I borrowed An Eidolon Black Ops Boxset Vol 1: Books 1-5 ~ Eidolon Black Ops ~ Books 1-5 from the Kindle Unlimited Program.
An Eidolon Black Ops Boxset Vol 1 is an anthology about five of the operatives that work for a very exclusive Black Ops group in the United Kingdom. The plot is interesting and exciting, the guys are sweet alpha males that find equally strong women to form permanent relationships in a setting full of dangers, threats and each with a different problem.
Alex is book one when he finds his long lost love Evelyn Garcia, now known a Siren, an alpha female full of sweetness just for Alex.
Blake is drawn to Grace Paxton and comes to her aid when she asks for his help with her family problems. Another strong woman and a great addition to the family at Eidolon.
Reid the tattooed covered sweet bad boy is asked by his best friend to help the friend's little sister with a stalker problem. The little sister turns out to be a supermodel with two stalkers and Callie and Reid find each other hot to join in a long-term relationship after the stalkers are eliminated.
Liam and the Princess Taamira are an unlikely pair but when she has security problems he is ready and willing to come to her aid again. I loved the cockney and the Princess and how the complimented each other in a sweet romance.
Mitch is the last in this anthology but not the series, which I am looking forward to finishing. Mitch rents an apartment to a woman, Autumn and her five month old daughter, Maggie knowing they are in witness protection. Everyone loves the sweet baby Maggie and her smart and beautiful brave mother but most of all she belongs to Mitch.
Highly recommend this series of hot Alpha men and hot spicy women that the take as find the love of their lives.

Finally a chance for Alex and Siren to talk and sort things out between them after years of heartbreak for something beyond their control. I loved this story, its full of pain and love, action and threats. We meet different enemies, and they are not nice people, possible threat from close to home just adds to the suspense and build up to the climax of this plot. This is Eidolon but as with Fortis we get our other favourites coming to help out either in person or over the phone, these groups of friends and extended family work so well together to solve and save, in these gripping stories, I honestly do not want to put down. Nothing better than getting comfortable with a nice hot chocolate and just sinking into the words for as long as I can keep life and interruptions away, sometimes id like that to last a very long time or at least the length of a series. Well written with a fast pace and lots of excitement throughout, plus this overwhelming love that these two have for each other that has spanned years and distance and survived intact.
Wonderful.story full of action and suspense, threats from different directions and not knowing who can be trusted even on their own team. There are some twists and turns and not everything is as it first seems, I got completely sucked in and it held my attention through the fast paced plot. I was stunned at one of the surprise twists, just didn't see that. The characters are loveable the men hot sexy and alpha, Pax is a bit softer than most of the women from this group and she isn't trained very much, more on the paperwork or organising side of things, she's the backbone that gets them where they need to be and with the equipment they need. This is a bit more family oriented in the plot as well so more personal. Fantastic and moving read
Fabulous characters and this plot continues to some degree from the previous book along with new characters and their story. There is some action and suspense which goes hand in hand with a relationship starting and building with some wonderful sexual heat. We get some answers in regards the on-going plot and this will continue on into Liam's book. Maddie writes stories that grip and often have you on the edge of your seat on minute and swooning in delight in another, I love falling in love with her hot guys and strong feisty independent woman, some who are as deadly as the men. I really enjoy the fact that often the various agencies step in to help with protection, firepower or just support in other ways, it adds to the interest and the excitement. I am always happy to hear of a new book coming out so I can get another fix of all these fabulous characters.
I don't think I'm alone in saying a lot of followers of this series have been waiting for this story, and it was worth it. It is powerful and exciting, I would say it also gives an insight in some ways to the women of countries where there thoughts and wants are not recognised and how, if they try to fight for some independence or equality it is frowned on. Liam has always come across as cheeky but it was great to see the more loving and serious side to him. To get his side of what happened with Ambrose. To find him not hesitate to support a woman despite her standing in her own country and title. He showed what a true hero should be the the woman who loves him. I love all the characters that cross each series, often working cases together and now linking in other ways as well. This has suspense and some action, unknown threats and a lot of love and friendship. A story that held my focus, grabbed my heart and even almost stopped it at one point. Now I have to be patient and wait for the next book because I read it to fast and it ended way to soon, insert a big sigh here!....
Intrigue and secrets are big in this exciting new book in this series, it has some action and excitement along the way. The main thing I took from this was not one but two characters being strong enough to change their lives from what fates journey had started them on, for Mitch he had help in the form of his mother and her strength to move them away from the life he was heading for. For Autumn she didn't really have a choice if she wanted her and Maggie to live, but when faced with a chance to have so much more, would she have faith and trust enough to take it. I am more than happy to reccomend not just this book but all Maddie's books, I suggest starting with her other series and working through because the characters, the plots and various agencies do cross over and work together. I fall in love with each and every one of these guys and the women, they make me want to know them and have them as friends, make me feel I want to be a member of this family, they might not all be blood but they are stronger than that. There are some really sweet moments in this book especially the ones between Mitch and Maggie that had my heart truelly melt into a puddle of mush, so wonderful they had me captivated.

There are five books in Maddie Wade’s Eidolon Black Ops series so far and she has compiled the into one boxset that is a pure gift to anyone who loves military romantic suspense and who has read Maddie’s Fortis Security series! I promise you that once you start with Alex, you will not stop until you have gotten to the end, no matter what is on your social calendar and who calls you … and if this series is your introduction into Maddie’s universe then you will want to pick up Fortis Security next!
Eidolon Black Ops is what the name of the series says – alpha protectors that live in the shadows and who utilize their skills and experiences to fight for the innocent and the lost.
The series opens with ALEX who is the second in command and who lost his love when he was eighteen … the disappearance of Evelyn set him on the path that he is on and he never expected to cross paths with her again … He will need to reconcile his memories and love for Evelyn with the assassin Siren and I know that you will be keeping your fingers crossed for them to save each other’s lives!
Next comes BLAKE who goes from one night stand to another and he is open about it, he never promises more. He never lets anyone inside his heart or head, no one, not even is team members … and then enters Grace aka Pax who is not only the heiress to a multimillion-dollar fortune but also a member of Zenobi, a lethal assassin … they need to join forces to bring down Grace’s father and we all hope that their future holds something special for them and I do not mean death!
The third book is REID who is a former FBI hostage rescue expert and who ends up protecting his friend’s little sister Callie … but Callie is not just another girl-next-door … she is a world famous model who wants more out of life now but it is not as easy as one would think so Reid needs to step up and keep her safe while fighting his feelings and breaking both his own and Callie’s heart …
Next comes LIAM and it is one exotic story that takes him to protecting a princess. Liam struggles with leaving his guilt as he failed his best friend so he does not care if he lives or dies … somehow Princess Taamira sees beyond his recklessness and he is the right man to dive into the nest of snakes that Taamira’s life seems to be filled with and I have to tell that I really enjoyed the windows into their lives where the Princess experienced the ‘normal’ life …
The fifth and currently last of the series, MITCH, is probably my favourite of the series so far! I loved this cool-headed former London gang member and Autumn who drops into his life with her little baby daughter. The sanctuary that Mitch offers Autumn, the whole team that comes to her aid and the end that they put to her nightmare … what a wild ride it was!
I cannot wait for the next one in the series … there are quite a few members of the team left and there are a few that I know whose stories will shred us …

The rest are better than the first. However...
I never want to see the word "tits" again. Every character in these books (except the two black ones) calls breasts "tits.". British guys, American ones, and the women think of their breasts as " tits. ". A freaking former FBI hostage negotiator who had pulled a rapist off a teenaged girl who has been trained to speak to victims and criminals is unable to use grown-up words. Maybe it's a British thing, talking like an idiot when you see breasts... Frankly, I'm worried about the author. She is supposedly female. If this is how she thinks strong male characters speak, she really needs to talk to more men. I thought it was interesting that in the last novel, where both our hero and heroine are black, breasts were called breasts. Evidently it's OK to treat white women like hookers, but even our author has to show respect for at least ONE woman. If only she'd do it for all of them. Please, Ms. Wade, remember your audience. We have other options.

I'm a big fan of Ms Wade's writing. I love her easy style and her gorgeous heroes, as well as her focus on loyalty, honor, and family. These men who work together and serve together are not just team mates and colleagues but they are brothers too. And when strong, alpha men fall for equally strong, beautiful women, it's something to behold. Be prepared to fall in love with the men and women of Eidolon. These books are best read in order and also have appearances in the Fortis Security series. All books worth investing time into. You won't regret it.

A fantastic collection!
This was a terrific beginning to this series, and I can't wait for more. With fantastic characters, humor, drama, angst, mystery, suspense, and intriguing twists and turns, it's certainly not a series that you'll want to miss!
I would highly recommend that you read the Fortis Security series prior to beginning this one. It's certainly not necessary, but it will give you a better understanding of the characters (which there is a lot of character crossover from both series), the different groups, the connections with friends and family, and the dynamics between all of them. It's a fantastic series, and you definitely won't be disappointed!

Good read
Alex met Evelyn when they were in school and had sworn that their love was eternal. Then something went wrong and they were torn apart for years. When they met up again the love is still there.
Blake and Pax worked together at Eidolon. He had been attracted to her from the first minute. But when she asked him to help out her father in jail things changed between them. Now they are together and United against everyone. else.

Getting to know the men of Eidolon and their women was a real treat. Maddie Wade has created a marvelous cast of characters and surrounded them with stories that have just the right mix of intrigue, suspense, drama, danger and of course romance. Be prepared to fan yourself during each couple's steamy encounters.

Amazing boxset
The storylines were fantastic, the characters are strong. I love how the characters intertwines in each book, it linked their lives together like one continuous story that focused on one couple but you can always keep on track on their lives. Would highly recommend to all. Lots of action, love and friendships.

You should really enjoy these first five books in this book set! The next five books are individual books and yes all ten are connected (although they can be read as stand alone) I'm going to get started on Gunners now. I've really enjoyed these, a very good author when you can't put down, great job Maddie!

Most ridiculous thing ever
This book opens with a teenage girl in a burning house. When rescue men get inside, they find a bad guy trying to rape her ??? Really ? surrounded by the smoke and floor falling through covered in flames ?? All this and more on page two. I'm done. Did not finish reading..

Gripping storylines
Thoroughly engaging stories involving hot as hell heroes and heroines fighting the good fight and finding scorching hot romance at the same time. Maddie Wade is an incredible writer who doesn’t waste words on unnecessary storylines

Absolutely great
Loved this set of stories! The way the men fight the emotions is pretty funny, thinking they are immune to the love bite! The action is pretty incredible and the way every friend steps in to help is heartwarming. Can’t wait for Gunners story!

An exciting and action packed series of books. How the characters are interwoven making each book concentrate on one particular team member whilst still keeping the whole unit in action, made them seem like a family. Really good read.
