In the Astral Wanderer and the Forest of Tears, the author (Langlois) creates a horrifying and immersive story that keeps the reader excited and, most importantly, thirsting for more the more they read. Everything, from the unknown protagonist to the strange landscape he navigates and inhabits, is a mystery in want of pursuit, I am particularly drawn to cosmic horror novels and, while this one deviates from the usual formula in a genre-bending manner, I emerged from the experience quite delighte ...more
