First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby carriage.
I have wished for that saying to come true every day of my life.
But that’s not my reality.
Here is my version:
First comes the blind date with an incredibly sexy football coach.
Then comes the friends with benefits that you know is so wrong but you don’t care because it feels so right.
Then comes the unex

Davis is the king of ‘hit it & quit it’ he never has repeats or sleepovers until Bethany…Bethany is the girl who’s in love with love. She wants everything…perfect proposal, husband, kiddos.

Bethany absolutely rocked Davis’ perfect & content world in the best way. Being a GRITS (girl raised in the south) all of her southern ways are so very sweet, comfortable & lol funny. I mean who else muses over grey sweatpants & Dolly?!

I truly enjoyed everything about Off Track. I love how protective Davis i

I was given the chance to receive an ARC of Off Track. This is my first Chelle Sloan book and I enjoyed it. The story follows Davis and Bethany. Bethany wants her happily ever after and Davis isn’t a relationship kind of guy. But boy doesn’t life throw them off track in a direction they weren’t expecting. I liked how Davis was part of the pregnancy journey. Sometimes in books, the guy is finding out at the end of the book, but in Off Track Davis and Bethany get to go on the journey together.

Being ready is overrated

This is only the second book I've read by this author. And I've loved them both.

Bethany was a little hard for me to identify with at first. Her sheer determination to make each date into her HEA wasn't something I could relate to, while I have heard the nightmare of the dating world. Davis has held his family in his shoulders since he was 13, he's always hid by being the life of the party. When he connects with Bethany it gives him a look to what a future could look like

A great read! 2nd in this series. Friend with benefits becomes surprise pregnancy turning into HEA. Loved Davis and Bethany and have been quite impressed with this series so far. A thoroughly enjoyable read!

I enjoyed this book thoroughly. I knew I wanted Davis’ story, but I was on the fence about Bethany. I honestly thought she would be the whiny type of heroine, but nope, she’s strong and fabulous. Even though their relationship starts in lust, when they finally, really start getting to know each other it’s sweet, witty, steamy, they grow together, and it’s everything you want in a contemporary romance.

I said this with the first book in the series, it's good to read a sports book from an author that actually knows sports. I loved so many things about this book, the joke around Davis's name, the involvement of Sadie and Hunter from the last book, seeing Davis evolve, it all made for a book that I couldn't put down. I don't want to give anything away, but Davis is going to be everyone's new favorite book boyfriend. ...more

***I received an ARC copy for an honest review***

Yes, Chelle! Thank you! THIS is the feel-good book I've been read! All the right feels are in this book and mixed together for an enjoyable read. The moments of laughing, gasping, sighing, wondering, and hoping came through nicely.

What I love most about Chelle's writing is how it feels natural. There is an ease with words that a lot of authors don't have, and thankfully this author has it. She's been paying attention to gen

I loved my first read by Chelle Sloan! Humor, angst, witty banter and some good romance made this book hard to put down. I finished it in a day.

I really admired Bethany's strength. At first, I wondered how she was going to handle everything on her plate, but she rallied strong. She was only looking for Mr. Right, but she managed to fall for Mr. Right for Just One Night Davis. Just when she thought she was ready to properly pretend that what she felt for him was only lust, life throws all her pla

This is an honest review for an arc received.

Dear Lord Jesus and Queen Dolly, give me the strength to resist.

Bethany is a hairdresser, Sadie’s sister and lover of Steel Magnolias and Dolly Parton. All she wants is her happily ever after. Bethany even has it all planned out in her head. So when she is set up in a blind date with Davis, she promises herself to stay in the moment and not dream of what could be. The moment they meet, it’s instant sparks and chemistry. But what happens when you devel

(ARC Review) I loved this sweet surprise pregnancy romance. This trope doesn’t always work for me, but I think it was really well done here.

Bethany and Davis have a super steamy friends with benefits situation, but Bethany calls it off when she starts to catch feelings. She wants the whole shebang- husband, white picket fence, babies. Davis knows he can’t be that man for her due to his familial obligations and his demanding job that keeps him out on the road for a good chunk of the year. They ha

I’m usually hesitant when I see surprise pregnancy mentioned in a synopsis—It’s not my favourite trope in romance. But after loving Off the Record, I had to take a chance on this one. I’m so glad I did.

Despite the brewing emotions underneath their friends-with-benefits situation, Bethany and Davis want different things in life. Dreaming of a picturesque family for herself, the hopeless romantic Bethany wants the happily-ever-after. Davis, completely against relationships, believes his focus need

This is a steamy, fun sports romance. Davis and Bethany have an instant attraction - he is the king of one night stands and she wants the happy ever after with the husband and 2.5 kids. However, they give into their attraction and what was supposed to be just one night turns into a friends with benefits arrangement. Davis is loyal, focused, caring, and oh so sexy. He is also driven by his past and however misguided it may be this shapes the future he sees for himself. Bethany, is a sweet, sassy, ...more

Bethany loves romance, Davis loves his family & football. Their lust (and chemistry) leads to so much more than either expected. Like nine months of unexpected. When I was given the chance to get an ARC copy of Off Track I jumped at the chance. I loved Chelle Sloan's two other novels and as suspected I would love this one too. Off Track did not let me down. I love how the characters intertwine, like Sadie and Hunter and we get to see their story evolve as well. I really don't want to give too mu ...more

Book 2 in the Fury series....

Well lets just say this one had me all over the place emotionally. Davis had me feeling stabby one minute and super understanding the next. Bethany is probably to date one of my favorite female characters. She is stronger then what you first think (in book one she seems flighty). She knows her worth and I love that. This book has some touchy subjects in it. (Loss and parent health) but its not to much that it makes it unbearable to read. I absolutely loved how this
This book was everything and nothing like I expected. I found myself reading chapter after chapter and not wanting to put it down.

Davis and Bethany get together for a friends-with-benefits relationship which results in a surprise pregnancy.

There are so many moments that I loved in this story.
The reasons they don't originally end up in a relationship.
When they end their friends with benefits arrangement.
Davis's reaction to the pregnancy.
The letter Bethany receives during her baby shower.

Chelle did it again with another sweet story that hooked me and pulled me in right from the start!!!

This surprise pregnancy story brought two polar opposite people together and forced them to grow in ways they never imagined they would have to. It has the perfect amount all emotions you would expect two people in this kind of situation to have and the flow of the story was spot on. I truly loved to see how Davis and Bethany grew both separately as together.

It had moments where I was laughing, cr

Ok so I was a huge fan of the first Nashville Fury book Off The Road. The characters Hunter and Sadie just made that book 100%, so I was super excited when I found out that a book was going to be written about Davis and Bethany. I wanted to know more of their stories so Im glad this was dedicated to them.
They have this attraction to one other but they want different things out of life. But for some reason they keep getting pulled back together. I love the banter and humor that is through out th

Off Track by Chelle Sloan is an enjoyable, well-told, surprise pregnancy romance with all the feels. Bethany and Davis turn a one night stand into friends with benefits, but Bethany dreams of more and Davis can't commit. These two can't seem to stay away from each other though and when Bethany realizes that she's pregnant, both of their plans for what the future looks like suddenly take a huge turn.

This story really emphasizes the importance of family. Davis is the responsible caregiver, always

Third book for this up and coming romance reader and you would never know she is new to the scene. I have loved every one of her stories and Off Track is probably my favorite. We are back in the world the Nashville Fury, this time with Bethany who is Sadie’s step sister and Davis, who happens to be Hunter’s fellow coach on the Fury.

After a lot of begging Bethany finally gets the set up she is waiting for although hopes of long term are dashed, but what is supposed to be one night of fun turns i

I've been wanting to read Ms.Sloan's work and as soon as I found out about this book I knew it needed to be the first one of hers that I picked up! Once I started it I didn't want to put it down and finished it in one sitting. I enjoyed this story so dang much!

Davis and Bethany's journey had me feeling it all! I was blushing from the heat of these two, getting choked up from the emotion that poured off of the pages, smiling so big with every one of their sweet moments, and

Off the Record (Nashville Fury, 1) was my very first book by Chelle Sloan, and I fell head over heels for her words, and for Hunter... I mean, he is undeniably mine. So I was incredibly excited when I found out Davis was getting his own story. He was such an intriguing side character in Off the Record, I absolutely had to know more about him.

Chelle Sloan is quickly becoming a one-click author for me. I love her writing and characters so much. In Off Track, a sports romance, we get a surprise pregnancy romance with so many feels. It was emotional charming and so damn sweet with two great characters, plus past favorites.

Bethany is looking for her happily ever after whiles Davis is not looking for anything long-term. So imagine their shock when they are thrown a curve neither saw coming. I loved how each reacted and moved f

This story! HOLY CRAP!!! I definitely had to put this down because there were some events that happen that have happened to me recently and I just needed time to process what I was feeling and what the story was evoking in me. And then I had to just process the story of Davis and Bethany. But mark my words, the true mark of a great story is how it can make you feel and OH did this story make me feel!

This is the second in the series and I read the first one last month. This story features the first couples’s best friends. Davis and Bethany were set up on a date by their best friends and while the date went well, they had different goals in life but the chemistry was off the charts and they hooked up (semi-secretly — they denied it but everyone knew) for a couple months. Once Bethany realizes she can’t continue under the terms of their agreement, she ends it. After a “bonus night,” she realiz ...more

When I received the ARC for this book, I was giddy with excitement. I absolutely LOVED Hunter and Sadie's story and when Bethany and Davis disappeared that night I was so curious as what their deal was. I am so excited that Chelle wrote Davis story. I was so engulfed in the Nashville Fury world once again. I will leave ALL spoilers out because Davis's real name had me Laugh Out Loud, I had the same reaction Sadie.

A sweet, steamy story featuring some new characters, and some familiar ones (Sadie and Hunter from Off the Record.) Bethany and Davis have a friends-with-benefits situation that goes "Off Track" when feelings start to interfere with all the fun they're having. An unexpected development throws their situation even further off the rails, and they each have to work through some well-worn baggage in order to reach their HEA. Great story, likable characters with sizzling chemistry. My only critique i ...more

Chelle writes romance?!

..why yes, yes she does!! I thought the first book was fantastic! This book, however, was freakin AMAZING!! I stumbled on this author while killing time watching TikTok. I wasn’t sure how much I would like her books but found her hilarious and hoped that would carry over into her writing. It does! I started this book around 9 last night and I just finished it at 9 this morning (I had to sleep a little). It was funny, quirky, emotional (I had all the feels), and just the ri
