Prince Llyr of the water dragon clan is in love with Talia a human but he hasn’t yet got the mating mark on his chest that lets him know that he has found his fated mate in Talia, that’s not going to stop Llyr trying to prove to Talia that she is his. Even though Talia has very strong feelings for Llyr she won’t give her heart to him because she can’t be his mate if he doesn’t have the mark. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Talia the timid?

Talia has heard how Lilly met her mate, and has heard a fellow crew mate describe how her other friend, Skye, was carried off. Worrying about all that is stressful enough, but knowing the male she is falling for is leaving for his territory soon just adds to it. No marks, means no mate. Can she trust his words? What if she says yes and his marks appear for someone else? And why is the clan that took Skye attacking the human settlement in Fire Clan territory?

Spoilers ahead.

Can be read as a stand-alone, but recommend reading a previous book to get a better understanding of the world and characters; especially since most of the story continues from the previous books in the series.

Llyr is a gentle, kind, and protective alien prince. Love the use of his dragon wings in this story - after all, he's a dragon shifter. Talia is an intelligent, feminine, and s

The third installment in the series.

Llyr, the water dragon prince, has spent some time getting to know Thaila. And the time he spends with her, his bond with her strengthens but the swirling fate mark still hasn't made it's appearance on his chest. Despite it not showing, he knows that Thaila is his.

Thaila, has enjoyed spending her time with Prince Llyr. The more time she spends with him the more she wishes that she was his fated mate. Every so often her eyes trail to his chest to see if the m

Prince Llyr is a sweet, protective male from the Water Dragon Clan. He knows he has found his beloved mate, the human Talia. But because he has not displayed the mating mark on his chest, proving he has found his fated mate, Talia is reluctant to love him. Llyr will continue trying to prove to Talia that she is definitely his, with or without the mating mark. But Talia has heard stories of others finding their mates, validated through the mating mark. So even though Talia may have very strong fe ...more

alien romance

A sweet alien romance with hot spots. This book is part of a series but each book can be read as a stand alone so if you have not read the earlier books you will not be at a disadvantage when you read this one. When you have been told the signs to watch for and they do not appear how can you trust your heart and more importantly the heart of the alien that is claiming you as his one fated mate ? Clan wars, dragon attacks , scorned female dragons how is a human to know her own mind a

A mixture of paranormal and alien that doesn’t elevate you disappointed. I don’t really read much alien romance, I’m more into paranormal, but this was a nice blend of the two. Unlike the previous books this one has a twist with no mate mark showing up when Prince Llyr sets his eyes on Talia. Between the culture clash, jaded female dragons, and Talia’s own tragic backstory their love story seems star-crossed. The Prince knows what, or should I say *who* he wants and he’s not letting a little mar ...more

Llyr is trying to convince the human female, Talia, that she is his fated mate even though he does not have a fate mark on his chest. Llyr is certain she is his mate, butTalia is worried that if she says yes, what happens if his marks appear for someone else.
This is the first story I have read in her series but i didn’t find it necessary to have read the first two books to enjoy this book. If finding out how the humans arrived on the planet would be important to you, then you should read the fir

So this is the 3rd book in this series, and while you will definitely be more in the know if you are caught up first, it isn’t necessary to enjoy this book. This book is more romantic than you would expect, but that’s because Llyr is trying to convince Talia that, mark or not, he knows she’s meant for him. Who doesn’t love a man that knows what he wants, and is determined to get it, especially if you’re what he wants. So entertaining all the way through, and will take your emotions on quite the ...more

alien dragons baby!

love this book! it was love at first sight but complicated. Unlike the previous stories in this series(each can be read as a standalone), this dragon does not get a fate mark right away when he meets his soul mate. Its a mark that confirms to everyone he has found his only fated mate. As cool as he is, he wont let a simple mark dictate what his heart and soul already knows: he found his mate and will not let go. Squeeek! Swoon worthy! Love me some dragons mates!! 💙

I love any story about dragons. Prince Llyr is a water dragon and he knows that his mate is Tilia. But Tilia is not so sure as he didn't get the mating marks. She doesn't want to love him and then him find his real mate. Prince Llyr is sure that Tilia is his mate. He will love no other. The storyline is intriguing and the character are engaging. Llyr is very kind and a protective alien and Taia is intelligent, sweet human who also can be strong when necessary. I received an ARC copy of this book ...more

I hadn’t.read any of the other books in the series but wasn’t hard to follow along. It’s a quick read with lots of drama and action. One very sure alien prince and a reluctant human female. You can understand Talia’s point of view with seeing how it went with her friends. I liked the book you able to get a whole story regardless of length.

This book is full of drama and dragons. I loved that the Tilia didn't need rescuing from Llyr but saved his life all by her little human self. Snickering here. I love way you find a mate is the mating mark. I am glad the Tilia got her happily ever after, after fighting it for so long and being afraid that Llyr would find another mate. Love is so funny so times.

Water Dragon Prince Llyr knows in his heart that Talia ( human) is the one for him. There's one problem though....when the dragons meet their fated mate a mark is supposed to show up. Even though it doesn;t he is sure Talia is it for him. Talia is afraid to give her heart to Llyr - worried that he will meet another and his mark will show up leaving her heart broken. This story has adventure and drama. Overall I enjoyed this book.

Are they meant to be?

Llyr believes that Talia is his "linaya", or mate. The problem is that the glowing sigil that should appear when he meets her, doesn't. So she doesn't want to fall for him in case someone else is his true mate.
He will do anything to woo her and protect her. Several things happen that try to tear them apart.
This book will keep you on your toes wondering what will happen next.

So I’m reading these a bit out of order but it doesn’t seem to matter too much. This was an interesting story idea. She wants to fall in love but is scared to because she is concerned that he might not be fated for her even though he believes she is. It was a fun and endearing book. I am enjoying the series and find the characters are well demand entertaining. I look forward to reading the last two books I haven’t read to see what the rest of the world looks like.

This was my absolute favorite of this series. Yes this is part of a series but it can be read alone. I do recommend reading the entire series though so you can follow along with the other characters! I mean who wouldn’t fall in love with a dragon who loves you? Llyr is an absolute gem!

This is a quick and amazing read!

Aria Winter has given us another great addition to this Elemental Dragon Warriors series. I have enjoyed the previous books and there is no exception on this one. The characters were endearing and entertaining while the story line was engaging and this combination kept me hooked from beginning to end.

I love this series. I can’t wait for the next book!!!

Is he her true mate and if so why doesn’t it show? He is sure she is his fated mate but what if she isn’t? She is afraid of what would happen.

I have enjoyed this series but found this to be the weakest book. I must admit I got irritated with the female MC, she kept pushing the prince away because of the chance he "might" fall in love with someone else. This went on for 70% of the book. Way, way!!! Too long. Several times I wanted him to just leave her. I mean how many times can the guy say that he loves her and have her shove him away?! We get our HEA but it could have been better. ...more
