One minute, I was a bird, a raven guardian for my sister.
One minute, I had my parents—granted they were birds as well—but they were there, right alongside me, their voices in my head.
Then, the next second, I’m

This series has literally just taken off in such a way that I can’t describe, but honestly Jessica Wayne really knows how to keep you hooked to the edge of your seats.
I thought that we was in for one wild rollercoaster with the first three books back when it was about Rainey and Elijah, but nope…. This is just getting more and more juicer and steamier.
It was quite refreshing getting to experience what actually happened all those years ago with Delaney, as from what we know it was a mystery and

The two main things I enjoyed within this book were how well the supernatural world was entwined with the modern day world; kind of gave me Vampire Diaries cross with Twilight (supernatural council etc.) vibes, and the way witch magic had so many different layers to it.

The story itself was intriguing with a few extra bits of interesting information and plot twists I wasn’t expecting, and the last 30% of the book was epic; it really seemed that Delaney was starting to find herself aga

Busting barnacles boo! Jessica throws one helluva smackdown with this scintillating rock-our-world rollercoaster, dishing out some relentless kickassery with a side of boot-stomping justice, catapulting this incredible, bad boy to new heights. Temperament and ingenuity in each thread you unravel with every page, your lured into this intricate web so securely and precise, observing the heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, block busting, nerve racking encou

Well. . . I need book 2 ASAP, cuz that cliffhanger. . .

First off,
I love the world Jessica created for the vampire hunter chronicles! Now we get Delaney’s story. The glimpses we had in books 1-3, had me excited for her perspective. Delaney was a BA hunter, but now she is something else entirely. Watching her struggle through her new reality and limitations was something I felt like I could connect to. We all have seasons of change that happen to us as we grow older. I didn't lose hunter magic, b

“Curse of the Witch” is both the fourth book in the “Vampire Huntress Chronicles” by Jessica Wayne, and the start into a new chapter into the Chronicles that focuses on Delaney’s and Cole’s story.

Two years ago, tragedy stroke, Cole lost control, and condemned Delany to wander trapped somewhere in no-man’s-land between life and death. Some part of him died as well, as he left her blood covered body behind. Now Delaney is back in the realm of the living, but far from free, someone is stalking her

Love this series!! Just the whole paranormal world and premise work for me; love all the magical elements, all the different paranormals, the fun and dangerous action, and the kick butt heroines!

This one is about Delaney; Rainey’s sister, who is having a bit of a problem since the whole thing where she was dead and then not dead. Delaney’s problems are far from over; especially with some bad things after her. The enemies are aplenty, but Delaney has some awesome powers! It just sucks that’s she

F'ing awesome!!! ❤️
If you loved Rainey and Elijah's story, your mind will be blown with Delaney and Cole's 😳🤯
I feel a little bad for saying this, but I think this story is better, maybe because Rainey and Elijah are here, of course, part of everything that is happening in this book, the thing is, OMFG!!!... This book is so unpredictable, full of intense emotions, everything Del goes through (as if she didn't have enough), all the caos in this realm and in Faerie... Is just so f'ing much for ever

Holy Cow what a freaking awesome read. It pulled me right in and totally blew my mind. Delaney back from the dead and not used to having power. Cole running and hiding cause of the past and what he feels he can't have. Rainy, Elijah, and the rest have a big battle with all kinds of supernatural beings will they be able to stop it all before the real threat reveals who they are?
An absolutely fantastic read that has everything and so much MORE. Twist, turns, so many emotions, heartache, and some h

Oh My Goodness !! I wondered how Jessica was gonna be able to proceed after Blood Hunt cuz that was an awesome book. This one is great... I love the world of Billings that Jessica has provided for us. Oh the suspense and then you think you know what’s gonna happen and nope not gonna. Jessica says ha gotcha... Delaney is a great character and Cole, I mean who could blame him for staying away. I understand. Delaney getting to know her power is a trip. I really like her friendship with the Fae. And ...more

Back to Billings we go! And I couldn't be more excited! Del is back, in a way no one could've predicted! This book carries over from the end of Blood Cure, book 3 in the Vampire Huntress Chronicles. It made me so happy to be reunited with my friends from the first trilogy, and Fearghas, Rainey, and Elijah don't disappoint! Enter more Cole, and you will be drooling, if not wanting to punch him for awhile! Del has some major adjusting to do, but unfortunately for her, there's some nasty witch busi ...more

Back from the dead in the empty body of Jane after she died, Delaney is struggling to figure out how to use the magic still in her new body. She is also coming to terms with no longer being a hunter even though she still feels like one. Every faction in Billings is changing allegiance. Delaney finds out about her mate bond with Cole and they finally do something about it just before Delaney and Bronywyn are tossed through a portal by none other than Lucy. This wonderful story is full of action a ...more

I'm hooked on this series. I got the book and read it right away now I'm sad I have to wait more. I can't say enough good things about this series. Delaney is a fabulously strong heroine, back from the dead and being stalked. In this book we see her struggle and grow into her new role. Jessica Wayne no only tells a good story but she weaves a wonderful blend of supernatural and realism into the totally captivating tale. Yes be forewarned this is a cliffhanger but it so good that I suggest just j ...more

I have really fallen in love with this author! I read the Blood Hunt series first and loved it. This spin off series has been a great way for me to continue reading about characters who I had already fallen in love with. If you haven't already read the Blood Hunt series I suggest you read that first so as so limit confusion. It is another great supernatural romance filled with hidden gem plot twists. This book has answered questions that I asked myself while reading Blood Hunt. Can't wait for mo ...more

The first 3 books of the series had to do with Rainey and Elijah, now even though it is labeled as the 4th book of the series, we have Delaney (Rainey's sister) and Cole. It is part of the same world but you do not have to read the first 3 books to enjoy this one (although if you are like me you can't resist reading a full series). This book has a little bit of everything no matter your taste.. well other than the must enjoy paranormal type genre of course. Their story is not done though and so ...more
I really wanted to like this book. I wasn’t a fan of the second and third book of the series, but I was hoping I’d like this book better since it focused on Delaney and off of Rainey and Elijah. Per usual, the relationship feels so forced and unnatural. I would have much rather seen a romance bud between Delaney and Fearghas, they had SO much more chemistry. I didn’t feel any chemistry between D and Cole. If an author has to tell me they are mates, but I can’t feel it when I read their interacti ...more

In true jessica fashion this book is pack
with so much action, blood, and humor!!!! i was laughing like a fool and occasionally throwing my arms up in the air! Its so freaking good!!! The oldest Astor sister is back! now she gets her own story with everyone by her side. After the events of Blood Cure nothing is the same. A full on War has begun: good vs evil. Alliances are broken and new ones are made. Everyone is out for themselves and Delaney is the main target. She holds so much power but is c

This picks up wonderfully where book 3 left off. Delaney and Cole's story is not to be missed. It seems as though each book can just keep getting better. You have to read the first three, before you start this one. It is so worth it. Great Story! No spoilers here, sorry.

I lived getting her perspective on everything because she is so relatable and I loved that she is getting her own story arc. Can't wait to see what happens with her next. Also loved seeing Rainey and Elijah get there own moments too. Love love love it. Can't wait for book two :) ...more

So glad this series continues with Delaney’s story. I fully enjoyed this world Jessica built in the first part of the series with Rainey. I am fully invested in these characters and how things play out. This book does not fail. I must say Fearghas is QuickRing becoming my favorite character!! Can’t wait to see what comes next!
