Charity’s Vengeance (Moreno Mafia Book three) is not a standalone, written in single pov and in Charity’s, Luca, Nico, and Max’s POV. You are in for such an incredible journey.
It took me a few days to write this review, and I kept going back and forth between four or five stars, so I decided to reread the book, got a whole new perspective, and read a few bread crumbs I missed. Long story short, it’s a five.
Book three starts shortly after book two ends. Book two is child’s play compared to this book how intense and action-packed it is. I wanted to scream a few times at Charity, felt she was reckless, and leads with her emotions. She is still a badass. But she has to act at the moment. I love how she can find the darkest secrets and plays people like a fiddle. Priceless.
Let me just say holy hell, Ann-Marie is an evil genius. She just keeps us wanting more and leaves us on edge. I almost threw my kindle across the room at that ending. I didn’t see it coming, and it crashed right onto me. On my dark scale, it’s a dark Gray. Now I need book four, as of yesterday. If you are looking for an Italian dark mafia series, look no further, I highly recommend this series.

Coming in as one of my favorite books ever, Charity's Vengeance is phenomenal!! Gripping, action packed, edge of your seat chapter after chapter kept me enthralled, moreover Ann-Marie knocked this one out of the park!! Honestly, this book never lets up, consequently I opened my kindle enraptured with each new development. Getting lost in Ann-Marie's words is one of my cherished diversions from this demented ride we call life.
Charity brings us the type of heroine I could read forever, bloodthirsty throughout leaves the
feeling she's a soul sister!! Intricately enigmatic could describe Charity's thoughts and actions throughout the book, the complex dynamics between her Nico, Max and Luca makes especially captivating reading. After vengeance this time the crew is going through some growing pains, they navigate their different relationships as well, which takes them on a bumpy eventful ride that is incredibly entertaining.
Having delighted in the twisted nature of this crew I am enjoying them in the harem also the world better watch out, Charity's teaching me some things...

Well, I've been properly destroyed by Ann-Marie Davis once again. I'm not going to give away much in this first review because the book has not been released yet (I will update once it has been including quotes and highlights). Let me just say, I never thought I could have so many feelings for a complete psychopath and Charity wears that badge proudly. There were times that my heart was crushed for her and I actually teared up. Should I be concerned that I empathize so much with a psycho? Maybe, or maybe that's just Ms. Davis doing what she does best, giving us amazing characters we can't help but love.
This book felt longer than the other two before it. There was so much action, adventure, drama, love, and sexy times it could have been split into two books. Thank god she didn't because I couldn't wait for what happened in this story. Sometimes with romance books that long I lose a bit of interest in the middle but not this one. The story is so amazing and it's not a typical romance, I was fully engaged the entire time!
The ending? Um wow! I wasn't expecting it, AT ALL. I'm not going to give away any spoilers here, I think it's best to just go into this book blind. However, I will say that I wanted to stab those Moreno men in the face at one point. I guess I was channeling my inner Charity. Personally, I think she needed to make them suffer more but I'm always into a man suffering over a woman when he fucks up.
All I can say is as soon as this gets released, click that buy button. You will NOT be disappointed. While you're waiting for it to come out get into Ann-Marie's world starting with "His Obsession" which is the first book I read from her and it stole my heart. Then move on to the Charity series with "Charity's Torment" and "Protecting Charity". I honestly cannot recommend this author highly enough.

As always, Ann-Marie delivers another brilliant book. Charity is one of my all time favourite badass women. She is literally perfect.
I feel like I could write about Charity forever. In this book she continues to be badass, sassy as all hell and still doesn't take shit from the men in her life. I loved seeing her more vulnerable side too. There were several times I wanted to slap the Moreno men, but dear god this book will grip you form the moment you start reading.
This book is completely packed with action, drama, love, adventure and some hot sex. I felt like I was on a complete rollercoaster throughout this book!
I honestly can not wait to see where Ann-Marie takes us on the next book. Cus that ending. Was just... I have no words.

I don’t even know where to begin with this one!! Charity is non-stop go go go complete badass! You can see how much everything is finally starting to get to her and yet she keeps it pushin because she has a mission to complete and she is not about to let anyone down. Lord help me with her men I seriously wanted to strangle them while hugging them because they seriously always have Charity’s best interest in mind but what they fail to realize is that babe can take care of herself!!! We get non-stop action drama and all the feels in every single page!!! This series seriously gets better and better with each book!!! Had me on the edge of my chair. Shed a few tears and wanted to throw my kindle at the wall on multiple occasions!!! 100% a must read!!! Seriously looking forward to the next book!!!

Hot damn the darkness is unfrigginreal. Charity still takes my breath away as one fiercly badassary sassy chick. She holds her friggin own and its a fresh of breath air. Their is such a lightfulness to the book too and had me laughing my head out!

My heart broke, i felt like i couldn't breath and my emotions where fully all over the place. Luca, Max, Nico & Charity's character growth is a key factor within this book and the darkness builds on them throughout.
Holyheck that ending eeeek!! I can't even function or summarise the ending!! Super excited for book four!

This story includes more of Charity's settling relationship with some ups and downs but incredible chemistry and steam, all with a mafia backdrop, an intrusive FBI agent, and a religious fanatic. And while this is a reverse harem book, relationships are individual with the sexy Italians, and it works. Pace is fluid and progressive. Scenes in the story are well-written and so vivid as to be to seeing a live movie.
Overall, an entertaining, mafia romantic suspense in a slightly non-traditional reverse harem.

Ann-Marie Davis has done it again and delivered a dark, gripping, steamy novel full of suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Let me just start off by saying that the third instalment in the Moreno Mafia series is very aptly named. Perhaps because of the use of 'vengeance' in the title, however, I imagined it would be the last book in a trilogy, as it gave me an impression of finality, or an end of sorts. But I could not have been more wrong, which pleases me immensely, as it ends on a cliffhanger. And holy sh*t, what a cliffhanger it is! Once more, I am left with plenty of questions and cannot wait for the next book to give me the answers I am desperate for.
I was completely captivated and engrossed by the perfect balance between action and character development. We see Charity, Max, Nico and especially Luca grow and their relationships evolve further, all while being consumed by the fast-paced action, which is interspersed throughout the story and not just at the end, as is sometimes the case with romantic suspense novels.
Charity reveals further vulnerability in book 3, and her anguish and sadness are truly palpable. Despite this, she remains bad-ass, strong and independent, and keeps her special brand of crazy. I can safely say she is one of my favourite female protagonists ever. Can't wait to see more of her and the Moreno men in book 4!

Where do I even start? I loved this book so much, but the ending made me want a book divorce, but I’m keeping the books, in the separation.
This was a twisty-road, where Ann-Marie becomes the puppet master of our feelings, she is very much a genius in that sense, I believe you need to read this book a couple of times, the bread crumbs are there, you’ll read parts and say ‘far out that makes sense’ or ‘well I didn’t see that coming.’
I adore the emotional whiplash it's an experience that leaves you angry, confused, and sometimes jumping for joy...but it is all in the best ways.
Theirs more growth, with on the edge of your seat action-packed moments that leave you enthralled, destroyed, happy, and completely broken, again why that ending?
The relationship between them all is deliciously multilayered (new favorite saying) their dynamic is uniquely special, and I feel like we will see it move again, but only a little, because they're so imperfectly...perfect.
Dive in, get ready to feel a little empty at the end, and join me in #whythatending...feelings!

I jumped into this without reading the previous books. However I’ll definitely be going back and reading all three as this was a brilliant read.
Charity.. wow what an awesome main female character. The three men in her life- Luca, Nico and Max had me hook line and sinker.
I totally loved this story. It will definitely be one of my favourite reads of this year.. I just need more after that ending!!!

Charity's Vengeance is the third book in the Mareno Mafia book- Reading the first two books is a must so you can have all the juicy background (and in my opinion to see Charity and the Moreno men grow).
This was my favourite book of the series so far! It is thrilling, fast paced and I flew through it. If you are looking for a high intensity book you can scream through - the kind where you can't really take a breath between hectic moments- this may be the book for you.
It is dark, mafia, reverse harem romance- and that is accurate. Ann-Marie is able to whisk up some hectic plot points and we still get that nice, rich banter between Charity and the Moreno men. And obviously the spice. The spice is still VERY much present.

Charity’s Vengeance by Ann-Marie Davis is book three in the Moreno Mafia Series. This is not a standalone and the series must be read in order. This book is from multiple first-person point of view. This is a dark, mafia, reverse harem romance featuring Charity and the three Moreno men, Luca, Nico, and Max. This book picks up right after book two ends. The transitions between the books are flawless and the reader is thrown right into the action with book three.
This book is captivating and enthralling. It is dark, action-packed, full of suspense and steam. I loved all the characters and the development of Charity’s relationships with her men. Ann-Marie Davis’ ability to pull the reader in with an addictive read. This book leaves you with so many questions and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for these characters in the next book!

I have freakin LOVED this series and book 3 did not disappoint. It continued exactly where bk2 left off! And as for Charity her character growth in this book just made me love her even more!! Yeh didn't think that was possible! She learns her own worth and I for one was cheering her all the way!!

Charity, Nico, Luca, and Max
She’s the Moreno families enforcer. They are the underboss, the consigliere, and the capo. Now they have to find the missing girl, before the cult leader and FBI get her. There’s always something to do in Mafia life!
Charity had me dying in this book! I even picked up her tapping habit! I can see why the guys spend half their time worrying about her... I could only imagine how Nico felt as she was being strangled with a smile on her face! I laughed so hard during that scene! Her parents really pissed me off in this book- even her mother was at a new low- but her father? He doesn’t deserve her love and loyalty. I love how she shared with Max to let him get closure too. It just goes to show how deep she cares about these boys! Oh! And Luca- boy did I want to slap some sense into him for most of the story, but when he makes up for it- he goes all out and leaves you swooning- until he becomes his jerky self again 🤣.
Takeaway from this novel: Boys are stupid no matter what age they are or what position they hold 😉.
But that ending... 😵

Ann continues to blow me away with Charity’s storyline. I was pulled back into her world and glued to my seat as the plot thickened further. I love all the characters and this plot so much. Charity is still the most fantastically strong female enforcer I have ever been graced to be able to read, but the rare vulnerable side to her shows up in this one. I loved how more sides of the Luca, Nico, and Max were shown in this one and how I got more in-depth view of their thoughts. As this story unfolded, I swear I thought I was going to break my kindle case from white-knuckling it..the twists were insane in this one! Ann definitely had me jaw dropped all thru out the novel, whether it was from the steam or the action, and I cannot wait where she takes this story. Now this is a continuation, book 3 to be exact, and the first two must be read in order to understand everything that is going on. Believe me though, if you enjoy an excellent mafia romance with a very strong female heroine and it’s a reverse harem like the cherry on top of a cake - don’t pass this series up.

My pulse is still racing!! This book is dark, twisting and action packed.
Charity is on a mission of vengeance and rescue. She feels like she is utterly betrayed, beaten and broken by those she trusts.
There is character growth left right and centre in this book but then there is also one (Luca) who you just want to bash a hell of a lot of sense into.
Charity is like the best FMC she may be fierce, blood thirsty and slightly insane but BUT she has this massive heart and a conscience that she shows time and time again and I cant help but love her more.
Nico and Max grow and become more self aware as their love for Charity grows BUT they still deferr to Luca and that makes my blood boil but thankfully they see the error of their ways.
Luca goes through a staggering emotional growth in this book, you like him, then want to kill him then love him.. hang on in there.
Charity might get some well deserved vengeance however nothing is ever that simple for her is it. This book is action packed and blood soaked, its heart wrenching and super steamy.. its just everything.
One danger is taken out another one comes... book 3 will be nothing short of epic.!!!

This book! All the feels! Seriously, mafia may be my new favorite genre to read thanks to Ann-Marie Davis. We are deep in it with Charity. Her never ending crusades to help those most vulnerable while walking, hell, crossing way over the line of morality. I get the same type of nervousness reading these books as I did watching Dexter back in the day. It is that fine line of wondering if she is going to survive the next few sentences! You have nothing but hope she will continue kicking butt.
You know Charity is a kick a-- chick who loves to get her hands dirty. However, you see sides appearing that are a little more telling about her emotions for the three men in her life. There is little drama between them, however, they are all in a constant state of worry for her. They know that can't cage her and hope she will soar. They all seem to love her and shower her in differing forms of affection that she craves.
Again, Ann-Marie will pull you in from the first chapter to the last. If I didn't have to work the next day, I would have pulled an all nighter to finish this in one sitting. However, I am not the young and need to rest my eyes some at night :). Definitely give this series a try, you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to book #4!

I absolutely love the Moreno Mafia series!! Charity is as bad ass as ever, seeking revenge on Father Kane and trying to save Allie from bad people who bought her at an auction.
The torture described is extreme in this book compared to the last two! If you have a weak stomach, then I suggest you try to skip those parts LOL
Those steamy scenes👏LET👏ME👏TELL👏YOU🥵🥵. Charity and her love triangle with the Moreno men is real in this 3rd installment.

Holy hell what a ride!! Book 3 in the Moreno Mafia series does NOT disappoint. This is not a standalone and you should definitely read books 1 (Charity's Torment) and 2 (Protecting Charity) first. While our Charity remains a COMPLETE badass throughout this book (despite some questionable decisions), we also see a "human" side to her, as Ann-Marie delves deeper into her weaknesses. We also get a front-row seat to her pain and anguish from the need for her vengeance.
We also continue with Charity's love story that includes Luca, Nico, Max. There are a lot more growing pains within the group and finding their places. This story is action-packed and I could NOT put it down. Many pieces come together in this book, but what a cliffhanger too! Seriously hoping Book 4 is coming!

Another action-packed addition to one of the best Mafia series’ I’ve read. And bonus points that it’s RH!
Charity’s Vengeance picks up right where we left off in the previous book. Charity will stop at nothing to do what she believes is right and will bulldoze over anyone and anything that gets in the way. I do think Charity acted a bit selfishly at times but it’s part of being so singularly focused on her goals. Badass Charity reigns supreme in this book but we also get to see vulnerable Charity which makes her a bit more human.
Nico has always been my favorite but I adore him even more after reading this book. In addition to all the action we get tons of heat and plenty of steamy moments. We also get a huge twist at the end that I didn’t see coming! Fantastic addition to the series and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

There was action start to finish in Charity's Vengeance! Charity is not only dealing with the fallout from her brother's death but the estrangement from her family all while finding Allie, evading Agent Harding, and bringing down Father Kane. There is a nice mix of action, heat, angst and surprise in this part of Charity's journey. Luca, like usual, caused some drama but I still love him. I am not going to lie, as loose ends were tied up I thought the series was at the end but then bam- I was genuinely shocked by the ending. Now I am impatiently waiting for book 4 so I can keep up with our girl.

Wow, these books just keep better and better! This one has Charity in rare form (even for her!), and she just does what she wants, when she wants to do it, with no thoughts of the consequences. Luca, Max, and Nico have to keep saving her, and it made me laugh several times, when she felt like she had to "protect" them. She is just too cute, feeling like she could protect three big, muscly men!
Anyway, this one was action-packed, and I can't wait for the next one in this dark and delicious mafia series! Definitely recommended!

I absolutely loved this book just like the two before. Ann-Marie has a way with storytelling that keeps you hooked throughout the book. There were twists in the story in all the perfect places and the ending is the perfect cliffhanger.
I loved seeing how Charity’s relationships with Luca, Nico and Max all differ and you get to see more development within their characters. Charity is sassy in the best way but also let’s her determination for vengeance to drive her decisions.
I highly recommend this book to all who enjoyed the first two books.

Ann Marie had me hooked from page one.
I love Charity and her feist, sass and confidence going after anyone who gets in her way.
Packed full of action, blood and emotions i read while on the edge of my seat.
Charity's emotions are pulled apart and had me feeling so much for her.
I love her relationship with each of the Moreno Men and how different they are to her in their own way.
And that cliffhanger, i nearly threw my kindle across the room

Thank goodness there is going to be a 4th book because that ending was A M A Z I N G!!!!!!
I was in tears when Luca let Charity go. How could he do that to her??? I thought that they loved each other? Man, I just wanted to slap that idiot. Did they think that Charity would come back crawling on her knees? NOPE! She is one strong willed chick.
Now we just need to find out what crawled up Agent Harding’s butt. Why does he have such a fixation with Charity. I was totally cheering when he get arrested after trying to choke Charity in the holding cell. But he is not done with her by any means.
I can’t wait for book 4!!!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again... Charity is the bomb!! And after this book, she is very likely to use a bomb!!
Just when you thought things were winding down, and maybe Chairty would catch a break in life... nope!! Ann-Marie Davis clearly has no plans to let our girl rest and enjoy her men!
The suspense that was building from books 1 and 2 just keeps rolling through this book, all the way through the end!!
The writing is as beautiful as ever, and the story keeps you engaged as we hop from one intense moment to another!
Charity's story is far from over and I could not be more happy!

Charity's Vengeance is a fantastic five star book!! The book starts off strong and picks up right where book 2 left off. There is no down time in Vengeance so be prepared for this epic roller coaster! This book is fast paced and filled with non-stop action, heat, drama and pure emotion. Ann-Marie Davis is very quickly becoming one of my top favorite authors. This book evoked so much emotion that I felt like I was living in Charity's world. The ending left me shattered and wondering what is going to come of Charity and Nico, Luca and Max. I love this book and I'm very invested in these characters and I can't wait to see how things turn out.

This book is so gripping and more engaging rather than the first 2 books . A lot of the story line is well written by the author . And by the looks of it , there is going to be another 4th book.

I love how it starts with the Moreno father , how he accepts her , to advice the boys to take care of her and they did . Charity on the first couple of chapters seems annoying but then again I remembered how she act all the time . She is feisty and never backing down. Getting Allie back is an intense moment. I can't even put the kindle down when its was 2am😂 as it feels like ur with charity while saving Allie.
