Experience God’s Unstoppable Breakthrough and Blessings!
You may be facing an issue that seems like an insurmountable mountain in your life. Or, your circumstances may be so difficult you feel surrounded by walls with no way out. You ask God to knock down those walls, just as He did for Joshua at Jericho. But they’re still standing. Sometimes, God removes the obstacles from our lives immediately and dramatically. But what can we do when the mountain doesn't move, when the breakthrough doesn’t come, when God’s promises aren’t fulfilled, even when we pray?
That’s when we have to plant ourselves in God’s Word and presence and let Him take us over our mountain! The breakthrough starts as our roots grow deep. This is what Joseph did when he was in the pit and the dungeon. “Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a well; his branches run over the wall” (Genesis 49:22). He grew over his wall, his mountain, by adopting a heavenly perspective rather than an earthly one. The result was a multitude of blessings for him, his family, and the world.
You can rise up over your own mountain of difficulty, opposition, or hindrance. As you do, that mountain won’t look as high as it used to. Every negative situation will divinely position you to be where you need to be in life. You will rise over circumstances you thought were too powerful for you. You will rise over the wall of limitation that once surrounded you. You will rise over the dead end or impossibility that threatened to defeat you. The trials of life have no power to stop you from being abundant and fruitful in God, receiving His blessings, and fulfilling the plans He has for you. Then, your breakthrough will become a breakthrough and blessing for others, too, enabling them to rise over their own mountains of difficulty.
Is there something standing in your way of progress and forward movement? What can you do? Do you go over or around the obstacle or just stand there and hope it will move out of the way?
With God all things are possible. That's something the time we hear from when we first attend church. But do we know how to practically apply that?
This study is a good one for Christians who want to learn how to go around and over those obstacles stuck in your path. It would be good to do as a group. It is well written and I enjoyed reading it.

Grow Over Your Wall: When Your Obstacles Don’t Move, Go Beyond Them! is my first introduction to the inspirations of Matt Sorger. I thought this book was pretty good. It gives some great advice and tips on how to get away from negatively that impacts life. I thought it had some really good points that I hope to start using and continue to do so in the future. I will be keeping this on my keeper shelf so I can keep it handy and remind me how to deal with complicated issues.
I am giving Grow Over Your Wall: When Your Obstacles Don’t Move, Go Beyond Them! a very well deserved five plus stars. I recommend it for readers who are needing faith, inspiration and spiritual growth.
I received Grow Over Your Wall: When Your Obstacles Don’t Move, Go Beyond Them! from the publisher. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
Getting over or around obstacles in life is difficult. This book has some great things to say about different ways you can make that happen. This is a good book when you've reached a point in your life where everything just seems to stop you in your tracks and you don't know what to do.
God is always the 'go to', but we actually have to go to Him and trust him. I will be keeping this book to look to later on and share with others. I like that it points us toward God and away from the negative in life. We need to focus on Him and not the world. I will read through and study this again at a slower pace and in more depth next time.
It was a 5/5.
Thank you to the author/publisher for the review copy of this book via Celebrate Lit. I received this book in exchange for an honest review and the opinions stated above are 100% mine.
Oh how I love when God places books in my path that I need to read. This is one of those books. The current state of the world has us feeling hopeless, but this books reminds us that WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. This Pandemic has a lot of us feeling alone - and the author reminds us that God is ALWAYS there. He patiently waits for us to call out to him. I loved seeing his breakdown of the story of Jericho. I can't imagine being one that was marching around it for so long wondering what was going to happen. This would be a great small group study especially those that are still learning to trust God. The author has done a great job in backing statements up with Biblical truth. That is very important in books like this. He has done his research.

My daughter and I were talking about the very concepts in this book this summer, and then the book came out and it was one we wanted to study together. I’m so glad we did. It was packed full of truths and set up well for us to study and learn together. This is one I will be sharing with friends (maybe doing studies with them) and inviting others to join in. Great book. New author to me, but one I definitely want to read more from.
I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit but was not under any obligation to write a review. All opinions are strictly mine.

We all face complications in life. This study is an excellent one to go through to remind us that we are not alone, that the God of Joshua, who took down the walls of Jericho, if the God that we serve. I loved the reminder in this book that nothing is to difficult for God. I look forward to going through this book at a slower pace next time. This book is an excellent resource to help grow your faith!
