Really interesting introduction to contentious points in the criminal law — perfect for a budding law student with little experience of law. Although the arguments are occasionally hard to follow and complex, it provides real food for though about some of the moral dilemmas that the law faces and raises wider questions as to whether the law as it stands is effective and just.
