Charming, beautifully written, and hopelessly romantic. Isn't it just so great when you find one of those books that completely drags you in, makes you fall in love with the characters, and demands that you sit on the edge of your seat for every nail-biting moment of it? This is one of those books for me. Read this series. You won’t be disappointed.

A challenge to connect to story and characters:
I had high hopes for this book but unfortunately it fell short for me. It was a bit stilted and the way it was written had me struggling to feel immersed in the story. It also felt a bit like tug-of-war as just when I felt I was growing closer to the main characters, they then became more aloof and distant.

I would have liked to give Lost in LA 4.5 stars. I would have preferred the relationship to be a little less insta-love and a lot less repetitive in the will she or won't she drama. What made the book stand out to me in a good way was the interactions with those outside the couple and the larger social issues it brought up.
If you're looking for a typical contemporary romance, this isn't the best story for you. If I were rating the relationship alone, I would have rated it significantly lower. B ...more

“What happens between lust and love?”
So I found myself lost while reading this book and not in the immersed myself into the book lost from the world type of way either. I very much struggled identifying with Wylie's resistance. In the beginning and various other times I understood her reluctance but I really felt like she was given lemons to make sweet lemonade but she kept finding ways to make it sour.

When we first meet Wylie, she is totally down on her luck and has to end up living in her car. You feel her pain as you go on this journey with her. When she meets Nolan you even cannot help but like this kind, teasing guy. There is something about him and his generosity, but he has a huge secret.
It is easy to enjoy this love story, but there were times I got lost in the dialogue because it was so much. It did feel like it was slow at times, but that is not a reason to not read this book. There ...more

I really liked the “ride” this book took me on. I loved Nolan and Wylie together. It had twists and emotions and of course a fake relationship that is used to mask feelings, it was a wonderful rollercoaster. And of course has a HEA. This is my first book by this author and I would highly recommend her and this novel. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The first couple of pages pulled me in then it couldn't hold my interest. DNF.

Told in third person, but I enjoyed the constant first person thoughts of the heroine. The characters were each cute, and fairly well developed. However, I found the storyline pretty slow and a little dicey. Quick topic or location change, then slow on the storyline again.
I also had a few issues with word choices/editing errors.
