For such a short story, there’s such a good message in this. We get to revisit characters that we got to know in A Perfect Weakness and meet some new ones too. I enjoyed getting to know Charlotte and Thomas. This was a really nice read!

I was given a complimentary copy of this ebook from the author, but was not required to write a review. The thoughts and comments are my own.

In This Hope was a very good novella. It can be enjoyed without having read A Perfect Weakness, which takes place a few years before this story. Some past events discussed in this story occurred in A Perfect Weakness, so be prepared for that if you haven’t already read the first book.

Jennifer A. Davids has a beautiful fluidity to her writing. Her characters are likable, smart, and can stand on their own within the story.

Several of the characters from "A Perfect Weakness" are in this story, but it can be read as a stand-alone.

Lovers of Jane Austen, you'll want to read this novella. It is captivating!
