This was like Simpler Living for Dummies or Idiots. In an entire book of over 450 pages there were probably only 2 or 3 useful hints that I have not either implemented years ago or have discounted. Reading it was a waste of my time but then I am older than many readers so have had more time to figure out how to (out of necessity) simplify my life.

The most complex book on simple living that you never needed.

Many things only apply in specific contexts, and you'll soon tire of the barrage of obvious or minimally useful "tips". You'd think a book on simple living would be written in broader terms and know to cut the extraneous.

It's sad because the "room by room" concept had potential.
