Alice is back in the frighteningly reimagined apocalyptic Wanderland, facing new challenges and old enemies alike as she searches for her sister Dinah with the help of some familiar faces. The story throws readers into some thrilling action right from the start, and while the middle dragged a bit for me, it ended with some exciting conflict and revelations that are sure to have a significant impact on the next part of the story. I'll be looking forward to seeing what happens to Alice, Chess, Din ...more

The sequel to ALICE, Broken Glass, is equally as amazing as the first. I was pulled in right away and enjoyed the twists and turns it held. Sullivan does a wonderful job connecting readers to her characters and giving you an emotional roller coaster through their adventures.

The plot moves quickly and holds you in its grasp until the very end. There are just enough moments that make you "gasp" to keep you going through the whole thing. I read the story in just a few days and loved every single s

I really enjoyed the 2nd book in the Wanderland Chronicles. From some of the reviews it sounds like there are a lot of Alice in Wonderland re-tellings with the zombie theme but I haven't read any of them so I guess I could enjoy these books a little more without it feeling repetitive. I know zombie are a big thing everywhere but I find when it's done well I can still go along with it. I loved all the characters. The Red Queen, the Jokers, Fawn, Bug and Lewis. It was so sad when Alice had to kill ...more

The second book in the Wanderland Chronicles carries forward most of the characters from the first volumes, including some new ones. It draws inspiration from Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There, although I think it doesn’t track Looking Glass as closely as the first book tracked Alice. While we met the White King and Dum and Dee, and I think the Dormouse, there were some other references added as well. For instance, I’m pretty sure there is a reason that we meet Lilith on our w ...more

Broken Glass picks up right where book one ended. The worst has happened and Alice feels responsible. She wants to fix it but there is much more at stake.

I love Chess! We needed him! I had to mention that before I moved forward with my review. Alice has been through so much. I like how she wants to do the right thing and still has hope in a world that is filled with betrayal and danger. Some new characters are introduced and there’s one I don’t care for. Maybe that will change with the next boo

Wonderland has never been more horrifying!

J.M. Sullivan as done it again. Broken Glass is the sequel to Alice, her re-telling of Alice in Wonderland. The war with the Red Queen has become personal and desperate. Alice finds new allies in her fight for survival and the hunt for her sister, Dinah who has been transformed into a monster.

With more action than many thrillers, Ms. Sullivan keeps the pages turning till the last page. It had me cheering during the climax and chilled with the final outc

I really enjoyed this sequel. It was a page turner that kept my suspense alive. Alice is thrown back into Wanderland in search of her sister. She is thrusted into Eden but unsure if she can trust Hiagha. When she’s forced to leave Eden she finds herself back in the Red Queens quarters where she finds a horrifying truth. I loved every minute of this book and the ending was just perfect.
What a disappointing sequel. More violence than substance.
