The teacher who had this book before me decided that s/he needed it for a sight reading for the word "can," so s/he changed each page from single word sentence commands to full sentence questions containing the target word and the child responded likewise.
Ex. page 1: "Can you button? / Yes, I can."
Ex. page 1: "Can you button? / Yes, I can."
