Some v colonialist language, and definitely written by white people (e.g. no mention of contemporary land struggles and very little framing of SE AK in its larger political and racialized context), but as a comprehensive outline for nature guiding this has been suuuuper helpful.

Use it all the time, even though I've read it from front to back. Love Richard's drawings in there, and Wren likes them too!

An excellent overview of the natural history of the region. Bought it before going on a school trip to introduce myself to the region.
