The stories could get very dark but the puzzles were very enjoyable.

Enjoyed solving these puzzles and finished the book much faster than I anticipated. Word searches were very easy. Also had logic problems, mazes, alphabet substitution puzzles, spot the difference, anagrams, & true crime reading comprehension. In fact all of the puzzles are pretty easy at the beginning with most getting progressively harder deeper into the book. The alphabet/number substitutions & cryptics were my favorite to solve.
The true crime theme of the book became rather upsetting/depressing if I solved too many puzzle within 1 day. Felt wrong to use these victims as 'entertainment'. I would have enjoyed it more if it focused on fictional crimes or left out the true crime comprehension pages.
I am looking forward to doing more of the puzzle books from this series.
