Set several years after Equinox's events, the world is now in the middle of a pandemic. No children have been born in years as people fear turning into vampires from a sexually transmitted disease that has infected much of the population. People hide in their homes, fearing the rising vampire threat, both physical and biological.

Meanwhile, Solstice's years-long crusade to bring hope back to humanity is put on hold as news reports claim that the "undead" has been seen by residents and local law enforcement. As Solstice and her crew travel to investigate the strange phenomenon, they encounter something more terrifying than vampires…humanity and what we are capable of.

Bryan W. Dull writes books, which, if you really knew him, makes perfect sense as that’s all he has done since sixth grade; spinning a yarn at a moment’s notice. He is best known for writing horror and suspense stories with his first novel, Solstice, being his first experiment into publishing; it was a bet to do it, by the way. In 2016, he tried his hand at something different and published a personal story, Pill Hill. Now, Bryan W. Dull is becoming known for being a literary voice of hope…with some scares mixed into it occasionally. He lives in Fort Wayne, IN with his wife and daughter, and plans on writing more stories that have something to say in this strange world that we live in.

The terrors of the night grow, threatening to overtake the world in Bryan Dull’s third installment in his exciting and gritty series Ecliptic! The vampire plague has become a pandemic, converting most humans. As if this isn’t a problem enough, there are reports of the undead walking the Earth. Now Solstice and her crew must battle multiple enemies as they struggle to save humanity. I love Solstice as a character, so it’s really fun to see her take center stage in this one. Dull always makes great characters and builds realistic connections, but I also love how he takes classic tropes like vampires and the undead, and makes them feel fresh. Not everything is what it seems in this one, and there is danger lurking for Solstice around every corner. If the post apocalypse is your favorite haunt, definitely crawl your way over to Dull’s dark, imaginative, and gritty series!

Bryan W. Dull has done it again with the continuation of the Solstice Chronicles, more action,  more adventure and more heart.

I found myself deeply invested in Ecliptic because this wasn't the typical dystopian storyline,  this jumped from modern gothic feet first into dystopian with tons of emotional impact that left me reeling at times.

The characters have to struggle in a world where vampires are not the worst monsters out there... There are much more sinister things to deal with and our team of misfit warriors find themselves face to face with the worst of the worst. The action and carnage are amped to a level never seen before in this series which at times made me concerned for the safety of our team.

Ecliptic was thrill ride that shows you that everyone needs to just have faith and alittle love in one another and maybe together we can make it through the hardest times.

✨Book Review- Ecliptic✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌑

I always seem to have a problem getting into Bryan Dull’s books because he needs a good proofreader. HOWEVER— once you look past that, the story line, pace, and plot of his books are phenomenal. They leave you wanting more, and if I didn’t have to read a different book that I’m sending to my sister, I would immediately read the last chapter in the Solstice Chronicles, Celestial.

*Spoilers ahead* Overall, I was pretty bummed at the start of the book when I remembered that Gavin was dead. As much as I absolutely hated him in the first book, he kind of grew on me in the second book and I felt that he and Solstice complemented each other well as a team.

I think that Bryan navigated the multiple parallel story lines well and is setting up for one hell of a finale in Celestial. I could not put the book down as I got near the end and the last couple pages completely blew my mind. I cannot wait to start Celestial!
