He's a tough cowboy. She's a wild ride and the daughter of his family's enemy. Will they let passion win out, or will it tear them to pieces?
Noah was raised apart from his family. Now, he's trying to fit in with the Calhouns. But fitting in isn't always easy when you've been a loner. A roll in the hay with a gorgeous woman fits his lifestyle. Falling in love was never in his plans.

Molly Granger's lived a hard, dedicated life to her father. A man she loathes but has pledged her loyalty to-at least by all appearances. Her only focus has been revenge, even at the cost of her own life. Her goal is thrown off-kilter the day she meets Noah in a bar.

The connection between Molly and Noah is raw and intense, but neither one wants to admit their attraction. A wedge forms between them when Noah finds out her father is enemy number one.

Trapped between desire and vengeance, will they find a middle ground?

Armed with books in the crook of my elbow, I can go anywhere. That’s my philosophy! Better yet, I’ll write the books that will take me on an adventure.

My heroes are a bit broken but will make you swoon. My heroines are their own kick-ass characters armed with humor and a plethora of sarcasm.

If I’m not tucked away in my writing den, with coffee firmly gripped in hand, you can find me with a book propped on my pillow, a pit bull lying across my legs, a Lab on the floor next to me, and two kittens running amuck.

My current adventure has me living in Idaho with my own gray-bearded hero, who’s put up with my shenanigans for over thirty years, and he doesn’t mind all my book boyfriends.
If you love romance, suspense, military men, lots of action and adventure infused with emotion, tear-worthy moments, and laugh-out-loud humor, dive into my books and let the world fall away at your feet.

I’ve enjoyed this series. It’s best to read them in order. Granger is after Calhoun land no matter what, he’s very underhanded. Noah unknowingly hooked up with Granger’s daughter Molly. They have such chemistry, but can he trust her? Loved getting multiple points of view and updates on prior characters. Loved how quickly Noah falls for Molly, she’s quickly become so important to him. Had some tears towards the end, but thankfully there’s a very happy ever after. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I recommend this book.

I love this series! There is another evil man named Granger who wants the Calhoun land as well as Wyatt’s land. I was glad to see Noah being attracted to a woman for more than one night. I know he had to be shocked when he found out the woman he was attracted to is Jane Granger’s daughter and working against Noah’s family. He is determined to get to Jane and find out what she is doing for her father. As always, all the other children are there to protect their land. I enjoyed the back and forth between Noah and Molly. There is a funny scene when Noah gets caught in Molly’s office. There are some happy and sad happenings with the other family members. I felt so bad for Molly and the guilt she felt because of her father. I don’t want to give anything away, but the whole book was exciting. I can’t wait for the next book! I strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.

Only bad things can happen when you find yourself head over heals in love with the daughter of your family's mortal enemy, but that is exactly where Noah finds himself after a lust filled evening with a stranger at the local bar. But will the two only be allowed a one night stand? Or will more lies and deception keep them in each other's arms all the while the families are at each other's throats? Can true love prevail? Holy crap this book was intense. Not only was the attraction between Noah and Molly off the charts the hurtful and revengeful acts of violence brought on between the feud for land and money kept me on the edge of my seat. It's always great to see the mighty fall.

Teaser

“What kinda trouble you looking for? The Calhoun’s aim to please.” The cold river water splashes on my jeans as I make it out to her. She has her paddle dug into a rock holding her in place.
“I don’t want any trouble, just out enjoying the day.”
“Well, go relish it somewhere else.” I point down river.
“You aren’t being very neighborly. I thought country folks were friendly.” She plasters on a fake smile.
“I reckon you’ve been mislead.”
“You’re were cordial in the bar.”
I laugh. “Is that what you’re calling it?”
She lifts the paddle, splashing me. “A mistake is more like it.”
I grasp the end of the kayak, aiming her downstream. “Go home and tell your daddy, he ain’t getting his hands on this land.” I give it a little shove and she rolls it over in the water. When it flips back over, she’s not in it. She emerges splashing her way toward me. Her wet hair is clinging to her chest and her nipples are glaring at me through her swim shirt.
“I will go home when I’m good and ready.” She tugs the rope on the kayak behind her, walking past me, parking it on the bank. My eyes follow the water glimmering down her thighs.
“Now you’re trespassing.” I swallow hard to get the words out.
“You tipped me over in the kayak. What did you expect me to do?” She whirls in my direction, swinging her hair over her shoulder.
“I did no such thing.” I splash toward her.
“I’m not leaving until I’m good and ready.” She plants her hands on her curvy hips.
“Don’t make me throw you off this property.” I get nose to nose with her.
She sits.
I lean down, picking her up.
“Put me down!” she hollers.
I walk over a few rocks and toss her into the deepest part of the river then make my way to her kayak.
“You bastard!” she yells when she pops up out of the water.
“I told you this was private property.” I lift the craft and pitch it into the bed of my truck.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing, cowboy?” She’s soaking wet, brushing the hair out of her eyes as she storms up the river bank.
“Anything found on private property becomes the owners. Wyatt will enjoy your expensive toy.”
She rushes toward me with her fist flying into my chest. I grab her wrists in one of my hands and turn her toward the water with the other. “You are one stubborn ass wild ride.”

In earlier books we’ve gotten to know a little bit about the newest Calhoun siblings, Noah and Jane. In Wild Ride, prepare to get a much closer look into Noah, his sister Jane, their relationship with the other Calhouns, and of course – the instant chemistry with Molly Granger. Noah is trying to find his place in the family, having fun, and living his life. Molly appears to be all business, cold, and the exact opposite of Noah, except for the little detail of having off-the-charts chemistry from the first time they see each other. Once they figure out who the other is, there’s an ongoing battle knowing they should steer clear of one another, but also not being able to keep their hands off one another.

If you love crazy and intense chemistry right off the bat, then prepare yourself for Noah and Molly. There has been no lack of steamy moments in this series, but Noah and Molly are on fire! Anyway, Wild Ride showed me so much more about Noah, as well as, his sister Jane and how they are trying more and more to find their place in the Calhoun family. Noah is laid back and easy-going while also being a hard worker. He’s finding his way as far as being a rancher and is ready to get himself better settled on the ranch. When everyone realizes that they have to battle Granger over land, again, Noah steps up and is just protective over the family and the land as any of the other Calhouns. But the main issue, Molly is with the enemy.

Now, onto Molly. All of the female characters in this series have been strong, independent, and often hilarious women. Molly is definitely one of the more complex though, and I love her! This woman suffered a horrible trauma growing up and at first appears to be insanely loyal to her sleazy father. But not long into the novel, we realize that she has been carefully plotting revenge against him for years. She’s had one goal forever, but after meeting Noah a softer side slowly starts to appear. Like Jane, Molly’s character has many layers and it was an absolute joy watching each of those layers be peeled back to reveal who she really is.

And you know what? I think she became one of my favorite characters of this entire series.

I have so much praise for this book that I could spend hours typing away about it. It has the sexy, fun, playfulness that each of the installments have in this series. There is serious conflict both externally with the Calhouns fighting Granger and internally with several characters struggling with difficult choices to make. Tension builds over and over in this story, but there is also that fabulous humor that we have come to love with this family. And for those that loved the last book and getting a better look into Wyatt, prepare yourself for both sweet and heart-wrenching moments with him and Margret (Kleenex alert).

Wild Ride is a must-read for fans of western romance. It’s about family, protecting what is ours, love, and surviving whatever life throws our way. You will feel tense, you will cry, you will laugh, and most likely have to fan yourself a time or two. Overall, you will not be able to put this down. I am once again amazed and in awe of Kelly Moore. Her ability to create and bring to life masterful characters and stories within multiple genres is like nothing I have ever seen. My only negative thought after reading this is, “what happens after every character gets their story?” I absolutely do not want this incredible series to end.

I loved the dynamics between Molly and Noah. Their combustible chemistry, snarky banter, and their advance and retreat relationship are fascinating and entertaining. They have to deal with family loyalties and disapproval as well as the unexpected feelings that are growing in their hearts. Molly and Noah tell each other to stay away or that they are done, but end up back in each other’s arms. Her father is a snake in the the grass determined to destroy the Calhoun family and grab their land, no matter what it takes to do so. Molly is an unexpected but welcome ally for the Calhoun’s, but can she be trusted? The whole family has to use all their wits, wiles and talent to outsmart Molly’s father, but losing the land deal doesn’t mean he is done with the Calhouns. The ending of this book will give you chills, while also demonstrating how the Calhouns pull together in times of crisis and offer each other unconditional love and support.

I love the vivid and real-to-life characters is this book. Molly is a tough, grittily determined woman with a wild streak who wants two things...revenge and Noah. Noah is finally finding his place with the Calhouns and is more than willing to stand by them in times of trouble. Always the player in the past, Molly captures his attention and then his heart. This book provides more glimpses into the lives of all the couples from the past books in this series. It is easy to love all the Calhouns and the people that became part of family. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

Wild Ride is exactly that…a WILD RIDE! From the first intensely hot scene to the gut-wrenching ending, author Kelly Moore has blended together a perfect mix of characters and storyline once again in this 5th book of the Whiskey River Road series. Wild Ride includes a bit of all of the Calhoun’s in it, but the main romance focuses on Noah and Molly.

**Noah, a Calhoun by blood, has his hands full with a newer addition to the town, Molly Granger…if her name sounds familiar…it’s because her father is none other than Peter Granger, and that is a line that should NEVER be crossed!

This is a “never-a-dull-moment” read! It is fast paced and HOT! The characters are AMAZING and there are so many personalities that come together to create this incredible series. It is not a standalone! This series needs to be read in order, but believe me…THAT IS NOT A HARDSHIP! It is a romance read with suspense, heat, a lot of humor (some of it is crude humor…LOL), chemistry, and fantastic characters! Add in the twists and turns and it makes this a book you don’t want to put down! Definitely not your grandma’s romance novel! LOL 5 bullseye shooting stars!

Kelly Moore has a way of taking people who suffered , were deceived and broken and bring some light, love and happiness in their lives.
Molly seems like a woman who can handle anything. She seems sure of herself, a little full of herself, she's beautiful and is likely a very passionate person. She's all about business with no strings attached. She's somehow torn between loyalty and vengeance. Something is off about her and Noah is determined on finding what that sexy wild attorney hides.
Noah's life was turned upside down in the past year. His twin sister Jane and him found their biological father and even thou he was resentful at first , he fell in love with his new family and bonded with his siblings and made new friends. Noah is willing to protect his family no matter what.
Molly intrigued him and since their first wild encounter, all he wants is to get to know who she is and protect her.
One of my favorite book in this series so far ! It's still wild and crazy how the Calhoun Clan always find themselves in weird threatening situations but as usual their strong personalities, stubborn characters and deep family bond will pull them thru.

This is my favorite series from Kelly Moore. She is a fantastic writer. She knows how to make me fall in love with her hero's. This book is no different. Each new book gives me a new hero to be the favorite. Noah is no different in this book. He is a strong take the bull er girl by the horns kind of guy.He knows what he wants and not a thing is going to stop him. Heck even figuring out who the hot firecracker he shoved against the wall was the next day didnt stop him. She is the Molly Granger, daughter of the meanest S.O.B in town. She wants to bring down her father with out anyone else's help. That is until she meets the Calhouns. Who is going to survive this fight? Who is going down?

I love how all the other characters are still weaved into the main story. We always catch up on the happenings with Clem, Wyatt, Bear, Ellie . Tihs book is my favorite right now but I am sure it will change when Jane's story comes out.

I suggest you walk no run to the nearest computer and get yourself a copy! You won't regret it!

Exceptional - If you haven’t read this author, she is not an author,to be missed and this series, is a great start. This is the 5th book in the series. I liked it the best and I have loved the series so far. The story continues on about the Calhoun land. Granger, evil to his core, wants their land as well as Wyatt’s. I loved the romantic connection for Noah and Molly. He was, obviously more than a bit shocked when he found out that she was Jane Granger’s daughter. Noah wants to find out what part Jane is playing or if she’s doing something for her father. There are some chuckles - one had me almost falling off my treadmill between Noah and Molly when he got caught in her office. Kelly is exceptional at creating these interesting characters and connecting them to amazing friends and families and before you know there is an entire group of people you can’t wait to read about. I can’t wait for the next book! I suggest you read in order to get the most out of it. Highly recommended.

The Calhoun clan is back

Noah and his twin sister have just come into the Calhoun clan when their father claims them as his after not knowing about them for their whole lives. He’s overwhelmed and pleased with this. When he sees a beautiful newcomer to the local watering hole, he has himself a taste, not knowing that she’s the daughter of his family’s greatest enemy. What will he do? He’s torn between the family he’s just gotten and the woman that sets his heart on fire.

Molly wants revenge. But it’s not on the one that everyone thinks. Her father treated her mother like trash and has never had a good word for her. So she plans well, never expecting to come out the other end alive. When she meets Noah and the Calhouns, she tries to keep her distance. She doesn’t want anyone else to be caught in her father’s crosshairs. But the heart wants what the heart wants.

Wild Ride ~Whiskey River Road bk 5 by Kelly Moore.
A brilliantly written romance with intrigue and suspense, passion, heat and with some scary bits all rolled inside.
Wild Ride is book 5 in the Whiskey River Road series, that I have been following and reading from the very first beginning and I enjoyed every single story in it.
Each story is about a different family member of the Calhoun's, this is Noah's story and wow what a wild ride this is.😉
The plot is so good, full of energy on every page that keeps the reader wanting more.
I can't recommend this enough, it is incredibly promising, I feel that I know these characters personally and am at a lost now that I have finished it. though I am looking forward to the next one. Thank you so much, Kelly, for this truly amazing story.

This series just keeps on getting better!

Noah is dealing with the fallout of his decisions to protect the Calhoun family when a new threat comes to light in the form of an old enemy. At the same time, he meets a woman who takes no punches and loves to live on the wild side. Let’s just say things are only going to become more complicated for the family before the dust settles.

This was an epically wild ride!
I get so excited each time I pick up a book from this series. I feel like I am going through all the ups and downs alongside the Calhoun family. How much more heartbreak and turmoil can one family take. I cannot wait for Jane’s book.

I read this book voluntarily for an honest review.

Another amazing book by Kelly Moore! I love how she writes and brings you into the world of each book! I love that we get to read about each family member. Noah isn't out for anything series until he can't get the woman from the bar out of his head. Molly is trying to bring down her father but she falls hard for Noah and is afraid for him. This book is so good. It just sucks you in and doesn't let go. This book has family, friendship, laughter, love and mystery as well as a little tragedy. I can't wait for Jane's story to unfold next! If you’ve read any of Kelly Moore’s series, then you know she’s a great writer. She sucks you in and has you flipping the pages until the end. Wild Ride is no exception. This book is centered around Noah and Molly. Molly is the daughter of the Calhoun’s newest enemy, Peter Granger. This was a more emotional read for me, due to the happenings in this story, but now I need the next book, lol. I just love these characters and I’m so happy we get to catch up with everyone from the previous books in each new book. Grab your copy and see what’s happening in Salt a Lick, Kentucky.

Noah is a newish Calhoun and learning his way around the ranch and the family. Molly is wild child of an enemy. These two are gas and matches when in the same room. But neither can really trust the other. She is working for her despicable father against his family but he just can't stay away.

She wants revenge and she is carefully planning it out. But Noah keeps throwing her off track. She finds covert ways to get what she wants but it may cost her everything.

There are fun and sweltering moments as well as laughter and tears. Kelly can tear you up and fix you up in no time! I love the whole Calhoun family and Noah has earned his title as a Calhoun son!

Now to wait for Jane's story. :)

There is nothing I can say about this book that isn’t going to be a spoiler. This story is the textbook definition of riveting. I. Could. Not. Put. It. Down! I was surprised and blown away at every turn. Noah and Molly are such amazingly complex characters. They’re perfect for each other. But that ending just about killed me. I’m not even going to try guessing what the author will give us next. I just know that I NEED to read it.

I love this family. They band together to protect what is theirs. Noah may be from another mother but he is a true Calhoun . His half brothers and sisters have embraced him and his twin sister, Jane as part of the family. When Noah cares for a woman with whom they share a common enemy, he protects her with the help of his family. Noah decided he wanted to be a loner, never having to be tied down. That notion blows with the wind when he lays eyes on Molly Granger. She captures his attention. She has to prove she can be trusted.

Book #5 has Noah Calhoun working and living with the family he never thought he would fit in with so when he meets a wild beautiful woman one night at the local bar he did not know that she was the daughter of his families enemy who is trying to take away everything they own. Molly has lived a tragic life thanks to her ruthless father so when he kills her mother who he never married or helped in any way she sets out to make him pay. Loved this suspense hot romance from beginning to end and they characters were so perfect for each other. Can not wait for the next book in this series.

Newly found Calhoun sibling Noah fits in well with his siblings. He loves the ranch life, doesn’t want a commitment, and loves his family. While this book was technically about Noah, the whole Calhoun clan is very much involved in this book. We get to see a whole lot of what’s going on in all of their lives plus see Noah and Molly fall in love. The book is packed full of drama, angst and suspense. Can’t get enough of the Calhouns!

ARC for honest review with no compensation

Wild Ride is book 5 in the Whiskey River Road series by Kelly Moore. While each book is about a different couple reading them in order give you so much history and truly this does become a Wild Ride!!

Next up is Noah (the son by a different mother) and Molly Granger, the daughter of the Calhouns worst enemy who is out to take all their land.

What starts out as a hookup without names becomes so much more as the story takes on lots of twists, turns, steamy connections, lies, deception, suspense, laughter and so much more!! Can’t wait for the next book (Jane’s) in this series!!

Wild Ride was a good story, the plot and characters were strong, the story was written well. Noah and Molly were made for each other. They may have had a few bumps along the way but they completed each other, the connection they had was strong, their chemistry was sexy, they were good together.
I enjoyed this story. Thanks, Kelly Moore. Good work :)

Wild ride, indeed! One minute I’m laughing and the next I’m crying.
I was anticipating Noah and....well, if you read the first chapter that end of Kentucky Rain, we didn’t even know who his mystery woman is! Of course, we find out who she is and the wild ride ensues!
There is a part of this story that I’m not sure I liked but it wouldn’t be a Kelly Moore story without some strife.
I give Wild Ride 5 stars!!
