These Times of Sedition
A group of hardcore fundamentalists embedded in the White House are planning a highly-coordinated, multi-pronged overthrow of the country. Purchased this edition, 'The Complete Abandon Series: A Thrilling Post-Apocayptic Survival Series' on November 13, 2023, from Amazon for $0.99 plus tax. EMP by ingrown terrorist. Disagree with the author on people and their motivations, he often blames the evil on victims along with the less than one percent that are truly inherently evil. Seems to blame some of the wrong people for the 2020 riots.

The previous books introduced us to the McDaniel family. This one brings them together. This family will do anything to survive while also ensuring that country is capable of surviving. They will stop at nothing to that end. Be prepared for the horror of that requirement. Be prepared for the insanity of human existence. Be prepared to be shocked. This book is riveting, scary, and realistic in a brutal fashion. Ryan brings detail to his writing that will curdle your blood. I love this series and recommend it to anyone who wants to know the reality of the meaning of SHTF.

This series is all to real in our new reality
Captivated, Mesmerized, Frightened, Resolved....so many descriptors to use that I stopped at four.
At times you need to just set it down and walk away because much of this series seems all to real...much of it already underway. This fact makes this series not only relevant but frightfully predictive.
HIGHLY suggest people read this....No matter your political bend, Unless you are ANTIFA minded (If so read this as a warning), This is America and We will fight for that Piece of Paper and for our combined good nature.

The Abandon Series, by author Ryan Schow, is without a doubt one of the best in the post-apoc genre!
Book 4, I will admit however, was a bit too heavy on the foreign politics for my taste. Just too drawn out in this aspect.
Other than the above, this on-going series continues to thrill & impress!
I cannot believe there’s only one more book to go until the end. This story definitely has that “12 book series” potential.
I can’t wait to read — what I’m sure will be — the exciting conclusion in Book 5!

This series is crazy! It is a rollercoaster ride that you don't want to get off. Not for the weak of stomach or heart. This series is a possibility that people have feared could happen to us in real life. Ryan Schow is an excellent writer that brings the characters to life and you can feel their stories.
I can't wait for the next book. Would recommend. Hopefully this is one series that never comes true.

Here we meet Marley McDaniel, Isaiah, and Adi. I like that with this one I didn't know how to peg people. Is the President as cold and heartless as Marley thinks she is and is Isaiah aligned with someone(s)? The pieces of the puzzle are put together of how things happened and who exactly is behind it. The new worry is what could be coming their way.
The reunion is joyful with an underlying anxiety of the days/weeks/months ahead.

Non-stop excitement!
Wow. I had to wait for my head to stop spinning to be able to type this. This is the first series by Ryan Schow that I have read and was wondering if he would be able to keep up the pace...boy, he did not disappoint! The action and excitement is unrelenting and there are so many great characters in this story that it's impossible to have a favorite. I will definitely be reading everything that he has written and he has earned himself a new fan!

What a thrill ride!
As usual, Ryan has written another fast paced installment to this series. The "McDaniel blood" is strong in this family of warriors. Through it all, they show that they are still a caring family. This is a well written action packed book worthy of reading. Looking forward to book 5.

WOW, What a wild ride this book 4 is...totally unputdownable suspense action. I would give more than a 5 if I could. Love these characters. The McDaniels family will do whatever it takes to survive after an EMP takes the grid down. Non stop action with many twists and turns. I am anxiously waiting for Book 5 Retribution...BRING IT ON!! I totally recommend this series.

Fast paved and riveting
The book keeps you going non stop practically from the first page and moves back and forth between the two oldest kids and their survival struggles, with short jaunts to keep up with the McDaniel parents and Constanza. The apocalypse mounts and the foreign powers are moving in. It will keep you going until the last page. Looking forward to the next book!

Blockbuster
Excellent characters, all different personalities with the same goal in mind... Save America. If our country is ever in such a state I pray we pull together as the McDaniels did and stand together. Loved this book.

Unbelievably realistic
If you keep up with current events you must read this series.
Chilling accounts that are fictional, yet reminds me of front page news. Truly recommend this for anyone who loves post apocalypse fiction.

What a Ride!
As with the other books in this series, my emotions were a mess. At times I cried, other times I wanted to stomp someone's ass! Such a roller-coaster! Can't wait for the wrap up that's coming. As always Ryan, RESPECT! Amazing job!

Waiting for the 5th book in the series to come out later this month. It has a lot of action and people are fighting for this country as others political leaders sells out this country. I can see this happening if people don't wise up.

Dead death and dying
Didn't really care for all the secondary killing, seemed somewhat unnecessary for the story line. But the storyline kept the readers interest!
