4 stelle e mezza
Alla fine, colpevole e movente erano ovvi, ma il libro mi è piaciuto comunque, quindi non do il massimo punteggio, ma quasi.

I felt this book was written by an amateur. Some of the pages printing was crooked. There was no suspense, I did not like the characters that much.

This book is so much more than a suspense novel, it is a thought-provoking story of an ex-con seeking answers. The author's attention to detail and exploration of the thought processes that the characters used to solve the case was well written.
'"The truth shall make you free."' He quoted the verse and felt the meaning of it more directly than he ever had before.
Lanford is freed from prison but he's not truly free until he can find the answers that evaded him the last 18 years. He found an unlikely ali in the current Sheriff, something he never would have expected. Working with her, Sheriff Sarah Winfrey, and her police dog, Festus, he was no longer alone in his quest for truth.
This book if for anyone who knows the value of truth. Sometimes, the truth can be hard to find - and prove - but the search is worth it.
Highly recommend this amazing story!

Very interesting story about a man wrongfully arrested and imprisoned eighteen years for murdering his family. In prison, he accepts Jesus as Savior. When released, he wants justice but not vengeance following the words of Romans 12:19. "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord."
