I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I sat down and read this book in one afternoon. I am a lover of romance and have to get my RH fix when I can. I know not all people like this but there is just something thrilling about it. I love small town romances. I like Merry and the three guys she meets and find love and romance with. This is only the first book in a three book series and I can't wait to see what happens next.

A good start to this series, it does end in a cliffhanger that does leave me wanting to find out more. Merry is on her way home to give her fiancé an anniversary surprise but when she gets home she is the one who is surprised when she finds him in bed with their secretary. The next day he acts as if it is nothing and Merry decides to pack up leave Dallas and buy a vet clinic in Colorado. When she arrives she finds that she has been screwed once again as the clinic she brought is in dire need of repairs. Desperate and no where to go she takes a housecleaning job for Jason. There is an instant attraction to her boss but Merry tries to fight it as she is trying to get off her devastation with her fiancé. As time goes by she is introduced to her employers two hot best friends and Merry finds herself attracted to them too. As she is trying to move on Phil the ex shows up to take her back. Phil comes off as conniving and sleazy and does prove it towards the end. Merry stood her ground when he first showed up, but just when she decided to give to her attraction she is thrown for a loop. Phil gives her information she didn't know and she is in shock and this is the part that kinda threw me off a little because it wasn't all that bad but she was so devastated she left with Phil and he managed to get her on a plane back to Dallas before a text on his phone she saw got her out of her daze. But then it gets intriguing because now I want to know who KK is and who is out to destroy Jason.

Merry is a vet engaged to Phil, when going home to set up for her and Phil's anniversary only to find him having an affair with his assistant Candy. Merry is struggling working at the vet clinic with Phil and Candy there, she gets an offer to purchase and ope up her own clinic in a different state. She purchases the clinic and moves, thing don't work out well she has to become a maid for the rich Jason. At Jason's home she meets Eric a handyman and in the town she runs into the chef Connor. All three men desire Merry and fill her fantasies. Can Merry handle everything going on in her life?

I’m not sure how to review this, as there were good & bad things about this book. My biggest gripe, the beginning was horrible, enough to almost have me quit- I was so angry for poor Merry. Then the going out to the restaurant, where she gets drunk, that almost felt like she was given a date rape drug, I hated that. That Merry was able to move past it with with the 3 guys is almost unbelievable for the most part. She comes across as such a doormat for the most part, I had a hard time with her as a FMC. She’s not fully flesh out, but not fully dimensional either. The 3 guys are ok, but I really didn’t get a feel for who they are, so I’d say they are flat. There’s definitely chemistry/lust between the 4 of them. There were a lot of plot holes that just didn’t make sense, or didn’t work IMO. The dirty ex, now he’s villain worthy, pulled a stunt at the end that I don’t understand how he managed it either. Then the book ends on a cliff-hanger ending, and the utter lousy feeling the book left me with, that I’m not sure if I want to read the next book now.

This is going to be a great series. So when I started reading this book I was like okay we are going to start happy and then the ball dropped and everything went side ways. Merry had everything going for her until it wasn't. So what does she do. Ups and moves to Wexler. Only to find herself in a predicament. She meets Jason, Connor and Eric. Three really sexy men who see her for her. Only there are secrets that they are all hiding except for Merry. Then her past by the name of Phil comes back and makes everything worse. Will they fight for each other or just let happiness slip through their fingers. I cannot wait for the next book to find out what will happen.

Totally didn’t expect the way this story went down but damn, do I need a cold shower lol. I found myself not being able to put this book down and I’m glad I did a marathon read, and I don’t like cliffhangers but I find myself impatiently waiting to read book 2. Oh and what’s up with the freakin hot men in this book that build up my expectations of what a man should really be and see the world is seriously lacking. The struggle is real. Looks like I’ll just have to borrow Jason, Eric of Connor for inspiration. Thanks Rachel Angel for that (wink wink).

In this book we meet Merry, who whilst on her way home to her fiance finds him cheating on her with the new secretary. For her to leave and take on a new venture for herself that then leaves her broken.
With a few twists she finds herself meeting Jason and then Eric while Jason gives her a job an a place to stay. Then she meets Connor and things start to get heated to create a great storyline with some steam to then end in such a way that it will leave you with questions that need answering. Totally worth reading

Loved this quick read!

What a fun quick read. Merry’s life is not short on drama. She ‘discovers’ her fiancée cheating on her. Decides to move out of state. Buys and vet practice (sight unseen) & discovers the building is damaged and not usable. Takes a job as a housekeeper where she meets 3 hor men (Jason, Eric and Connor) - all friends. She has an attraction to all three of them buts fights it. Add in her cheating ex showing up to get her back; more drama!
This is book 1 and does end with a cliffhanger with some major unanswered questions.

She starts working for Jason Wexler as a maid and she meets his friends, Conor and Eric. She soon finds she has feelings for all 3 guys and wants them all in her life only for her ex-fiance to come along and ruin everything. I can't wait to find out what happens next...

This book was captivating from beginning to end. Merrie's heartbreak was just so real. Then, to have what she thought was going to be her new life fall apart before it even started. I truly felt for the girl. Oh, but to have three men wanting to put her back together again.
There were quite a few surprises throughout this book. That cliffhanger, though. I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out!

First off let's say how I love Rachel Angel. Every book she writes is awesome and this one is no exception. Poor Merry I felt sorry for her because of her ass of a fiance. He cheated on her and just did her all wrong. But when she moves to another state and meets 3 sexy men let's say wow. I loved the pace of the story and how the characters started to bloom is I great story. This is another must read. Congrats on this book.

I've followed Rachel Angel for a while, and this book is by far my favorite of hers. I love the plot, the story progression, and her character introductions. I love how Merry stood on her own two feet when she left her old life behind due to an unforgiveable "incident," and moved to the little town of Wexler to try and restart. Add in 3 hot men and her little town doesn't seem so bad. Book 1 ends in a cliffhanger and I am really looking to Book 2 to see what happens next.

One cheating Ex-fiance, a new start, new job and 3 hot men - Jason, Connor and Eric. Merry (FMC) life gets more complicated when she tries to start a new life in Wexler after leaving Dallas. Trying to get herself set up as a vet there though brings a new set of problems when the practice she buys needs plenty of work. Its a great start with genuine characters (Merry especially) you cant help but like & full of steam. An enjoyable read

Interesting read. Merry caught her fiancé cheating so she moves on whim to Wexler after purchasing a veterinary clinic sight unseen. There she meets Jason, Eric and Connor. I honestly don’t love the circumstances of how they all ended up getting together and the development of their relationship seemed a bit rushed. However, things leveled out toward the end where there was quite a cliffhanger. I’m intrigued to read on to see more relationship development and solve the mystery left at the end.

This book was very interesting and grabbed me as soon as I started reading. The pace that it moves along at is a nice comfortable speed making for an easy read. The characters are interesting and you want to know what makes them click, you cannot help but love them and hate them. This is a must read that needs to be on your TBR list, you will not be sorry that you did.

Talk about that cliffhanger!! Merrie is a veterinarian and she's excited to get married to her fiancé. But her dog of a fiancé did her wrong and she needed a new start that happens to be in Wexler, CO. Wexler happens to be exactly what she needed and add in three hot men what could go wrong? With that twist at the end I'm excited to read what happens next for Merrie and her men.

FL is weak. Everyone seems kinda bland (MLs included) Catchs her fiancé cheating on her in their home, on their bed, on their anniversary, with their secretary, and all she does is leave..ive never been more disappointed.
While this story continues into a second book, im not interested.

Such a quick read! Merry seems like your everyday normal female going through what we all go through. And then she finds 3 hot men. She of course finds it hard to open up and let them in but who doesn’t once they’ve experienced heartbreak. Such a brilliant first book in a series!

Merry, a veterinarian, who had just fell into some hard times. First, she caught her fiancé cheating on her, then impulsively skipping town to start a new life. She meets 3 hot guys who she realizes that they are change she needed. To them, Merry just may have been who they were looking for. It does end in a cliffhanger.
It was an enjoyable read, although, it was really,really fast paced and some of Merry's decisions were not the brightest.
