I really wanted to like this one more but it was okayish to me. I do wish Luke was more alpha few times I was man just TELL HER!!!
Let's back up. Luke is coming into town because his brother is getting married hes been living the "fake life" because his work let him. Undercover ops so he is a fakeish playboy (he did have a past before) and he meets Kingly the steam is already between them but both feel its a one time thing since Kin is leaving in the morning and he has to go back to work.
But a misunderstanding after there night together makes Kin heartbroken.
That doesn't stop Luke from going to his girl sleep with her again and leaving again. Yeah Luke girls get a different picture if you do that. I wish he told her in secert his job. She thought she was a booty call and sees pictures thinking that. Then more misunderstanding happens and a suprise now our couple is together and Luke told her the truth but still have drama with her mom.
No om drama slight ow, no cheating, slight secondary character, tiny drama,sexy times, Virgin gal no manwhore (but has a playboy image due to work)

"Only Tonight" is the story of Kinley and Luke.
This was pretty random, with the siblings from the first book hooking up at the first one's wedding. She a virgin, he's a "playboy" with a secret past. She travels around the world, he repeatedly shows up to bang her.. until he doesnt.
The story isnt as fleshed out as the first one and many threads are left untied. Felt a bit unsatisfactory.

Delighted NOT
Well, I tried again, and again I was delighted with Miss Darling NOT. I feel like this is a cheaper version of Alexa Riley and AR has already been discounted. By words. I feel like there is literally no plot, just sex and unrealistic dialogues between heroes and heroines. It supposed to be a fantasy but I think this tea was sugared a little bit too much. Apologies for the sour review. I’m sure there a thousands of readers that love Miss Darling, I’m only sorry I’m not in this group.

I was excited for this story. I will say, it wasn’t my favorite. I’m out of breath with how fast paced it was. Luke is OTT and the steamy moments are still as good as always!

This story was sweet, romantic,steamy but kind of too fast paced for me(just me 🤷♀️).Luke was sweet and J/P but had a lot of secrets that sometimes hurt his woman. The OW drama was a tad bit too much for me but in the end love always wins😍😍😍. Sweet romance with a HEA and really good epilogues 👍👍👍

I was really hoping to like this story, but it fell very flat for me. I understand that the length of the story dictates exactly how much can be explored and delved into, but there was an insta connection, a Hero leading a double life, a heroine jet setting off to Europe for work, several Big Misunderstandings, family drama, and baby drama.
Everything came off very surface and almost like an outline for a longer book. The hero popping up in random places, and her just accepting it after how their first night went, and what she perceives his reputation to be? No. I am not about heroines who let their brains be overruled by their libido, especially when all it takes for her brain to shut down is the sight of the hero.
I usually enjoy this author's work and will continue to read it in the future, but this was a miss for me.

I wish it was longer
I loved this story! I really really wish it was longer but it didn’t feel rushed. Kinley is amazing and sweet and I love how open Luke is about how he feels about her. You feel how conflicted he is about not being able to tell her some things at the beginning but that doesn’t stop him from laying his feelings on the line. I absolutely dislike the girls mom. She’s such a witch with a capital B. I disliked her in Kennedy’s book and in this one I just wanted her to jump off a bridge. She’s the worst and tries to come between the girls and their spouses. Thankfully they both see through her garbage and are able to have their Happily ever afters anyways. Definitely recommend. You don’t HAVE to read Kennedy’s book (Only Her) first but it’s also a great book so you may as well.

I can't fucking stand when the women main characters pick on unsuspecting "other" (because they're not really other women, just people who flirt and are good looking) women and call them names because the FMs are "edgy"(?). Kinley called another woman 'big boobs'. Girl wtf. What did she do? Looked at your man that you met an hour ago and had big boobs? How is that her fault? How fucking insecure about your own looks you have to be to do that?
And before you judge, yes - that woman turned out shady. I think. But she hadn't done anything when the FMC bad-mouthed her...

A good read.
This was a nice follow up to the first book. I wasn’t thrilled that Luke just let her go, even if he did have some things to “wrap up” but I did like that Kinley blocked and ditched him when she needed too. Even if it didn’t last long.
It was a nice touch that he couldn’t stay totally away and would occasionally hop a private plane to wherever she was to be with her, even if it was for a few hours… before taking off again. Okay, maybe I’ve changed my mind and that’s making me angry lol

Perfect!
Kinley and Luke story was so beautiful. I could not get enough of them. I am so happy they are together. They were so perfect for each other. I love how the family became complete once they got together. I swear this book just makes you so giddy.

I was so intrigued by Luke and Kinley in Only Her, I had some high hopes for them. He projects this aura and persona of playboy billionaire. Kinley doesn't want to be a fling, she wants what Kennedy found in Gerrit. Even though she assumes that this will be just one night, she is helpless to resist how he makes her feel. So she goes against her very nature and spends the night with him. Real life comes crashing in and all she can do is proceed with her plans and try to forget him. Luke isn't down for that. She is it for him and he won't stop until she in his arms, forever. Gah, just love these Kane boys! Their path didn't run quite as smooth as their siblings and I loved it just as much!

I kind of loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable once you let go of societal conventions. The characters were interesting. Kennedy was a great sister and support system for Kinley. Luke has a reputation as a player and is very good at playing that role. It has helped him quite a bit with his "business" dealings. Kinley knows that Luke has a reputation as a player but that doesn't stop her from flirting with him and more. They are both drawn to each other and neither really tries to fight it. Kinley tells Luke it's only for one night but he has a way of getting what he wants and tracking her down. I enjoyed Luke's surprise visits even though I hate surprises! Due to Luke's "business" there is a lack of communication between Luke and Kinley that leads to misunderstandings. Luke and Kinley's happy ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book.

I love a good story with false appearances. And the obsessed hero in this story seems to be a player, but he is all man, all in love, and all in with the heroine, marriage and babies included.
We get to read about the sister we met in the previous novella. It is a very sweet and sensual affair where the hero is off doing mysterious things while the heroine believes wild things about him, but they can't help stealing moments of passion. It's a sweet couple in need of love and they find it in spades.
I like it when there are misunderstandings, but the heroine is still strong and hopeful. I loved when the sisters shared scenes, especially the epilogue with double events. Epic!

Kinley and Luke’s story was soooo good! Just a little angsty with a whole lot of fire. From the first moment they see each other they know that life will be different. Their attraction is fast and insta-love not surprising for a Kane man. A fun, quick read that I really enjoyed with the bonus of getting some little glimpses into Kennedy and Gerrit’s story again. Highly recommend this one! I received this book as an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

I have been not so patiently waiting for Luke and Kinley's story. Let me just start by saying, totally worth the wait!! I wish there were more Kane brothers. They are both relentless in going after their women. Could be read as a standalone, but why would you want to do that?

While I loved this story overall, I felt it was a bit rushed a few times. Lucy’s stories usually flow better and for some reason, this one didn’t flow the same for me.
