The second book in the series picks up where the first book ended. Spartan is not happy with loose ends so without his club’s knowledge he continues to search for the threat. Dani the waitress he has been flirting and becoming friends with has a past she hasn’t shared. Spartan thinks he can compartmentalize everything going on in his life, but that’s not how life works.
I am such a fan of how Ms Storm writes. Her action scenes come alive. She has a way of making you feel every emotion the characters are feeling. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

I have decided that I love the characters from the Iron Kings books. Especially the women, they are all so strong and can handle themselves and their men, while still being emotional beings. It's like the perfect heroine for me in a book.
Scott and Dani both come with a lot of baggage and a lot of secrets that ultimately make them closed off to one another. Does not make for the best start of a relationship but they figure it out in time. I love that Scott was able to find the type of woman he needed in Dani, someone so different from his wife before. With his life now and what he was dealing with he needs a strong woman who can stand up for herself. Dani seems to have trouble with Scott being even a little overprotective due to her control issues but once she realizes he is just looking out for her, that they're partners in this and on the same team together, she seems to get it. They have amazing chemistry in and out of the bedroom, their banter was adorable and their sexy times sexy!
Can't wait to read the next book for Deviant, so excited to read about him and Sky! And someone please tell me Jesse is getting a book some point! I need his story, and if he is going to keep popping up in these books it just needs to happen.

Yet one contractor on one job was cutting corners that shouldn't have been cut and when approached about it, threatened her life. The contractor's family are very important people who can make your life very difficult. After a nasty attack against her in her home, she had to close her office and go on the run. Hoping she wouldn't be found she begins working as a waitress for an MC. But, her dream is short-lived.
Will she trust Spartan and the club enough to let them in and help her save her own life? Will Spartan let Dani show him what love feels like in return? Or will their problems get in the way and cause them to lose sight of each other and what they can accomplish together?
Franca Storm did a great job luring you in and then she grabs you and won't let you go until the end. I loved every second of it. I'm excited to read Deviant's story next. He seems like the club jokester, and I'm intrigued to see how his story will play out!

Wow…so much going on. Spartan is a fantastic read. It has lots of twists, turns, things going sideways, surprises, and lots of heat. Franca Storm did a wonderful job with Spartan. I loved how she wrote Spartan in the characters own dialect so to speak. More than just from their POV, it like the way they would use certain would add certain phrases and words. Franca Storm also kept me engrossed in Spartan and I did not want to be interrupted or put it down. Spartan captured my attention from the first page till the last. I was able to actually get a good feel for the characters and their personalities. Spartan is the second book in the Iron Kings MC series and each book is focused on one MC member and their Old Ladies. I read Spartan before Wraith and felt like their was a lot of things referenced from a previous event (guessing from Wraith, Book 1). I wasn’t lost but felt if I knew what happened I might get a better feel for the characters. I plan on going back to Wraith and checking out several of Franca’s books. This was the first book I had read from Franca and it won’t be the last. I can’t wait for the next book. I believe Deviant is up next. Can’t recommend Spartan enough. It is a must read. Hope readers all enjoy reading Spartan as much as I did.

Fabulous book 2 in the series. The storyline picks up right as book 1 ends. It can be read as a stand-alone, however as the storyline and characters do overlap, I strongly suggest reading book 1 first, it will give you a much better reading experience.
In book 2 we get Scott, aka Spartan the Prez of the Iron Kings MC, story. Since the night of his Old VP’s betrayal resulting in the death of his wife, Spartan has closed himself off to love and caring about anything but his daughter and his club and revenge. Now that the club is running smoothly and his daughter is settling down, Spartan is determined to seek his revenge. But when a little spitfire, by the name of Dani with troubles of her own, worms her way into his life things start to change. Can Spartan fight her demons as well as seek his own revenge or does life have other plans for these two.
The author has written a storyline that is emotional and thrilling. I felt like I was right there in the book living the story right along with these amazing characters. I highly recommend grabbing up both Iron King MC books and diving in. You won’t be sorry you did.

The Iron Kings MC have gone through a very terrible time and the person at the center of it is in the wind which has Spartan (Iron Kings President) all kinds of itchy to deal with them, so he makes a plan to take care of the threat out there without any of his club finding out. He's not trying to do that for any other reason but the fact that he doesn't want any of his family to be caught in the crossfire again. Spartan had some flaws but he didn't do what makes me so mad about a lot of books so he's my guy. Dani is a spitfire who has been on the lamb from her past, so she won't let anyone close enough to get past her walls but Spartan is up for that challenge. They have crazy chemistry but she won't let him in, and he won't let her in, so they basically dance around each other as the sparks fly in all directions. The push & pull had me ready to pull my hair out so I found myself flinging insults of the colorful metaphor variety. So, in order to see how it all pans out (and trust me you want to know), you'll have to hit those one click buttons! I CANNOT WAIT for more and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Spartan/Scott & Dani
He'd given up on romance and women when he lost his wife. Somehow the woman he'd watched and teased for a while was getting to him. He needed to ignore her but it was getting harder and harder--pun intended. He had the club and it took time. His daughter deserved a father. His demon kept his attention above all else. Another woman in his life would only put her in danger.
Dani had watched him. He was a strong man and the last thing she wanted was another strong man taking over her life--again. But, would he? Somehow he seemed different but still strong. Did she have the strength to try with him? Could she take the chance?
I loved watching these two strong, yet needy, people give life a chance. The book is filled with a wonderful growing relationship, MC brothers and their women, danger, and plenty of steam. It has all of the parts of a great read. My only reason for a 4-star rating is that for me his poor grammar was not only inconsistent but didn't seem to fit this very intelligent man which distracted me.

This is the second book in this series and they should be read in order. Spartan can’t let go that Knox got away. He has been dancing around Dani for the last two years. Now definitely isn’t the time to try to start something with her when he is still out there. Or is it? Spartan is having a hard letting go of the past and finding a way forward. Dani is having that same problem. Except she is doing better than Spartan. For her it is more that her past won’t let go of her. Could these two help each other more than they know? I loved this book so much. Spartan is a strong alpha male. He wants to protect everyone in his club and connected to him and his club. Once he gets involved with Dani he worries about the past repeating its self. But, Dani isn’t like his previous wife. She is strong and independent. This book is emotional and action packed. These characters are wonderful. I am loving this series and can’t wait to read more books in the series. Fantastic job Franca.

I really recommend reading Wraith which is book 1 before this one. Because you are missing out on some action and learn about Nemesis💀

Scott/Spartan is a delicious sounding guy 😉 and who doesn’t melt at being called “Love”?!! Dani’s use to powerful men since she’s an architect, I like her backbone, and both characters have doubts like normal people do!! Good book!!

This excellent action packed suspense filled MC romance story.Spartan is hell bent onrevenge.He wants the people behind taking everything he loved away from him.He's the president of the Iron kings mc.Spartan is wired tight he does everything he can to protect his daughter and his club.Spartan vowed when he lost his wife he'd never let any woman in again because he believes its a certain death sentence. This story will keep you on the edge of your seats and the characters are captivating.The story will touch deep and you will laugh,you'll cry and so much more.Spartan notices the beautiful waitress at the diner he goes too although she tries hard not to let herself be noticed.There are so many twists and turns you'll be riveted until the very last page an leave you begging for more.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

This was an action packed, romantic, tasty little tidbit in the Iron Kings MC series.
I love Spartan! He is an alpha male that actually gets that you don’t have to do something alone. Your woman can indeed be a partner. Of course in Wraith, we saw he can be a super over protective dad and man but with Danni he recognizes that she is indeed strong enough to be a partner. However, he fights his own demons when it comes to Knox and others from his past and may not be able to keep Danni like he wants too.
Danni is hiding something from everyone as she feels like she must to protect them and herself. Spartan brings things out in her and helps her in a way no one else will. She loves that he lets her be herself and pushes her to do so. She has to be willing to fight him for what she wants.
The chemistry between them is hot and sweet all at once. I love the bits of family and MC brothers we get to see and speculate on for future books in the series. With Spartan you get a glimpse of a man and woman who are strong as individuals but together they can be unbeatable!

I have been intrigued about Spartan since the start and let me tell you, Franca Storm does him justice in this push and pull romance between a broken and jaded MC president and a woman on the run but not from what you think it could be! Spartan has a tragic past. My heart is broken for him as he is hell bent on revenge for what happened to him and his family. Then you have Dani who has been a fixture in his life as a waitress that he seems drawn to. But her past is coming back to haunt her on top of everything happening with the MC. The chemistry between these two is sizzling. Even with the hot and cold moments, you can feel their connection regardless of how much they try to fight it. There was the right level of intensity with the drama and so much more that made this book flow perfectly. I am so glad I picked up this series because it is a great one!

This is the 2nd book in this fascinating series and continues straight on from the #1 ended. Spartan is haunted by his demons and want answers and he is determined to get revenge, while protecting his daughter and his club, and continues his search with his club knowing. Dani is on the run and working as a waitress, and the chemistry between her and Spartan is sizzling, but will they take a chance on each other? Spartan tries to keep his distance from Dani to protect her from danger. This is a well written story which is filled with danger, twists, and is a steamy and all-consuming read. I was hooked and intrigued throughout, and I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.

Goodness is Spartan
I started on this book due to the reviews and I am pleased. It was so good. Spartan is a true gentleman. He is all Alpha for sure along with his MC brothers and BFFs Finn, Jesse, and Deviant. However, once her set his mind to have Daniella in his life, he did not hold back. He put on full charm, love. It was so enjoyable to read because you enjoy the respect and full attention of a gentleman. Dani is a strong character too. I especially liked how Spartan cared enough to be her partner and not bulldoze through Dani to takeover their relationship. Also he acknowledged her need for the comforts of life versus his MC life and they both made allowances for each other. Goodness is Spartan. Read On!

This story centers around Spartan and Dani and their dancing around each other. Spartan, Ashley’s father from the first book of the series and the Prez of the Iron Kings MC, has had his eye on Dani since she moved into town two years prior but it can’t go anywhere. See he believes he doesn’t deserve love again because his first wife, Ashley‘s mom, was killed in the crossfire between him and his club and the betrayers of the club. Dani has flirted with Spartan but always on her terms, she has to be in control of their interactions. Dani is on the run and her demons catch up with her sooner rather than later, will Spartan be there to save her? Will he take the chance of starting something with Dani when his former club member is out there ready to strike?

I just found my next book boyfriend. Spartan is a book you are going to love. He is sexy, pure alpha male and the President of the Iron Kings MC. And he is still looking for Knox Price the villian from the previous book. With the help of his friend Jesse they start their search for him. He also decide he wants to take his relationship with Dani to the next level. But with Knox being out there, Spartan is afraid to bring his and Dani relationship out in the open. Also Dani is hiding secrets about her life before coming to Ridgefield. This is a must read if you are a fan of Ms. Storm.

The President of the MC, Spartan, is well named! Logical, and precise in his actions, he carefully plans and thinks of every scenario when handing out orders. He is a fierce protector of his daughter, and his brother's. He has strong contacts due to his military background, but Spartan also knows the sting of betrayal and loss. I loved his character. He is the type of man any woman would want. Strong, confident, sexy, and dominant with a whole lot of alpha running through his veins.

This was another hit from Franca! I have become obsessed with her writing over the last few months. The way she makes you connect with her characters is a gift.
Most of the time I will fan girl the hero of books. BUT with Franca's books, I am always fan girling the heroines! Holy crap. Dani is so strong and is exactly what Scott needs.
This book has a lot going on but it doesn't take away from the love story. Gah.

Another great book to add to the series. I loved Spartan and Danielle’s story. The storyline was intriguing, captivating, action packed and entertaining. Scott and Dani’s relationship was a long time coming but they had emotional turmoils to get through and some battles to fight. But they got their HEA. The story moved at a good pace and was a smooth read. I loved it and I am looking forward to reading Deviant’s story next.

If it WEREN'T for...
I get it. Your main male character is a biker Prez. But if it weren't for the strange colloquialism, I would have truly enjoyed this book! This man is obviously a highly decorated veteran. Highly intelligent. If there were other oddities in his speech or patterns of thought, then it could be more acceptable. But it just felt contrived. Perhaps some more research into the lives of biker clubs with a lot of military veterans as club members?

The future
Sometimes a man has to deal with his past demons in order to move on to his future! Spartan and Dani have been friendly for 2 years flirting. But when it’s time to make a move, will things work out? They both have things they are dealing with. And one of those things have been hidden for the past 2 years. Now they both have to deal if things will work out. This was a good read.

Wow, this book had me hooked from page one. I had to know if Knox will finally get his revenge. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Spartan and Dani together, they been flirting for two years. And when they give in they have to climb hurdles. They are explosive together.

Scott “Spartan” Tate and Dani.. Wow! Loved their story, their connection and their banter.. and their chemistry is off the charts. The storyline grabbed me and it definitely kept me on the edge waiting for that final battle and it was awesome and unexpected all rolled into one helluva story.

Yet another great book
Wow these babass bikers are something else. Spartan is just delicious ,but having so much trouble after his wife's death he's just carrying alot of hate towards the person who killed her . When him & Dani start getting close ,he then finds she has issues too . Read this to see how their story unfolds you won't be disappointed

Ohhhhhhh such a sweet story!
Yes it has bikers and lots of action and blood and gore and its still such a sweet story
Seeing Dani and Scott finally making it through all the secrets and hardships was absolutely beautiful.
Once more the author has given us a great story and this time its about the Prez of the MC.
Filled with action and emotions this book was really hard to put down.

I absolutely love this book. Spartan is all alpha male and the club is his life. He is 100% bent on getting revenge. Dani makes him think that for once he might have a happy future. Don’t miss this epic read. Excellent writing.
