But her brother suffers a serious accident, and it looks like her plans are ruined. Now, she'll have to sit at home, bored, just like her Secret Sister, Erin. This series has been one of my favorites from my childhood. I have enjoyed re-reading the series this year. The stories are a little heavy-handed with respects to the religious aspects, but that doesn't bother me. Great books to instill Christian teachings and morals.

This book does a good job of clearly showing kids why they should obey their parents.

In this book the girls go on a trip to the beach and learn that the rules there parents have are there to protect them. This was done in a non scary way which was good.
