Moonlit Whisper (An Irish Romance) by Amy McKinley was a great 5 star second chance romance. This is a short read that you won’t want to put down until you're done.

Flo is a tutor and when her father asks her to tutor one of his new players she was shocked to see who it was. Connor is back for his senior year of college and to play football. The biggest bonus is that Flo is also there, the main reason for his return. Problem is, Flo is seeing Lach. Lach, Flo and Connor were all neighbors and grew

Moonlit Whisper is a novella in Amy McKinley’s Moonlit Destination Series. The series collects short romantic reads set in different locations – in this case, it is Ireland. Moonlit Whisper can be enjoyed as a standalone – it doesn’t follow on at all from Moonlit Mirage, which is connected to the Gray Ghost series.
Set in Dublin, Moonlit Whisper tells the story of Fiona, Connor and Lachlan. Childhood friends, the trio is split up when Connor accepts a football (soccer) scholarship in the US in or

In normal Amy McKinley fashion, I devoured this book in less than an hour and although I’m not used to her writing such short books and might slightly prefer her longer novels, I did in fact enjoy this story. I kinda figured out how this would end pretty quick but how it got there wasn’t exactly how I predicted, so I appreciated that.

Everything that draws me to this author was present in this story, the smooth f

When Fiona was asked to help out a transfer student, little did she know a blast from the past would come back and haunt her.

Fiona has been asked to help a new transfer student out from the football team but when she meets him for the first time she can't believe its Connor, the boy who she had feelings for all those many years ago but he went away and she thought he was gone forever.

Connor had to leave to help support his family, now that he is back in Dublin can he rekindle the love he had for

Moonlit Whisper is a short and sweet second chance at love novelette that can be read as a standalone story. Fiona (Fio) is engaged to childhood friend Lach but when Connor returns from living across the pond Fio is torn between her new love and her old childhood sweetheart. Connor had to leave Dublin to live with his Mum but he hated leaving behind Fio and he definitely never forgot her. When Connor returns as a fourth year transfer student at Trinity to play football he is determined to have F ...more

I absolutely love this author and she’s without a doubt always a one-click for me. I literally read this book in less than a hour. Once I started I was pulled in and couldn’t stop. Moonlit Whisper: An Irish Romance, is part of the Moonlit Destination series by Amy Mckinley.

Moonlight Whisper is a novella that can be devoured in an afternoon, which is handy as once i started reading i didn’t want to put it down.
The main characters, Fiona and Connor, were childhood sweethearts and best friends who were forced to split up when Connor followed his dream to play football. Fiona was crushed but eventually chose to move on. Of course Connor returns, but he finds Fiona with a new l

5 stars!

Short, sweet and to the point, I like it! I really enjoyed this story, the characters were easy to fall in love with and relate to. I didn’t like Lach from the beginning, he seemed like such a douche, and the way he kept bringing up being there for Fiona when her mother passed made me think he looked at that as the reason why Fiona should be with him over Connor. Connor is heartbroken that he has to leave Fiona to follow his mom, but he was young and really didn’t have a choice. I can un

Moonlit Whisper : An Irish Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley

This is another great read by Amy McKinley. McKinley knows how to draw readers in and keep them wanting more.

Fiona is a fourth year college student and is happy. At least she thinks she is. When the boy from next door moves back things change. The quote I chose for Fiona is: “I’m glad you’re back, Connor, but I’m not yours anymore. I’m engaged to Lachlan.”

Connor left his hometown to get away from his abusive

I enjoyed this romance story. It is a shorter story that packs a real punch for romance. I was pulled into the story right from the beginning and it certainly kept me turning pages to the end. This is an engaging story about Fiona and Connor. She is asked to tutor a football player but what she doesn’t realize is that she is about to face someone from her past. The problem is that he left her all that time ago, will he make amends with her? Connor is determined to have her back and show her he i ...more

Moonlit Whisper by Amy Mckinley was a really good, quick read! I was instantly engages from the first page, and I enjoyed the fast paced story telling and characters in the novel. My only complaint about the novel however, is the fact that it was a little too fast paced. I wouldn't have minded some extra details about some of the events that transpired in the novel, and a little more background on past events. She did a great job story telling the past events and the whole story, but to me it wo ...more

I wish it was a full story, as I think it ended too soon. This story of Connor and Fiona was more carefree than I'm used to reading of McKinley's. I really do adore this author. I get lost in her books so easily and they are always a pleasure to read. Moonlit Whisper was a lovely second chance romance novella, I read it quite quickly but that was definitely because I was so swept up in what I was reading. Moonlit Whisper is a novelette in the Moonlit Destination series. It can be read as a standalone.
This book is a quick read. It’s a little bit angsty, which I’m totally on board with because it offsets the tender moments nicely. It took me a minute to remember that soccer outside of the US is called football so I was little confused right at the beginning when it was talking about a football field but kicking to score a goal, lol. Another great short, PG-13 romance from Amy McKinley. I liked this one better than A Moonlit Whisper because I found the love triangle and the college setting more interesting. Fiona is faced with a difficult decision: Stay with her fiancé, Lachlan, or rekindle her romance with her long lost ex-boyfriend, Conner.

Fictional or not, I never agree with people who cheat on their partners, so I was interested to see how A Moonlit Whisper dealt with this. In the end, I believe that the story had enoug
