day of work. Boy, terms they are.
I like his big brother, Josh’s story, much better. It gave you a better build-up to the relationship, and I don’t just mean the dom-sub sex, that both the brothers enjoy. They enjoy being called, “Mr. Murphy,” during sexy times.
There are some funny moments throughout the book. They keep the story flow fluently. Characters are both very interesting and caring, with funny moments, too.

Yay more hot men and adorable pups!! This series has been super cute. I love that even though they are novellas, you get the same warm fuzzies as reading an entire book. Her Top Dog was the second book in Katana’s Rescue Me series! It was fun, hot, and sexy!!
Sam had an instant attraction to Nina. Little did he know she was about to be his new boss. After getting off on the wrong foot, would Sam be able to make it right?
So cute!! Lots of laughs and steam! Can’t wait to see what happens with the rest of the brothers!!

Cute story from Katana Collins. The brothers are up to it again with their pranks. This time, Sam, the youngest brother of the 4 is the main focus. While they are out filming for another episode of their show, Sam eyes a beautiful woman in the Chanel store. The brothers somehow notice he is staring at her and decide to use this to their advantage. Out walks Nina and Sam has to ask her some very inappropriate questions. Of course, it doesn’t bode well for Sam.
Turns out Nina is the new lawyer for the network and does not like the way things are going on the show because of all the potential lawsuits that could come about. Sam and Nina can’t seem to agree in the office, but get them away from the office and it’s game on. While Nina might rule in the office, she likes to be dominated in the bedroom and Sam was able to pick up on that very quickly and went after what he wanted.

Instalust and instalove but a great novella if you are looking for something short, hot and drama-free. I enjoyed the premise of this story and the banter between Sam and Nina. The premise is clever and it was fun to read the characters' reactions to finding out how they are connected through their careers. The sexual tension between Sam and Nina was palpable from the beginning.
The only issue I had with this story was not being aware beforehand that it contained elements of BDSM. BDSM does not automatically put a book in the "no" pile for me but I am picky when it comes to reading books that contain BDSM in that I will not read certain themes. Most stories I have read with a D/s slant or containing BDSM make it clear in their description those elements are present.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story even though I didn't particularly enjoy all aspects of the sex scene between Sam and Nina.

Wellll, this one took a wicked turn compared to the previous Murphy brother's book. Helloooooo, Mr. Murphy, and change that title to Her Top, Alpha, Dominant Dog. Hot diggity dog!!
Another fun, quick, tantalizing read of insta-love when Sam Murphy meets the television studio's new lawyer, Nina Miller. After involving her in one of their filmed pranks for their hit TV show, Nina wants to put the brothers on a short leash to avoid legal liability. She may be the boss when it comes to legal briefs, but Sam Murphy is unquestionably the boss between the sheets, and Nina loves every minute of it.
For as little time as it feels like I’ve spent with the Murphy brothers so far, I’ve fallen for all of them already and can’t wait to read the next brother’s story. If you’re short on time but desperate for a quickie, I mean, quick escape, Sam Murphy is just the man you need. ;)
Oh yeah, there are dogs, too. Even better.

Sam is the youngest brother of the four brothers who have a hit reality show, Nina is a target of one of Sam's stunts and has irritated her with the boldness, little do the brothers realize, she's the new attorney for the network they show is produced by. I truly love this author, Callback and Role Play were two of my favorites, but the short stories in this new series is leaving me wanting more. One minute these two characters are talking in a restaurant regarding the incident, the next he has her bent over her new desk at the company, then announces he's in love with her. There's really no character development, no buildup, just a slam bam thank you mam story. Love the premise of the book, love Harley, but I for one need more background and buildup to keep my interest.

Her Top Dog is an insta-love, Dom/sub story. I love the characters. Even though Nina is the sub in the relationship, she is by no mean submissive in her everyday life. She is tough as nails and makes Sam work for her.
Sam is one of the brothers featured in this series. He and his brothers are part of a very successful television show that make the brothers play pranks on each other... this time, the prank may have gone too far.
As always Katana delivers on her storyline. The short quick read gives you all you want without too much back story and build up. The steamy love scenes are an added bonus. If you're looking for something quick without requiring much commitment, this is perfect for you.

Why is it that with all the warnings authors give us about unsettling, unsavory life events that may trigger something, they usually forget to mention the nasty dom/sub, kink, BDSM elements that disgust and upset some people, like me!!! That stuff takes a potentially good story and ruins it for me. I’m not a prude at all, but even spankings are childish and inappropriate in an adult world. When that nonsense starts, I stop liking the story line. But I believe there is enough information for you to decide for yourself if you want to read it or not. It had potential and a dog; sometimes that may be enough.

This is a sweet steamy love-at-first-sight romance with some mild drama. It can be read as a standalone and it's short enough that you'll probably finish it in less than 2 hours. It's a good book for animal lovers and for those looking for a cute romance with mild banter and a short but wholesome plot.

But Sam is not one to give up, so fingers crossed and hope for a miracle.

This is book two in the Rescue Me series. It’s a short, hot instalove story. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the third book. Sam has a prank show with his three brothers and Nina ends up being the unwilling victim on their show. It doesn’t end well, and she walks away leaving Sam intrigued and curious about her. Little does he know she’s the new lawyer hired by the studio and she has some changes that their show needs to make to make sure it doesn’t get cancelled. They can’t keep their hands off each other but she’s technically his boss. Will Nina take a chance on a relationship with Sam?

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Nina and Sam aka Smurf. This is a great addition to the series. It mentions Sam's crazy brothers and the TV series they run. But the main tale is of Nina and Sam finding common ground. Nina is used in a skit on the show and she's now pleased. Then to find out that the show is for the network she is going to work for. Not to mention the crazy chemistry between Sam and Nina at every turn. Great HEA with lots of puppies and kisses.

Her Top Dog was a fun read by Katana Collins. Sam is the youngest Murphy brother and one of the stars of their own reality prank tv show. Nina Miller catches Sam's eye and unfortunately before he can make a move, she becomes the target of one of their pranks. Furious, Nina leave Sam with covered in soup and chastised. But Sam cannot get Nina off his mind and he is thrown a curve ball when she is introduced at the network's new attorney and his boss. I definitely recommend this fun and steamy read.

This was a quick steamy read. It was okay, not my favorite but not the worst I’ve read. It is a quick story with a plot that moves quickly. It seems at times to be love at first sight with a heavily reliant on lust. The plot relies on the lust but leaves very little getting to know the characters. It was a quick read that really doesn’t require much thinking.
I give this a three out of five stars. It was a quick steamy read with the plot relying heavily on lust for the characters to come together.

I am loving this Rescue Me series from Katana Collins. Even though the stories are short and easily read during lunch time, they are packed with fun, loving, and sassy characters, story lines that have their beginning, middle and end, and laughs throughout. Her Top Dog brings brother Sam to the forefront with his interactions and attraction to Nina. They have their struggles but have an instant connection and are sexy together. I can't wait for the next book.

Okay...that was...unexpected. We went 0-100 so fast that it left my head spinning. Don't get me wrong, the love scene was caliente...but insta-love always leaves me wanting more. More interaction between the couple, more explanation of love, more emotional foreplay, if you will. I like that this book was a perfect little lunchbreak tidbit, but I think I wanted a little more.

This quick romp grabs your attention with witty banter from the characters and sizzling chemistry. This is the second Murphy brother finding his HEA. What an interesting game of who is the dominant in this relationship, enjoyed the patience of Sam and his willingness for Nina in making her decisions. A rapid pace of falling in love, with a fantastic ending as this couple is shown you can fall in love at first sight.

This book was really good! It was super steamy with a good power balance between Nina and Sam that led to some good scenes! This novella was able to easily combine a few plots inside the book that worked really well together and with the length of the book! This short series is great and I can't wait for the next book!

Well well well... I have to say I did not expect that from Sam. That big shift into dominant was sexy as hell. Now the story was great. Nina was a little annoying with the attitude, avoidance and remarks. But I get that her character was gun shy and scared. All in all I really liked it.

I loved how he saw what he wanted and went for it! I didn't blame her as her job was on the line, for taking a little longer to come over, but loved how once she went in, she went all in. Steamy read!

Omg, these two are an inferno. They are hot for each other then then kinda want to fight then he is all in and she isnt sure. But omg the epilogue was amazing and just perfect for them. Cant wait for Cal's book.

Told in the dual, first person point of view of Sam and Nina, which is always a deal breaker for me. This one was sweet and short. These two were made for each other even before they realized that they work together.

Enjoyable fast paced story filled with mild drama, personal conflicts, charismatic characters, intense chemistry, and of course my favorite the HEA.
