What an incredibly emotional read and so brilliantly put together.

I'm not saying this is an easy read because it's about a violent attack and brutal rape. And it's especially difficult to read because this is like the raw, uncut version of a movie - Lois shares her thoughts and feelings as she jotted them down at the time of the incident.

I admire Lois for her courage. She fought back.

I am halfway through reading this story so I'm still seeing Lois in the early stages of grief and post-traumat
