This was such a fun and easy read! It was very fast paced, action packed and keep me on my toes the whole time. I had a hard time putting this book down and couldn’t wait until I could pick it up again to continue reading. The characters were well developed and very relatable. If you loved reading hunger games, you will love reading this!

If you were to ask me what do you prefer? Going on weekends night clubbing or a camping trip into the woods. My heart will go on with the second choice.

Ain't it a great choice. Trekking up and finding a perfect place to set a tent, collecting those flammable wood sticks, that fresh burn of marshmallows, more stories to share.

What if everything turns upside down in a moment for you? You have a blow over your head and now you woke up to adverse situations along with others.

This book is correlated with the above said. It shares the story of three mates gone out for a camping trip confined themselves into something mysterious.

Written by "Tyler Michael" is an author, a fervent seeker for cinema's and video games to bring a blend of euphoria into his work of fiction. "Apex" is his debut novel available globally.

The book is about: Kate, Chris and Kevin. These friends were chilling at their camp site. They met with a new person, "Ranger" . Had a chit-chat session with him.

Ranger talked about many things along with being asked by Chris about his profession. He worked for an entertainment company called "APEX", an exclusively unique experience providing firm for only wealthy clients.

He adds why they aren't present on any public domain and their hosting is discrete.

Sadly Ranger's non disclosure profession became a dead game and reason of survival for three of them. They didn't know at all what Apex is servicing its rich clients.

Apex were hiring sinful life takers to continue their game of survival. They were offering price pools to hunt down and running a game of death.

Those hunters are powerful and effective characters of the entire story. The plot is perfectly organized and the detail of each character is amazing.

Story has interactive script. Reading is fluid and pace is buttery smooth.
Book has plenty of suspense and promotes your adrenaline rush. Each chapter is worth reading and diversified.

Each sentence deliver a cinematic Vibe to the reader. I love this journey of survival.

Definitely recommend.

Apex is an adventure thriller penned down by the author Tyler Michael. Three friends Chris, Kevin and Kate went for camping. The rain from the night before made their planned river crossing impassable. Chris is an experienced one and he knew that some surprises always come to way when you camp. Kate and Kevin also accompanied Chris. Since they couldn't make it to the camp they decided to find a flat area and set their camp there. Kate has some camping experience but for Kevin it's his second camping trip. After finding a perfect place to set up their camp, Kate and Kevin set up the camp and Chris took care of dinner preparations.

After dinner, Kevin went to hang the food wrappers away from the camp to avoid predators nearby camp area. Soon, Kevin heard the footsteps of a stranger who later introduced himself as Ranger. In the morning, Chris and Ranger discussed about their life, company APEX, etc. As the story progresses, at the campsite, Chris heard a sound at night. When we went to check, he was knocked off his feet. Who has attacked Chris? Find out yourself what will happen next in the story.

Being an adventure lover myself, I enjoyed each and every page of this novel. Tyler has done nice job in maintaining the suspense. Title of the book is short and sweet. Plot is intense and fast paced. Descriptions are so strong that I felt like I am with the three characters on their adventures. It is a well written thriller that one shouldn't miss to read.

Wow! APEX is like a real-life video game mixed with a survival reality show, and I could not put it down. The story starts when three friends, Chris, Kevin, and Kate, wake up far from their planned campsite with no gear and only a few survival items. Then they find out they’re part of a dangerous hunting game, with a countdown ticking on devices strapped to their wrists.

The pace of this book is non-stop. The friends have to rely on their skills, brains, and instincts just to stay alive, and you really feel the tension as they try to figure out who is hunting them and why. Tyler Michael does an amazing job showing how each character reacts differently under pressure, especially Kate, who is clever and brave in a way that really stands out.

Beyond the action, the book makes you think about courage, teamwork, and how people respond to danger. You start to wonder what you would do in their place and how far you’d go to survive. The writing is fast, exciting, and full of surprises, making it perfect for anyone who likes action-packed adventures or survival stories.

APEX is definitely one of those books that grabs you from the first page and doesn’t let go, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves suspense, adventure, and characters who really make you root for them.

In Michael’s high-octane thriller, three friends are thrown in a race for survival after their camping trip goes wrong.

It was supposed to be adventure-filled excursion when Chris, Kevin, and Kate left for their planned campsite. But an ominous competition leaves the trio stranded in a harsh wilderness far from any civilization. As they try to get out of the rough terrain, they soon realize they are entrapped in a sinister game of life and death. To get out alive, they have nothing but their wit and resilience.

Michael demonstrates a knack for repeatedly putting his protagonists in harm’s way, and his swiftly paced narrative nicely reveals the protagonists’ stresses and sense of dread as they try to stay alive in the rugged wilderness with dangerous pursuers at their heels.

The tight plotting enhances the lethal game of life or death the trio find themselves in. Adept at creating nerve-wracking moments, Michael keeps the suspense high throughout.

Fans of fast-paced, nail-biting action thriller are in for a treat.

The cover of the book is simple and classic at the same time. The title is perfect for the book.

Coming to the plot,
The book is based around 3 friends, Kate, Chris and Kevin who were chilling at their camp site where they metwith a new person, Ranger and Had a chit-chat with him. They discussed many things while Chris asked him about his profession. He told that he works for entertainment company named APEX. Where they provided firm for clients who are wealthy.
They all had no clue what Apex is servicing and it became a reason for survival for three of them.
To know what happens next, you need to read this book.

Overall this is a very intriguing read which will keep you gripped. There is lot of suspense in this book. The charecters of the plot are developed really well. The pace and flow of the story is maintained in a really good manner. The language is reader friendly so it could be read by everyone.
Highly recommended from my side

A semi-interesting thriller where the rich and powerful pay a small fortune to hunt the most dangerous animal on earth; man. The hunters: Mr. Black, Mr. White, and Mr. Blue. The prey: Chris, Kevin, and Kate. Our unfortunate safari volunteers, who were on a hiking trip turned in for the night, to wake up in the morning in a strange location with only an empty canteen and a box of matches. The hunters are armed with bows, a backpack of supplies, and communication equipment. The “game” would last thirty-six hours, winner takes all. The survival techniques used by the prey were thoughtful and a bit unique depending on the circumstances. Some won and some lost. You’ll have to read the story to find out the winner(s). I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I have been weighing how to review this book. It was well-written. It was enjoyable for the most part. It was rather straightforward in its approach to the content, but that didn't detract from it. The synopsis of the book made it seem like The Most Dangerous Game. I enjoyed that. I think what I didn't like was that not enough happened for the length. I may be spoiled here and I am taking that into account, but the hunts seemed subdued and the reaction of the characters to the end game scenario seemed woefully inadequate. Maybe I just didn't appreciate the pace. I kept waiting for a punch to the gut or slap in the face moment and it never came for me. I did enjoy the overall feel of the book and the content is always interesting to me in a "how would I react?" way.

This book was given to me for free at my request for my voluntary and unbiased review.

This is a survival thriller about three people that find themselves the prey in an game paid for by the hunters
This was a thrilling story, the writing kept the pace going well, there were a couple pages with longer than exposition than I would have liked.
And some of the dialogue were stilted.
It's a nice take on the hunger games style genre.
However,I felt like the ending could have been tighter, there were a couple of loose ends that needed tidying up. The ending made it seem like it had potential for a sequel but Michael hasn't written one yet, and might not choose to.

This was a wonderful book! I found it hard to put it down and zipped through it in one weekend. The characters are well developed and the plot offers a unique take on a classic concept. The writing is clear, concise yet descriptive - and twists and turns throughout the book keep you engaged and anxious to read what happens next. It's hard to believe this is the author's first book - I'll definitely be reading his future works!

This book is crazy good. Hugely entertaining and fast-paced. It was so good I wandered around my house listening to it long after I should have taken out my earbuds and been communicating with my family.
Three regular Joe camper/survivalists are chosen - without their knowledge of consent - to participate in a game of life and death that they don't know the rules to.
You won't regret this book. It's excellent and super fast paced.

This was a Goodreads Giveaway win. I really enjoyed this one. Very Hunger Games-esque. I felt the ending could have been a bit stronger but it was a great book. I couldn’t put it down.
