Why can't I forget your kiss...

Dear Quinn,

Why must I have these feelings for you? You're my ex-stepbrother, and nothing will change that truth, no matter how many letters I write.

I never expected to see you again--or to rescue you from the side of the road in a blizzard. I didn't think you would ever like me, much less kiss me in a steaming hot tub on a snowy night. It see

DJ has such a talent for this type of longer novella where there's loads of feels and an exploration of young adult life.

In this festive treat, we not only get a former step-brothers romance, but it's got the forced proximity trope to add to the plotting and it works beautifully.

Jonas, who we last saw in Secret Admirer chatting up Benji to Ace's dismay, has been in love with his ex-step-brother Quinn from the time they were still part of the same family and a Prologue at the beginning of the bo
I loved this book! It might even be my favorite book by this author. It had all the christmasy feelings. Exactly what I needed right now.

I fell a little bit in love with Jonas. And Quinn too even if it took a little bit longer.

*** I received an eArc from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.***

This was a fun, light, and steamy second chance holiday romance. The premise was promising when two ex-step brothers are forced to remain in their family's secluded cabin during a snowstorm. Both characters are forced to confront their feelings that were mostly ignored but are now bubbling at the surface due to their forced proximity.

This was a quick read that fulfilled all of my expectations of a fun, sweet, and ligh

This is by far my favorite Jamison book I’ve read, and I quite literally could not put it down. I even thought “I cannot wait to get back to reading” only to remember I had finished it and get very sad that it was over. Quinn and Jonas were just such amazing characters, and lord did they set my kindle on fire when they were together. I’m talking some serious steam factor here! But aside from that it’s such a sweet new adult holiday story that I also kept getting a little gooey just thinking abou ...more

They kissed once, well Jonas kissed Quinn, under the Christmas tree. After a sorry that was it.
Because it could never be, their step-brothers.

Now many years later, they meet again as ex-stepbrothers, in the family mountain cabin, just the two of them, snowed in. The rest of the family will arrive when the roads are safe.
There are a lot of misunderstandings, they always assumed the other didn’t like them.
Oh boy if they knew the truth!

Jonas has a secret box with precious content, private, put awa
The premises of this story were titillating: crush on your step brother, secluded cabin in the middle of a snowstorm, reconnecting and lots of sexy times.

What else to do with plenty of time together being snowed in? Well, of course keep each other warm in any way possible lol. But Jason and Quinn also grabbed the chance and opened up to each other, with sad and happy moments. I enjoyed seeing their romance develop. They made up for lost time, they talked and cleared up on past misunderstandings

I absolutely adored this ex-step-brothers, snowed-in romance from DJ Jamison. It was sweet and funny and also steamy, quite low on the angst.
I loved the Christamas-sy snowed in setting, but the story is so much more than just a Holyday romance. Jonas and Quinn are ex step brothers and Jonas has always had a major crush on Quinn, whereas Quinn was so lost in his grief for the loss of his father, he has always pushed away Jonas and his family.
After 4 years they find themselves snowed in together

I loved Jonas and Quinn! These two used to be stepbrothers, and now they end up in a cabin together for the holidays. It was a good mix of naughty and nice, so the name totally fits. These boys are sweet and adorable and considerate and have a real connection. But oh they have a fiery flaming heat, too.

Quinn is a little bit of a mess, he's off a bad relationship and in need of life direction. Kind of makes him not trust his own judgement. And Jonas- aww even though he's more used to a casual ho

Naughty & Nice is a quick, sexy holiday read.

Quinn's father died when he was younger. When his mother remarried, Quinn was in such a depression over losing his father he made no attempt to get to know his new stepfamily. Quinn really didn't go out of his way to be friends with his stepbrother, Jonas. Jonas was handsomely annoying. After Quinn shared a memory of his dad with Jonas, he

Losing a parent is hard, no matter what the age, but losing a father as a preteen boy is rough. Having your mom remarry, when you’re lost in your grief, can be traumatic. So, it’s not surprising Quinn disliked his stepfamily, and most notably, his stepbrother, Jonas. Then one night, under a Christmas tree, something happened that couldn’t be taken back, and began years of misunderstanding and misinterpreting. After his mom’s new marriage broke up, both young men went their own way, as if nothing ...more

2.75 stars. I wanted to like this story more than I did. I thought the "use to be step brothers but now we're lovers" storyline would kinky and hot ala a Nicky James or Cara Dee novel. Eh, not so much. Instead, this story choose to dwell less on the steam and more on the angst and depression of Quinn in particular. Also it was hard to buy into their attraction for one another because their feelings of love/attraction occured off-screen (e.g. before the story started). I acknowledge that my low r ...more

3.5*s of snowy sexiness

There is an awful lot that I enjoyed about this book - it just took a while to get to that point, and there was a lot of inner voice, and thinking not doing, which I found frustrating. I completely understood the need to give us the men's views, but I felt we learned far more from Jonas's letters than we did from his inner thoughts. The letters were lovely, and were used to great effect.

Cute Holiday Read!!!

Snowed in, close, proximity Christmas story! This is a sweet story of ex-stepbrothers who are both harboring old crushes on each other. They head to the family cabin for Christmas without knowing the other is going to be there. Quinn and Jonas are both stubborn in their determination to not let the other know about his crush. There is a lot of fun times and unresolved tension between them until the truth finally bubbles over!! This is a sweet, fluffy holiday read that is perf

I adored Naughty & Nice. D.J. Jamison did such a terrific job with this story. Quinn and Jonas are ex-stepbrothers, who both head to Jonas' father's cabin for different reason. Jonas has been in love with Quinn for years. Quinn has gone through a bad relationship. Will these two come together for a happily ever after? There's humor, there's drama, and there are some truly lovely moments.
Excellent romance read.

This is a great, entertaining story that quickly grabbed my attention keeping me turning the pages. I enjoyed getting to know Quinn and Jonas and watch their story unfold. I don’t want to give anything away by saying too much. I will say it is an enjoyable story, perfect for the holidays.

I can’t remember much about this but I know that I grew bored and stopped reading it. Nothing about it makes me want to go back and finish so I’m just going to stop here. I don’t care about either MC, I don’t like lying and this one is not for me.

Quinn and Jonas story is the perfect, cozy and sweet holiday romance. Once stepbrothers, they a kiss in the past, but things happen and they spend some time apart. Now, they end up sharing a cabin for the holiday, and it’s the perfect time to fix some mistakes from the past - and why not, make some new ones? The story is very low on the angst (I’ll admit I was hoping for more on the taboo side of things) - but full of tender and lovely moments. Expect a lot of heat and a very sweet and christmas ...more

I was really excited about this book because I loved the first one and we got to know Jonas there and I just couldn't wait to read his story.

The ex-step brother theme was good, but it wasn't as deep as I like these kind of stories. It was just a fact that they were living under the same roof while their parents were married, but nothing more. No real connection.

My biggest disappointment was that this Jonas wasn't the same I've met in Secret Admirer. Jonas was a whole new person.

Quinn seems a bit too nice at the start, almost afraid to even say boo to stand up for what he wants but it seems finally making a move on Jonas was the start of his getting stronger as a person!

Jonas, player it seems but just love lonely at heart is a perfect partner for Quinn..

This is the first book I've read by DJ Jamison and I think I've discovered a new must-buy author! I loved Jonas and Quinn. At the beginning of the story, Quinn is struggling. He has dropped out of school and escaped an abusive relationship, but he has been lying to his mom about the whole situation, and is feeling completely lost. He's fortunate that his former step-dad loves him like a son and offers their family cabin in the mountains of Colorado as a place for Quinn to stay and get his life i ...more

This is a cute, low-angst, forced proximity, pseudo-taboo holiday story focusing on Jonas (from Secret Admirer) and his ex-stepbrother, Quinn. (I call this “pseudo-taboo” because maybe it sounds that way, but it really isn’t; these two aren't related by blood and aren’t even “family” anymore since Quinn’s mother and Jonas’ father divorced. However, this issue isn’t ignored in the text and is actually dealt with by Jonas and Quinn when they become a couple.) You may recall if you’ve read Secret A ...more

Sweet and hot and full of feels.

I really loved this book. I've been a big fan of DJ Jamison ever since I read my first book by her, over four years ago. Naughty & Nice is going on my list of favorite books for 2020 and one of my favorites by her.

Second chance stories are one of my absolute favorites and this one kind of fits that category. It's also kind of a stepbrother story (not usually a favorite trope) but Jonas and Quinn are no longer stepbrothers by the time their romance really begins.

A sweet, low-angst, festive holiday romance that leaves you with a smile on your face!

I adored Quinn and Jonas – they were just so perfect together and I loved that despite everything this didn’t become an angsty read. The two of them work together and it’s lovely to see them get to have their HEA.

I have to admit I can be a bit picky about forced proximity stories – it’s not that I don’t like them, per se, but I think they can easily feel forced and I find it hard to believe that the couple wil

Jonas and Quinn's holiday romance was everything I could have hoped for!

Though Jonas was a side character in another story, this book definitely worked as a standalone. Getting to know Jonas on a deeper level was so satisfying, and I have to say that I didn't expect him to be such a romantic at heart. His and Quinn's attraction started when they were stepbrothers, but by the time this story picks up they're college-aged and no longer related. For me, the idea of an ex-stepbrothers relationship

What I Liked…
Okay, I have to admit that Naughty & Nice had it all. Jonas, a college frat boy who is viewed as “a player” by many ends up he is not over his first kiss. Ends up he has a heart of gold, and the patience to get this relationship on track. Quinn, a college dropout who leaves a bad relationship determined to get his life back on track AND does not plan on letting any man control his life again.

Well, as can imagine, this leads to some angst as they are snowed in together, alone, just b

This book was super cute. I totally forgot that I read about Jonas back in Secret Admirer where he was a manwhore who would sleep with any guy and tried getting with sweet little Benji. He didn’t seem like a jerk in that book but still rubbed me the wrong way.

In this read, we get a to see a different side of him. He did sleep around a lot but he’s been pining over his step-brother slash ex-stepbro for six years, basically ever since he met Quinn. Jonas kissed Quinn when he was 16 but nothing ev

The 2 MCs are college students but even though they are young it didn't have a YA feel. The writing is like any other mature couple which I appreciated.

This book made my heart ache and cry….in a good way of course!! I’ve been postponing reading for a while because lately not one book made me hooked, but this one did! I read it for 2 days straight!

Jonas and Quinn were stepbrothers. Quinn hated his new family, even showing outright his hatred for them. But Jonas, from the moment his eyes landed on Quinn, he’s hooked. And one day on Christmas Eve, they kissed, for Quinn it was a mistake and they left it on awkward terms. A few years later, coinci

DJ Jamison writes sweet but spicy M/M romance that most readers consider relatively low-angst. She grew up in a working-class family, and many of those influences can be found in her books: family drama, workplace conflict, and of course, love!
