Great Read

This standalone was so very good. It was very emotional and sweet. So hated this was a standalone. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters and it flowed really well. So loved the way everything turned out and everyone got their happy ending. Great job Taniece.

Healing souls....

I came across this book one day just looking through Amazon's suggestions. I read the synopsis on it and instantly became interested but then I could not find it again. Well, I searched until I did and I am glad because it was a great book. I loved the background, title, and plot it was intriguing throughout and it kept my attention.

D'Angelo and Essence both got a chance at a second love. They found it in each other after losing it with their first loves. I loved the role that D'Angelo played in Dax's life as a practitioner and father.

I would love to read Patrice's story because it seems she going to have one to tell. She was also a single mother. This was a fantastic read and I most definitely recommend it.

Did we read the same book?

I tried this off the strength of the other reviews so I was not expecting a wish washy heroine, a disjointed story, words used incorrectly (more than one) nor an undeserved HEA. After Essence threw that adult tantrum in that hospital and she was wrong, I felt a way when D’Angelo wanted her still. No boundaries established or anything... just a weak apology from her and let me take you to dinner... tuh

I want to try something else just because I don’t want this to be a lasting impression of the authors work.

This book was great from the beginning to the end. I cried so much because I couldn’t believe that Essence son Dax had cancer. I’m glad that DeAngelo was with her every step of the way. I love those 2 together no lie I most definitely happy for them I’m glad that she said yes.

Unexpected

This is a different story. I wasn’t quite ready for the plot, but once I kept reading , I could appreciate it and began to root for the couple to make it out together.
