The text focuses only on those areas of mathematics required for the GMAT test, consisting of four main basic arithmetic; fundamental algebra; geometry; and introductory statistics. After a brief review of each topic's basic rules and methods, there is at least one worked example followed by an extensive set of self-practice exercises. The student should attempt as many exercises as is necessary to master the topic.
