Do you believe in Kismet? Or Karma? Divine intervention? 7th houses and Aquarius? Murphy’s Law? Stepping on cracks? Black cats? Eh, it doesn’t matter. I do. (In all of it—just not all at the same time)

So yesterday, I opened up Jonny’s Redemption to start my read. But before I could start an alert popped up on my iPad for Pinterest. So I popped over, for just a sec to see what was up. Now mind you, I was only planning to see what had popped up on my alert. But it’s Pinterest and I became Alice an
This one really went deep pretty fast and made sense. Jonny and Bobby have been dancing around each other for a while, so they knew each other. Them sharing painful parts of their past was part of them cementing themselves as a couple. From there on out they were 100% in each other's corner. Things happened and the other would be there for them. I also loved how everyone in the gang chimed in, but most especially Macy and Evie and their hear felt words to Jonny and Bobby about the other, it was ...more

Jonny’s Redemption is the final book in the Gemini Group series and it is bittersweet as always when characters we love and their stories come to an end😢

Bobby and Jonny are just PERFECT for each other and more similar than either realised because of the way they grew up and their experiences❣️I hope Riley has a Rock n Roll series of sorts as a spin off in the works, so we can find out more about Penny and the man she ended up with😍

Jonny's Redemption (Gemini Group Book 7) by Riley Edwards was a very poignant emotional love story between Jonny and Bobby each dealing with demons from their past but through all of the pain these two will have to go through, will the love from a determined woman allow Jonny to achieve redemption? This story will have you laughing and crying as you take this journey of rebirth between these two amazing characters. Jonny is dealing with guilt and hate for his father and brother as well as the se ...more

This is book 7 in the Gemini Group series and while it could be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the previous books before reading this one as events in those books lead up to events in this one. In this one we (finally!!) get Jonny's book with Bobby!! Jonny has felt like his life is spiraling out of control for months. And when one more thing happens, he withdraws from his life. Bobby knows she will have to be the one to help pull him out the hell he is in, but she doesn't know whether ...more

Such a great ending to a wonderful series. Johnny Spencer has had to deal with a lot of heartache and lies since he was a young boy. LIes that he was forced to keep up appearances by his family. Forced to watch his brother slowly destroy those around him.
Bobby Layne is a force to reckon with. She's fierce and loyal to those she loves but deep down she isn't just she's enough to be loved for who she is. The girl for the holler, one whos momma left, father mistreated and brother is worthless. She

Riley Edwards ends the Gemini Group series with a sobfest (at least for me) as I've been waiting for Jonny and Bobby's HEA and boy did Riley Edwards delivered.

What an emotional read! As a reader I truly feel the chemistry between Jonny and Bobby, each of them have their own tragic backstory which sucks the reader in. Lieutenant Jonny Spencer is such a tortured Hero, he has been pushing Bobby away because he felt that he wasn't the best man for her. I love it when Jonny made he decision to be all

We all met Jonny in Nixon's book, the first in the Gemini series. As the series progressed, we only came to respect his bravery and admire what a genuinely good man he was. However, we also came to see just how damaged he was. Since being introduced to Bobbie in Chasin's Surrender, she has been a solid side character. Riley has brought them together to be in the Gemini series's final installment, and oh, what a beautiful tale it was.

Riley provides the mystery and suspense that drive the story a

What an amazing ending to a series that has been one heck of a ride and the final story has Jonny finally snapping, quitting his job as a Lieutenant at the Sheriff’s office and going off grid. Bobby is having none of that and after a few weeks interrupts Jonny’s solitude and finally finally they give in to their attraction. They both have skeletons and secrets in their pasts and to move forward together, they have to stick by each other when the darkness in their pasts comes to light.

Every time I think I FINALLY have a favorite Riley Edwards’ book, she goes and releases a new book. Welp, this was no different! Swoon worthy!!! I have loved Jonny’s character from the first time he was introduced and the same with Bobby. You could see the writing on the wall for these two characters - and what a story it turned out to be! Without giving too much away, I think my absolute favorite part of this story is the fact that they were both “all in” from almost the beginning of the book. ...more

Such an emotional read about two people trying out the past behind them and move forward.

Bobby and Jonny have had a fire simmering between them but have never acted on it. When Jonny becomes jaded with working in the police force, feeling that he is consistently failing those around him, he quits and draws away from those that care about him. Bobby isn’t about to let him wallow and stay in a dark place so follows him to his beach house where he’s hiding out. Sparks fly and Jonny finall

Jonny and Bobby...... I have been waiting for his story. In the past books he was such a strong man, just everything that happened within his family I kept thinking where will this go. I loved that Jonny seemed to like Bobby and now we have their book. Two people who need to learn to trust and be open to each other. I also loved seeing the emotions from Jonny that he needed to get out and Bobby who is such a firecracker knew he needed to work through no matter what he said to her or anyone else. ...more

In Jonny's Redemption, the last installment of the Gemini Group series, Riley Edwards really doubles down on strong emotions. She explores how flawed thinking becomes the byproduct of emotional, mental and psychological abuse in one's childhood. Therefore affecting adult lives. Jonny Spencer has been a secondary character throughout the series and it seems fitting that his story is the series finale. Bobby Layne was introduced in Chasin's Surrender. Set against the backdrop of Jonny and Bobbi's ...more

I have loved each series that Riley Edwards has written. I remember being so excited for the first Gemini book and now here we are at the end. I look forward to the last in each series from Riley Edward's because I know that aside from her signature suspense and romance, she'll treat readers to a peek at each of the couples and update us on their beautiful lives. It's like a family reunion, getting a glimpse on what's been happening since I saw them last. Jonny and Bobby were perfection together ...more

If you have been reading the Gemini Group books you knew that Jonny's story was going to be gut wrenching and loaded with angst. Well Jonny's Redemption definitely gave us that and more! We first met Bobby Layne in Chasin's Surrender. She is a spitfire and has had her eye on Jonny since the first moment that they met. Jonny has so much baggage and he has finally drawn the line and decided to deal with it so that he can begin a future, one that he hopes to make Bobby a part of. There is a bit of ...more

Absolutely loved Johnny and Bobby's story, It was sad, raw and loving throughout the book, loved how they both overcame bad childhood and found each other. These two characters belong together and were able to overcome demons with each other and there friends at their backs. This was a great series and I enjoyed this book a lot, could not put it down. It was a great ending to the series and this book raps everything up for all the characters. Wish it did not have to end, but overall you will not ...more

Often others value us for our worth and contributions more than we value ourselves. In Jonny's Redemption, Riley created two characters who were loved by others but didn't yet know how to love themselves. It is a beautiful story about finding yourself and forgiving others. While my opening statements make this book sound boring and serious, it is anything but. Bobby and Jonny have a steaming relationship once they get started. This story, like all of Rileys, will take you on an emotional rollerc ...more

What an amazing story to end this series! Johnny and Bobby have been dancing around their attraction to each other for a long time. When Johnny gets to a breaking point and leaves to find some peace, Bobby is the one who eventually goes after him. Both have a lot of baggage from their past that leaves them with less than a good opinion of their own self worth. But when Johnny decides he can't stay away from her any longer, the healing begins. Watching them navigate their way through finding peac ...more

"Take her, idiot". "I'm done pretending." Early words from Jonny when Bobby comes to take him out of his self pity after a month. What an emotional read. You don't just get a story, you get an experience when you read a R. Edwards book. All your emotions come out when you read her words. There is anger, thoughtfulness, deliberate, haunting, truthful, and powerful. Totally love this Gemini family, how its grown into what is portrayed today. Always, always love the funny moments between them, in t ...more

Finally Jonny and Bobby's story....

This love story between Jonny and Bobby where each is dealing with demons from their past is a truly wonderful story. The pain and heartbreak these two have experienced growing up is harrowing but they manage to find each other and finally find someone in the other who is there just for them, who has their back and will defend them to the end.

Jonny's redemption could easily have been a dark and angsty tale, but Riley Edwards does a great job of making Bobby an

I've waited a long time for Jonny's journey. A great ending to a fantastic series, this closed it up nicely, not that I wanted this series to end, but this one had cameos of all the characters. I wouldn't advise to read this by itself, but it is a stand alone.
Jonny is a protector with a lot of guilt and even more baggage. Bobby has been in love with this broken man for a long while, and she's tenacious with a giant heart, hiding her own screwed up family past. There's a lot of history light shi

Oh... my. That was intense.

First things first... I wasn't Bobby's biggest fan... something about her just rubbed me up the wrong way. I loved Jonny so much and wanted him to have the perfect HEA and didn't think that Bobby would provide that. I have changed my mind. She and Jonny were perfect for each. Absolutely perfect.

I found the plot running in the background more than a little confusing... I just got... lost.

I really thought that there would be some conflict with Tony... perhaps Riley Edwar

This entire Gemini Group is Fire! Johnny's redemption we finally get to see what demon has been eating away at Johnny's soul and why the drama of his adopted brother killing his dad really ate at him. We've waited a long time for him and Bobby to get together. We met bobby during Evie's story and now we understand why she is a pitbull and so loyal to her friends whom are truly her family. The storyline of an old vendetta kinda gets off track of Johnny & Bobby's love story but I guess we needed a ...more

At first, Bobby’s serenity seems a strange foil to Jonny’s anger and frustration, but, as the story progresses, she is perfect for him. There is heartbreaking back story here, for both Bobby and Jonny, but sometimes those that appear least likely to be redeemed, just might be. This is a fabulous final book in the series, tying up so many loose ends for all the Gemini stories and characters. There is anger, there is hurt, there is suspense, and there is peace – and I personally found this a one-s ...more

I don’t know how Riley does it, but each book just gets better and better. She breaks my heart with the words in her characters story’s. The overwhelming emotions, the loss, the pain, but most of all the unconditional love. Then she takes the shattered pieces of my little heart and mends them. This is the story of Jonny and Bobby. Life dealt neither a fair hand, but if they want a future, they have to learn to forgive those who haunt their hearts. This is a story of overcoming the horrors of lif ...more

Jonny and Bobby

I will just say a big WOW for this story and how amazing it was to travel through this series. Riley did an amazing job with all of these stories, but really showed how two lost souls can find the love that they deserve. It's sad that Jonny endured so much heartache throughout his life, but finally his soul is healed. Bobby is just a truly beautiful person and shows her love and loyalty to all that deserve it. I knew Jonny's book was gonna be hug and brilliant but........ WOW. Jonny was an awesome character but he seemed to have so much baggage attached to him in regards to his past that i wasn't sure he was going to give Bobby a chance. Bobby has her own baggage due to her mom leaving and her family's not so legal jobs. We see some ex cops coming back to seek revenge but it turns deadly. I did cry in places and i was mad in others. As usual this author takes us on an emotional ride of ups and downs, ...more

Two kindred spirits coming from crappy backgrounds, crappy childhoods, leaving the past behind and finding a way forward to the future. Plenty of fast paced action as well as sizzling hot romance, with some surprising twists and turns along the way.
The addition of the epilogue of the entire group of couples and families in their various futures was an added bonus, one that was very appreciated.
Not everyone can write a must read book, a must read series, but Riley Edwards
