I was interested in this book more for a different perspective on tracking deer. There was great info on what dogs may make good trackers/tips on training them. The info on tracking in general, I would recommend to any deer hunter.

I wasn’t as impressed by it as others, mainly due to the writing style. I suppose if you use it as a reference books it’s OK, but I don’t recommend it for beginners who are looking to ease into it.
