The Little Cockroach is a tale that focuses on a Mexican cockroach called Pedro, who decides to go on an adventure and discover the world, and so with his friend Enrico, he travels to Italy and the adventure begins.
The story thanks to the rhyming flows well, and the illustrations cheerful and brightly coloured add to the tale unfolding.
This is a fun little read which at one point had me smiling, defo one my cousins will like and I won't mind reading it to them.

The Little Cockroach is a brilliant story about a Mexican cockroach called Pedro who decides he want some to go on an adventure and discover the world. With the help of his friend Enrico the pair arrive in Italy and the adventures begin.
This book is great fun and one the children have really enjoyed. I didn't think much of it from the cover but I was really surprised at just how good it is. It is a rhyming story that flows very well, this is the children's favourite kind of story, and the adventures they have are really imaginative and fun but still show that being a cockroach in a big environment may be tricky.
The characters of Pedro and Enrico are brilliant as they are such ambitious and curious cockroaches that is great for the children to see and inspiring for the children to think about trying something new. I like how at times they were very innocent to their surroundings as it made for an entertaining take on the story.
The illustrations are lovely with brightly coloured images and lots of details that show all of the fun Pedro and Enrico had and the children loved to see the silly situations they found themselves in! It was nice to see some of the sights in Pisa as it gave the children a chance to think about somewhere with a different culture to where they live.
The Little Cockroach is a fantastic rhyming story that we have loved reading, a lovely adventure with lots of fun and a bit of Italian culture!

The Little Cockroach is a Children's Book written by the author Susie Violet. The main character of the story is a Mexican cockroach Pedro. He lives in Mexico and has a best friend named Enrico. Little Pedro loves Mexico but now he is bored of this place. He wants to have some adventure. He and Enrico packed their luggage and reached the airport.
They travelled in a flight and arrived in a new land. Now it's time for new beginnings. Grab a copy of this book and go on an adventure with Pedro and Enrico. Find out will they have fun at new place or will they land themselves in some trouble?
The story is written well. Alex Patrick as an illustrator has done really amazing job. It is one of the best illustrated book that I have read so far. The language of the book is simple so kids can understand it easily. Kids will enjoy reading this story. I recommend this book to all my Amigos 😊😊!!

I love reading Children's stories. The Little Cockroach is a children's book written by the author Susie Violet and illustrated by Alex Patrick. The protagonist of the story is Pedro. One day, he was really tired from the sand and the sun. He lived in Mexico but he wanted to explore other countries too. He asked his friend Enrico to be ready to go for some adventure.
Both of them packed their stuff and they caught a flight to land in a new country. They saw Leaning Tower of Pisa, enjoyed eating ice cream, etc. Read the entire story yourself to know what all is in store for them. Will their journey be good or bad?
Narration of the story is clear and the language is rhyming. Illustrations are eye catchy and will capture kid's interest immediately. Cover page of the book looks so decent featuring Pedro and Enrico. Overall it was an amazing read for me. Kids will surely love this.

Awesome Adventures
What an amazing adventure! This book shows the importance of friendship, through the good times and the bad. Seeing an adventure through a small insect is brilliant! Could you imagine how big everyday items to us are to them! Can't wait for the next adventure!!

Enrico and Pedro are a cheeky pair of adventurous cockroaches that want to see the world. They visit the beautiful city of Pisa in Italy and pose by the Leaning Tower as well as sample some delicious gelato and calzone. There is lots of scope for sequels so I hope to see Enrico and Pedro is other worldwide locations.
Most importantly, my son really likes this book because it makes him laugh and he often says, “again?” after we have just finished.
My favourite parts: the illustrations are cute and bright and I like the puns like ‘Roach Trip’!

Pedro (little Cockroach) felt like he was stuck in Angel Bay, Mexico.
He told his friend Enrico they needed to travel to somewhere else.
The gecko (lizard) scared the 2 of them before they headed out on their journey.
They spied a man headed to the airport & jumped on board his briefcase.
Pedro & Enrico had never been to Italy.
Things didn’t go as planned & they jumped on some suitcases at the Hotel.

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) zoo animal rhyming storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s animal adventure movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

🍷What an amazing and fun filled book this is, Pedro, the little cockroach along with his friend goes on an adventurous trip which makes them end in many awful and funny situations. Their story and journey is truly exhilarating and it's filled with many ups and downs. It's something that is going to make you laugh and the illustrations are just so beautiful that you feel like you are actually watching a movie or a cartoon, so yeah it's definitely very adorable and creative.

Pedro and Enrico are two cockroaches tired of their life on a Mexican beach. So one day they decide to pack two canoes and take off on an adventure.
They meet up with some nemeses along the way. After ditching a gecko, the pair hitch on to a suitcase and wind up on an airplane to Rome. Soon they are seeing the sights and causing mayhem whenever they are discovered.
The plot is certainly unique. Not all of the rhymes work well and some elements of the plot don't make sense. It is a fun read-aloud for young children that teaches a bit about the culture. Children who like unusual characters and humor in fiction will probably enjoy it.

A perfect bedtime story read with bright and catchy illustrations. I read this to my 6 month old baby due to the brightness and colours. I can't wait for the next book. It's recommended for 2-6 but I think you can start much younger.

A hit in our house. My youngest is 1 and loves the colours, my eldest is 4 and laughs his head off when they get stuck in the ice cream. The age range is 2-6 but I think this is perfect for babies too due to the engaging illustrations.
