I enjoyed this book, but not as much as some of the "design a peaceful home." This one was more formal, traditional, and overdone.
However, I did like that each chapter had a "Peaceful Pleasures" section with quick tips.
This is more for "rich people who want to make their large homes look peaceful and not gaudy."
It's a nice read and reference, but it doesn't speak to me the way other books that promote a peaceful and serene home do.
