USA Today bestselling author Cassandra Robbins returns with a scorching second chance, age-gap love story about a Rock God and his muse.

I know what I want.

So when opportunity knocked, I took it. I grabbed my shot, willing to do anything to make it happen.

From the beginning, I knew I was destined to be with the six-foot-four, bourbon-eyed Rock God. Only back in the early days he wasn’t a god.

Rhys Granger was my brother’s friend, the boy next door who wrote verses and played his guitar in our garage. He was talented. Exciting. Damaged. The kind of guy who made all the girls cry…

Except for me. I thought I was special. Turns out I’m not.

And now… I despise him.

He’s the lead singer of the Stuffed Muffins, one of the biggest bands in the world, with dark hair, full lips, and a body to die for.

Unfortunately, he’s a dick.

Not that I care anymore. I have my own career. I’m successful in my own right. So, when offered another once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I turn it down.

But the universe has other plans, and I’m forced back into the savagely glamorous world of rock ‘n’ roll. Thrust into battling his seductive smile, his dangerous kisses, and my own addictive needs.

He might be a Rock God, but he’s also a man. And I’m the woman he never saw coming.

----

Get your VIP pass to the hottest world tour this year. Rise is a complete standalone in the Rock God series. Stage dive straight into Rhys and Gia’s uncontrollable attraction. With appearances from beloved past characters, this is my most scorching book yet.

*Review with slight spoilers.*

This book could be the manual for unhealthy, destructive love. We first meet the H he’s seventeen, and has impregnated his not-girlfriend. He gives her money for an abortion and while she’s sitting on the couch crying, he grabs a different girl off the couch and takes her behind the house to f*ck.

The h is seven, and she tells the H that he ‘makes all the girls cry.’ She claims that she’s going to marry him when she’s older. She’s sitting on the couch with the groupies.

When the h turns 18, she finds a way (by lying to her friends and family), to get into the H’s bed. The melodrama and angst following this is ridiculous. It showed how immature both MC's were. She runs off, he doesn’t give chase.

Eight years later. The h is 25, and a sought after photographer. She’s dated a few men but hasn’t forgotten the H. (Because she has an unhealthy obsession with him)
The fucking groupies...are nothing but gold diggers trying to steal my man and my life.
The H has continued living his rock star life of drinking, drugs, and LOTS of groupies, rinse and repeat. The instant he sees the h again, he’s all boner. She is his ‘muse’ not because she helps him create music, he was doing that long before she was with him, but because she numbs him. His life of debauchery has left him feeling alone and horrible.

At 65% they hate f*ck even though he has a gf, by 90% they still weren’t together. Then it’s a “Say Anything” ending that I didn’t buy.

You don’t fall on someone's genitals on accident. The fact that they both do this after proclaiming how much they need and care for one another is gross.

Side note: The name of their band is awful ‘The Stuffed Muffins.’ You don’t want to know how they came up with that.

Can someone tell me

My gosh this book!!!! 🥵 It's definitely one of those you wouldn't want to read in public or one you can't resist and just read it wherever you are but not without constantly looking over your shoulder to ensure no one is reading with you or looking at you with their judgy eyes. 👀

RISE is the first book in Rock God series by Cassandra Robbins. It feels like it's been forever and a minute since I've added this book to my TBR, frequently visiting her GR and FB pages willing for its release date to come sooner than later. Finally, it's here and it did not disappoint!🥺 This series is a crossover from The Disciples series which I loved so much. 🖤🖤🖤

What to expect..
🎙️ Age-gap, second-chance romance (10 years)
🎙️ Hot, sexy, dangerously good-looking, possessive Rockstar hero 🔥
🎙️ A very determined heroine
🎙️ Steamy and embarrassingly swoon-worthy smut scenes 🤑
🎙️ Equally attractive & lovable side characters
🎙️ Interesting portrayal of the life of a famous rockstar
🎙️ Moments that would make you sigh & have heart-eyes😍
🎙️ ...and scenes that would frustrate the hell out of you and make you cry. 🥺

Seriously... more than the smut, it's the heartache embedded in the story of RHYS and GIA that made this book such a page-turner for me. Even as their past is being told where they're happily in love together, you'd feel an underlying tension awaiting to burst their bubble and destroy what they fought to have. I loved how a moment in Rhys' past sort of foreshadowed an event in their future, something that he would have to regularly worry about because of his lifestyle and wayward ways. And boy, did it break them.💔 Their story is gripping. It felt all too real and all-consuming.

There's just SO.MUCH.FEELS. I can't even begin to decipher how Rhys survives his every day life as the lead of Stuffed Muffins (I'll get to their band name later on). Each day for him and his bandmates is the same as yesterday and the day before that: wake up with a hangover, reach for a bottle of booze, light up a cigarette or perhaps smoke a joint, fondle a groupie or two, go to rehearsal, perform, get wasted, pass out... repeat all over again.

It's a stream of endless flights. A blurry of hotel rooms. Back-to-back concerts. Crowds of faceless people. Nights fading into days. So much booze. Different drugs. And sex is just everywhere for them, literally.

Rhys, Ammo, Cash, and Nuke aka The Stuffed Muffins are experts in compartmentalizing their lives. Their personalities and the mystery shrouding each of them were beautifully written and I really felt all the emotions. In this book, it was portrayed how fame, success and wealth can only take you so far until you give up and just let life happen only to realize it's not even gotten you near where happiness is. 😟 Like I said, this book is so full of angst and is a really great intro to the Rock Gods. 🎙️🎸

I can't wait to delve further into the lives of the rest of the Stuffed Muffins and read more of Rhys and Gia's HEA. 🖤

P.S. Why Stuffed Muffins? I was wondering myself and I was kinda disappointed to not find any explanation from this book. However, I was directed to a free novella that's supposed to cover the beginnings of the band back when they were just called The Dicks (ikr? lol). Click the spoiler only if you don't mind not reading said novella because it just basically tells the story behind the name. I'm telling you now though... it's nothing deep and it may even generate an expression of 😳 or 🤢.

Talk about ANGST- Rise is overflowing with it. From their unforgettable and forbidden beginning to their ensuing chaos, Rhys and Gia are nothing short of steamy, emotional turbulence. But boy are they compelling-the reckless, sinful rockstar and his bold and devoted muse. These two have a chemistry and an intensity that is practically a palpable beat-an arresting melody just thrumming off every page. What a wild and entertaining journey these two take- a story befitting these two uniquely daring, but guarded, souls. Completely consuming from start to finish!

This is a story told in parallels- past and present, desire and fear, risk and safety. It all begins in a garage- one full of unrealized hopes and dreams and a childhood crush, with a teenager who later finds himself as a Rock God, the bad boy front man of the (hopefully ironically named) Stuffed Muffins and his best friend’s much younger littler sister that idolizes him. Years later Rhys has even more fans, but his one true fan remains the now grown up Gia. Armed with naive courage and years of longing, she decides she’s finally going to land her leading man as she cleverly engineers her way to being on tour with the band- and sparks fly. But these two have a love story that is far from serene- heartbreak, toxic mistrust, mistakes, and misunderstandings combat with their undeniable need for each other. This is a couple that takes years, and multiple chances to get it right.

Rhys is just delicious- edgy, a bit broken, controlling, and obsessive, he’s the quintessential rocker alpha. Parts of him are deeply flawed, like his selfishness and his emotional repression, yet he has a magnetic charisma and a hardened vulnerability that makes him as endearing as he is frustrating. And Gia is just fantastic- she has a youthful vitality and optimism that make her shockingly bold. I loved her fire- her sass and resilience and fortitude. But, she has a soft and open heart- one that beats for Rhys. And soon, she learns that his heart beats for us too. But their age gap and familial challenges are the only sources of conflict between them. Cassandra leans into the trope, and the rockstar lifestyle- drugs, groupies, scandals, press, artistic demands, and travel- all work in concert to try to dismantle their fragile but intense beginnings. Things are just complicated- and when their feelings are already complicated it’s a recipe for a really messy situation….and MESSY it is.

While I didn’t always understand their choices, I loved how Cassandra stayed true to them. These are two people trying to figure out how to love each other under extraordinary circumstances, when they both have some baggage. That’s not easy- and while at times I wanted to shake them to just trust each other, to just TALK IT OUT, I just had to sit back and let these two beat to their own drum. Their intensity, their chaos, because both are a bit lost. Rhys has lost his real self and been replaced by the rockgod, and Gia has somehow found an existence that only matters when she’s loved by Rhys. Their own struggles and their unhealthy foundation makes for explosive emotions and riveting chemistry, but also for mounds and mounds of angst. The longing, the push and pull, the irrational draw to each other. But the magic is that they find each other not just in each other’s hearts, but also by breaking them- a painful journey that has them figuring out how to refind themselves just as much as trying to refind their way to each other. And, an added bonus, is we get loads of character cameos along the way to spice up the story- especially since Gia just so happens to be the little sister of Disciples MC’S Axel. Now that’s one brother you don’t want to cross.

There’s a lot of drama, so much angst, but oh my is this book sexy. Rhys is a poet with his dirty mouth, and I loved watching him corrupt and own the feisty Gia. But I also loved their soulful connection- they quite literally consume each other, so much so it’s hard to understand how one heart beats without the other. But that’s their journey- figuring out how to survive without each other, in order to figure out how to survive WITH each other. Two hearts beating as one.

Cassandra more than lived up to it. Granger. Is. Everything.

Two things about Rise that I think are the most important for anyone reading to know.

1) If you’re not looking to become pregnant…..wrap it up. This one is so hot, sexy and steamy I’m convinced it could create some immaculate conceptions. Or just make you really go jump on your significant other. So remember that!

2) You’re going to want to pad your ereaders. The Rock God is going to put you through every layer of emotion you could even imagine. And for a large portion you’ll be torn between throwing your kindle across the room or stroking it. That’s the facts.

Cassandra brought us into a new world with The Stuffed Muffins and I am their newest #1 fan!

The history you get of these characters in the first half of Rise is so well done, it’s an epic love story told from young to hardened and weathered. And the peeks we get of our favorite Disciples and TSM characters in their younger years is almost my favorite thing about Rise!

Because In actuality, Gia Ana Fontaine is my favorite. A woman after my own heart. Strong, vulnerable, a subtle naivety, who knows herself (even when she doubts herself)! Like in her previous books before, Cassandra writes my absolute favorite females of all time!

This is one of my TOP Rockstar Reads EVER!!!!!!

Y’all aren’t ready. This book… THIS. BOOK. This story is just PHENOMENAL!

Cassandra is going to break your heart and put you back together. These characters and this world… This is a place I would love to visit. I am beyond obsessed with everything Rhys Granger and The Stuffed Muffins and want Gia to be one of my best friends.

And let me tell you... my Kindle almost melted quite a few times. The chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS HOT with these two. And I'm not talking about your average off the charts hot... I'm talking about the sun is no competition for these two.

I. LOVE. THEM.

Get ready to be immersed in the gritty and beautiful world of Rock n’ Roll… This is ABSOLUTELY Rockstar Romance at its finest.

Good Lord, what an emotional roller coaster ride! Cassandra Robbins has a special way of ripping your heart out and slowly putting it back together again. And then having us come back for more and more. What a wonderful story with a ton of great character development. Rhys and Gia are just super real. You don’t always like them in the story, but you always love them. Rhys is completely obsessed with Gia. He’s jealous, he’s possessive, and maybe just a little insane. She is his muse. Gia has always known she wanted Rhys ever since she was seven and he was 17. She’s a little immature, but nobody’s doormat. She’s sweet and feels everything. When they’re together they’re incendiary. All the fire. All the drama. Ugh, it was great! Completely out of the ball park!

Rise is the first book in Cassandra Robbins Rock God series and can be read as a standalone. It is connected to her Disciples MC series, but not required reading to enjoy.

This was a well written story about a raw, gritty, angsty and messy love between an h who’d grown up loving the H. He was a neighbour and best friends with her older brother. The brother and H were 9 when the h was born. The h knew she loved the H and would marry him at 7 years of age.

The H becomes an international rock god and the h a renowned photographer.

They reconnect after years apart and both feel the pull and spark between them. The presence and claims of groupies and distrust and the general rock lifestyle get in the way when the h is 18 and H 27.

Years later, when the h is 25, they reconnect again. Both have been with others. The h still harbours a grudge but the spark is too much to ignore.

There is a lot of alcohol and drugs consumed by the band. Future books of the band will be interesting to see how the band members tackle their demons.

There is some pull and push between the H and the h but just when the H feels confident they are settled, the h’s best friend gets in her ear to unsettle her about the relationship and she runs…again. The H is reminded of his mum running when he was younger and is devastated.

The h is also devastated and is due to be at her brother’s wedding. She barely pulls it together for the ceremony. The wedding and the guests Were a segue that was filled with messy scenes but I suppose it was a set up for future books and a way for readers to connect with characters from previous books.

Both the H and h had been miserable without each other so the H and his band decided to do something big about it. The H decides to win back the h with inspiration from John Cusack.

Overall a solid read but I did get a bit of whiplash with all of the push and pull at times.

I do give out five star ratings but this shit = lmao no way.

“Granger wants to see you now,” she snips. Heat floods me for numerous reasons. One, she said the magic word, Granger. And two, how dare he send a fucking whore to get me, like he’s some kind of… king, god, rock star. Whatever, I refuse to participate.

'I shouldn’t go near her. But the bro code went out the window the moment my cock discovered her tight pussy. I’m not gonna broadcast that I’m fucking my friend’s sister or anything, but I’m also not denying that I want her.'

'It’s been a week since she left. A week of shit. Like the fucking dick that I am, I’ve had woman after woman brought to me, maybe to remind me I’m fucked. One after another they come to me as I try to use them to block out her smell, the taste of her lips.]

A five star worthy romance (eye roll emoji if I wasn't on a desk top). Add in the typical rock star tropes and I am supposed to believe this couple has a HEA - fuck off - he'll be cheating in five years and she'll be playing dumb or running off, then running back cause he's so 'hot'. She leaves him and he fucks around but she is celibate. I just can't with this sexist double standard.

After reading the far superior Grip the contrast was even more obvious than it usual would be for a romance genre.

This author also has a thing for man whores and celibate heroines - but in a way I find disturbing. I won't be reading anymore of her books.

Where to begin??
You know how almost everyone has that "safe" author. It doesn't matter what they write you know you are going to like it. Well, Cassandra is one of my "safe" authors.

And boy she didn't dissapoint.

Rise, book number 1 in the Rock God Series.

Rhys Granger, oh God. I repeat once again, fictional male characters written by a woman.🤭

David was my number one damaged boy, but Rhys can join him anytime and three of us can be happy forever. 😉🤤 also get the feel a certain band memeber will join the party as well.
This man, THIS MAN!!! He is filthy, hot as a sin and a Rock God (duh). I'm not spoiling, but you will love him. Trust me.

And the heroine, damn, Gia, baby girl. She is so fierce and wasn't afraid to go for what she wants. And who knows me, knows that I will always and I really mean always prefer a feisty heroine, so this book was a candy treat for me.😌😌

To give a book 5 stars, the book has to give it all. The great characters, good plot and all the feels. And yes, this book has it all.💫😌

My Kindle highlights are on fire🔥🤣, probably more than the half of the book is highlighted and filled with bookmarks.
I really can't wait for the release day to discuss it with the world🍀

And this book wasn't just great because of the explosive story and a heart-breaking journey of the two main characters, but because of the all side characters😄😏
Tea time, drama and angst so be preaperd. Some scenes took me by surprise.
There are so many possibilites for future books and I honestly don't know whose story I want first.
Who am I kidding, I do, I have been bugging Cass about him for forever now😂😂and of course I spamed her with questions.

"I take a breath.
One.
Two.
Three. "

This book was an emotinal rollercoaster, I cried, laughed and raged, that good it was. The Stuffed Muffins forever🔥

Cassandra Robbins just knocked it out of the park in Rise. It was one of the hottest, most sinful and most emotional rockstar romance I have read in the long long time. Rhys is the proverbial broken bad boy rock god who made me hate him and then love him and then break for him spectacularly. And Gia is the fierce heroine with softest heart who just won my heart completely. And their journey full of rock and roll entertainment, sizzling hot chemistry and angsty feels was perfectly imperfect.

Gian Fontaine loved Rhys Granger long before he became the rock god and his band The Stuffed Muffins became rock sensation. But she is off limits because she is his best friend ( and now the VP of Disciples MC) Axel's sister. Their paths collided and heartbreak happened. Gia was completely destroyed when she made a plan of elaborate lies to go on a tour with them and Rhys ends everything. Now they are face to face again after eight long years and this time, Rhys won't let her run.

This was more than a rockstar romance. A bit for forbidden thrill of age gap and best Friend's sister. The pain of second chance romance. The thrill and depth of a romance spanning across time and cities. Rhys always had issues. He is an egomaniac ,overbearing, eccentric and reckless artist. His early life was dark and desolate. Music is the only thing that saved him. He still holds that idea of being not good enough and the fear of being left. And that brings on the self destructive part of his personality. He loves music but rock god status comes with a lot of baggages. The fame. The addiction. The debauchery. The pressure. The groupies and fans sucking out everything. And Rhys embraced it grandly and lost himself piece by piece. Then came Gia with her goodness and her innocence and her beauty and above all, her fire. She didn't let him act his usual arrogant ahole alpha everytime ( except behind doors). She challenged him and forced him to see how much they need each other. I just love this sassy and fierce girl .Their connection is explosive and soul deep. She is his muse and he is her only love. I could literally feel my heart breaking and drowning in feels slowly. It was a powerhouse of emotions and I am swept away by it. The rockstar life put their love to taste. And they failed and got hurt but finally they had their happily ever after!

Cassandra Robbins knows how to hit me with feels and melt me with steam. Rise was just an amazing rockstar romance and one of my top 2021 read.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this book could have done with a little less spice and a little more tension/angst. The characters were just not my cup of tea. The book is divided into two parts (the past and the present) and there just wasn’t enough of a believable connection in the past for me to get on board with the whiplash between the two characters in the present.

Also… Stuffed Muffins? Could the band name be a little sexier than that?

And… I couldn’t get over Rhys going by his last name Granger. It reminded me of Hermione Granger from Harry Potter every time.

I hate when authors cannot let characters from previous books go on to their HEA and stay there and on the other hand, I hate when authors set up side characters for future books. And this is what happened in this book. CR mentions or gave every character from previous books a word in this book and brought in new characters that had as any words as the MC'S .It was so annoying and took away from Gia's and "Rock God's story. I feel the author wanted RG to have a muse so badly that she didn't develop their relationship. Granger (RG), for no reason starts saying she's his muse even though he was "ROCK GOD" long before he laid eyes on an adult Gia( 9 yr. age gap). All aspects of this book was developed except for the most important part, the main characters. There were some many damn ppl from the Saddington's, the Weddington's, the Bikers, the Stuffed Muffins( band name), baby mama's😔, shit let me stop. And if this review sounds/reads fucked up , that's because it is just like this story 🙄

If you love the wild, hedonistic lifestyle of rockers- sex, drugs, and rock and roll- then this is the book for you. Cocky, talented, and every young girl's dream Rhys Granger is the ultimate Rock God. With Rise, Cassandra Robbins brings us a new adventure with the wild boys of The Stuffed Muffins.
She always brings us a well-written story filled with angsty goodness, heartwrenching moments, and passion that will set the pages on fire. Rise is no different.

From a young age, Gia knew who and what she wanted, and it was Rhys Granger. Even after years, that fact never changed until she decided to make him hers. Rise is their tumultuous and rocky journey.

I loved the brother's best friend aspect of the story. I loved the tension between the characters, and having a juicy bit of Axel in this story made it all the better!

These two will test your patience and often have you wanting to shake some sense into them. The sex is off the charts, but I will admit at times, I wished they would've resisted the urge and had a conversation. Gia frustrated me at times. I didn't always understand her logic or way of thinking but ultimately I loved these two together.

It was great seeing a glimpse of previous characters from her other series and seeing how their lives intertwined over the years.
I didn't feel that "brotherly" connection between the band members. While they had each other's back in public, there was a hint of tension and drama between the members behind the scenes. It was intriguing, not typical of other bands I've read about. Stories we haven't yet heard maybe? I'm curious about that. I hope to see the connection between members grow as the series progresses. I'm excited to read the other members' stories as they face their demons and find love. Ammo particularly has grabbed my attention.

So many roads have been opened with this one book, with potential storylines and characters, and I cannot wait to see which fork we take for our next Cassandra Robbins adventure.
All in all, this was a good read with a few shocks and surprises along the way. If you love rockstars, definitely give this one a try.

Rise is what your heart rate will do along with the temperature of your skin as you are captivated in the world of Rock God. Rhys and Gia's story will consume your every thought as the angst and emotions overtake you. The sex scenes will have you nearly combusting as the authors words have you feeling every sensual moment between these two. The chemistry is electric and the sparks fly from the pages. As the passion, chemistry and drama play out between these two you will fall hopelessly in love with this couple. A story that wraps its way around you so tightly that you just don't want to let go. One of the best rock star books I have read in a long time.

An fmc calling women "skanks"... and slutshaming...

Instant 1 star for me.

Also,

"I saved myself for you!"

Meanwhile the mmc doesn't even recognize you as he's literally trying to hook up with you... and you're prioritized with other women "stealing your men..."

Ugh, authors are dedicated to writing pathetic fmcs these days...

Oh, Rhys! Get ready for a love/hate relationship with this bad boy!! Rhys Granger is Gia Fontaine’s brothers best friend…a rock god…and a total pain in her well, you know. She used to have a huge crush on him when she was younger and he wasn’t a huge star but nothing lasts forever or does it? When Gia gets the chance to photograph none other than Rhys and his band, The Stuffed Muffins, she takes it and her chance to make him see her more than just a child. Rock stars, drama, broken hearts and everything in between is what you’ll get in this fast paced, rock star romance. Told in both the past and present so you get the full picture and maybe you’ll even get some Disciples cameos too! Buckle up…you’re in for a wild ride. Rhys can make anyone want to sin with him! Oh and…He.Is.Pierced! 😉 I just cannot say enough about the brilliance that is this story! The characters and the true to life rock world will keep you engaged the whole time reading. I need to see the other band members get their stories told ASAP. A definite top read of 2021! Told in dual POV

A Great Rock Romance

First, I have to say that I love this author’s work and I was so happy when I seen that she had written this rock romance. This book took off running from the very beginning and kept me enthralled until the very end. Gia was ten years younger than Rhys but let him know when she was just seven years old that she was going to marry him someday.

This book was full of angst and sure brought the heat. I can’t speak highly enough of this book and this is just the beginning to a rock romance series that I can’t wait to devour.

Raw, gritty, all-consuming love. The kind where you need the other person in your life to function, be a whole person, they are the air that you breathe! The kind of love you only get from dating a tortured, forsaken, rockstar genius. This is definitely that kind of story and I am 100% here for it!

Rise was a tragic emotional tale between Rhys (Rock God) and Gia (Axel from Ignite younger sister). From a very young age, Gia was convinced they were meant to be together so she embarked on a journey to make Rhys truly see her and not a 7yo girl. Rhys self-loathing and reckless rockstar lifestyle did not lend itself to a stable relationship especially with vulnerable 18yo Gia.

This was a solid read that I was thoroughly invested in. The toxic relationship between Rhys and Gia was so gripping I devoured this book. Bonus points for the scene when Rhys and Gia reconnect for the first time and Rhys doesn’t recognize Gia. HOT HOT HOT.

Although this was a spin-off series, characters from the Disciples MC make an appearance and it is helpful (but not necessary) to read those so you are familiar with some of the side characters. I am definitely looking forward to Julianna’s story!

Wow! Y’all, this book! It will grab you from the very beginning and it won’t let up until the very end. Rhys is everything you want and need when it comes to a famous rockstar. Gia always knew who she wanted and she stopped at nothing to get him. I felt every emotion with both Rhys and Gia, having your heart break and by the end having it put back together. I loved getting the history of both their past and their present. This new world of rock and roll will rock your world. Their broken and damaged yet fun and exciting. I can’t wait to see what Ammo, Nuke and Cash have for us.

This story is Cassandra Robbins at her ultimate best! I thought I had died and found my very own rock god in Rhys Granger, even though he could be an a-h-….But then, what I felt for Gia transcended those thoughts. I loved Gia’s tenacity and heart. Her determination and feistiness won me over. My favorite heroine for sure! And meeting The Stuffed Muffins has me full of anticipation for what’s to come! Bravo Cassandra!!

i’m conflicted about this book, on one hand it was a welcoming change of pace from the overdone rockstar x pa to clean his reputation trope. on the other, even though the idea of the story was refreshing, enticing, the execution was lacking (too much sex, too little angst)
part one was what really got to me, and that’s saying a lot because this being a second chance romance i enjoyed them at first better than at last. then it started getting too repetitive; both conflicts were the same, there was no growth, no groveling, a lot of sub-plots were left unresolved. i wanted more, this had so much potential, but i still do hope to get the rest of the band members’ books.

Wow,this book was crazy good. The chemistry between the main characters was amazing , off the charts passion and angst.
Fierce female & an alpha-hole Rock God… what could possibly be better?
